🚨 Pope Leo has expressed strong concern about giving smartphones to very young children, warning that it can lead to addiction and exposure to harmful content.

He noted that allowing children to have personal mobile devices at an early age—especially without adult supervision—can increase their vulnerability, encourage dependency, and expose them to isolation, bullying, cyberbullying, and pressure to share private or sensitive information.

As we celebrate the Year of the Sacraments in the Diocese of Warri, we reflect on the beauty and power of the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Confirmation is not a graduation from the faith—it is a divine commissioning. In this sacred sacrament, the baptized receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, are sealed with His gifts, and strengthened to live as courageous witnesses of Christ.

Just as the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles at Pentecost, so too does He descend upon every soul confirmed in the Church today.

You are anointed.
You are empowered.
You are sent.

Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit, and let His fire transform your life.
