DAILY REFLECTIONS WITH REV. FR. DR. ANTHONY MARIO OZELE
EXPERIENCING THE RESURRECTION POWER
Recently, I read the powerful testimony of a man who experienced firsthand the resurrection power of Jesus in his life. He had struggled with addiction to drugs and alcohol, and his life was spiraling out of control. But through the love and support of his wife, he made the decision to confront his addiction and seek help.
As he went through the journey to get clean, he reached a pivotal moment in the 12-step process. This step required him to make amends with his past, to confront his hurts and painful relationships. In that moment, a priest came alongside him and helped him navigate this difficult process. And it was before the Blessed Sacrament that he experienced the presence of Jesus in a profound way.
WHAT MADE THIS MAN’S EXPERIENCE OF THE RESURRECTION POWER POSSIBLE? IT WAS HIS WILLINGNESS TO COME TO THE END OF HIMSELF AND SURRENDER ALL TO JESUS. HE DIDN’T JUST OFFER HIS ABILITIES OR TALENTS; HE OFFERED HIS HURTS, HABITS, AND HANG-UPS. HE LAID EVERYTHING AT THE FEET OF JESUS AND SAID, "Here it is, Lord. Take it and do only that which you can do." (To be continued…)

**Prayer, Blessings & Declarations for the Month of November**

*Rev.Fr.Jerry Oweh
**Opening Prayer**

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Heavenly Father, as we step into the month of **November**, we thank You for the breath of life, for the gift of faith, and for the countless mercies that have sustained us thus far. We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and expectation. Lord, let this new month be a holy turning point — a season of grace, renewal, and divine favor in every aspect of our lives.

Let Your light shine upon our homes, our families, our work, and our journeys. May every day of November draw us closer to Your perfect will, and may our hearts remain steadfast in love and in service to You. Through Christ our Lord.
**Amen.**

**Prayer for Grace and Strength**

Lord Jesus, You walked among us with compassion and power. You healed the broken, comforted the weary, and raised the downcast. In this month of November, pour that same healing grace upon us.

Strengthen the weak.
Lift up the discouraged.
Heal the sick.
Console the grieving.
And revive every soul that has grown weary in prayer.

Let Your Holy Spirit breathe new fire into our hearts. Let the altar of our souls burn again with faith, with hope, and with love that cannot be extinguished.

As the year draws toward its close, Lord, let none of us end where we began. Bring completion to every good work You have started in us, and crown our efforts with success according to Your divine will.
**Amen.**

**Blessing for the Month**

By the authority of the priesthood of Jesus Christ,
I bless you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

May this month of November open for you the **gates of divine favor**.
May the **dew of Heaven** water your path with abundance.
May every closed door swing open at the sound of your faith.
May angels go before you to prepare your way,
and may God’s mighty hand rest upon you to preserve your life from harm.

Where others see limitation, may you see divine opportunity.
Where others faint in fear, may you rise in faith.
Where there is darkness, may you be the light.

May your home be a sanctuary of peace.
May your family be surrounded by divine protection.
May the Lord’s mercy cover you like a garment,
and may His joy overflow in your heart like a river.

In this month, you will not bury your dreams.
You will not mourn your blessings.
You will not walk in confusion.
For the Lord your God goes before you —
to guide, to guard, and to glorify His name in your life.

**And may Almighty God bless you, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.**

**Prophetic Declarations for November**

Declare these words daily with faith and conviction:

1. This month, I walk in divine alignment with God’s purpose for my life.
2. November shall be my month of restoration — all that was delayed shall be delivered.
3. The favor of God will distinguish me wherever I go.
4. Every seed I have sown in tears shall return in joy.
5. No weapon formed against me or my loved ones shall prosper.
6. I shall not labor in vain, for my harvest time has come.
7. The presence of God will go before me and make the crooked paths straight.
8. In November, my spirit will be sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Ghost.
9. The peace of Christ will reign in my heart and in my home.
10. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
11. Every burden upon my shoulders is lifted in Jesus’ name.
12. The blood of Jesus will speak mercy and protection over me daily.
13. My hands will build what will last, and my voice will proclaim what is true.
14. I will not lack any good thing; divine supply shall locate me.
15. This month, I will finish strong and start the next with joy.
16. My faith will rise above fear; my hope will silence every doubt.
17. God’s timing will manifest beautifully in my life.
18. I will experience divine connections and supernatural breakthroughs.
19. The fire of prayer will not go out in my life.
20. I shall live and not die, to declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living.

