*Text:* Judges 11:1-8
*Main idea:*
Mercy takes you out of the struggle and makes you a system others can rely on.
*What’s MERCY?*
- Compassion shown to someone who deserves judgment
- Heaven stepping in when you’re not qualified
- God handpicking you from many and placing you on the path of purpose for His name’s sake
*Biblical examples:*
- *David, the bush boy* → 1 Sam. 16:12
- *Jephthah, the son of a harlot* → Judges 11:6
*Key Points:*
1. *Mercy is senior to merit* — it moves before you qualify
2. *Mercy is a currency* — there’s nothing it can’t buy
3. *Mercy changes your class* — it lifts you from one level to another
_Example: Elisha moved from “son of the prophet” to “prophet”_ → 2 Kings 2:1-7