**Closing Benediction**

Beloved, as you journey through November, remember:
God has gone ahead of you. His mercy surrounds you. His angels walk beside you.
Do not fear the days ahead — for the same God who brought you this far will carry you triumphantly to the end of the year.

May the **light of Christ** shine through you.
May the **love of Mary, Our Blessed Mother**, enfold you.
And may the **peace of the Holy Spirit** abide with you, now and forevermore.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
**Amen.*

Saturday, Nov 1 – Solemnity of All Saints

Scripture: “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven.” – Matthew 5:12
Reflection: Today we honor all the saints—known and unknown—who lived faithfully and now shine with the light of Christ. Their lives remind us that holiness is not perfection, but daily surrender to love.
Prayer: Lord, may the example of the saints inspire me to live with purity, humility, and courage.
Declarations:

I am called to holiness in my daily life.

The light of Christ shines through me.
Challenge: Choose one saint and learn one virtue from their life to imitate today.

*PRAY WITH ME*

My secret place is in you, my God
My strength is in your name, Lord God Almighty
I am ready, by your power, to face and confront all that the wicked ones have set against me
I believe, Lord, that your strength will not fail me, your grace will support me and your love will shield me
Give me absolute confidence in your power and in your name
To be your light, O God, where darkness has evaded
Make me example of your glory and one whom you have favoured
You said the world will hate us because it hated you first
When those who hate me are working to make me not succeed
I need you to take me above their machinations
Bring the evil ones in the land to their knees, O God
Let all men acknowledge your supremacy even in the affairs of this world
Deliver me and my household from disasters and from every form of misfortunes
May all who believe in you, O God
All who call upon your Name that is above all other names, be shielded, strengthened and blessed
Keep me and my family safe each day of our lives to the glory of your name
I declare that no evil shall overcome me this day
In the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen 🙏🏽
——————
_I pray for you this day that your light will be brighter, your strength will not fail you, your faith will grow stronger and your peace shall be undisturbed. The Lord will not let those who hate you to triumph over you. In the presence of your enemies, God will prepare your table of blessings. No man will spoil what God has destined for your life. *YOU SHALL PREVAIL IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES*_

DAILY REFLECTIONS WITH REV. FR. DR. ANTHONY MARIO OZELE
DIVINE EMPOWERMENT 7
5. To be Divinely Empowered YOU HAVE TO SOW IN TEARS.
As Christians we are taught to share what we have with those who have less.
The spirit and action of giving is one of the most important spiritual practices of a disciple of Jesus. And the attitude we have toward our finances directly influences the condition of our relationship with Jesus.
WE ARE BUT CUSTODIANS OF GOD’S GIFTS UNTO US HENCE WHEN WE GIVE BACK TO GOD, IT MUST BE QUALITATIVE. Psalm 126:5 says “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.” In 2 Samuel 24:24 King David said to Araunah, “No, I will buy it from you at the proper price, for I cannot sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing…”
We are quite familiar with 2 Corinthians 9:6 and Luke 6:38.
TRUE BELIEVERS DO NOT GIVE BECAUSE WE THINK THAT GOD NEEDS OUR GIFTS IN ORDER TO BE GOD, OR THAT THE CHURCH NEEDS OUR MONEY TO BE THE CHURCH. INSTEAD, BELIEVERS GIVE TO GOD AND HIS CHURCH BECAUSE OF OUR GRATITUDE TO HIM. OUR GIVING IS A REMINDER OF THE BLESSINGS GOD GAVE AND CONTINUES TO GIVE US IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. Pray Psalm 37.

DAILY REFLECTIONS WITH REV. FR. DR. ANTHONY MARIO OZELE
DIVINE EMPOWERMENT 5
3. YOU MUST PRAY AND COMMIT YOUR ABILITIES AND WEAKNESSES INTO GOD'S HANDS: Jabez asked and received of the Lord, Hannah asked and received of the Lord. It’s often said that, “A CLOSED MOUTH IS A CLOSED DESTINY.” If you dont ask how can you get? Jesus said in John 16:24, “Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.” So, start asking God for divine empowerment.
St. Paul writes in 2 Cor. 12:7-9, “… Therefore, that I might not become too elated, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, an angel of Satan, to beat me, to keep me from being too elated. Three times I begged the Lord about this, that it might leave me, but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.”
Verse 10 shows that Paul does not run away from his weakness. He does not allow the weakness to hold him back from what God is asking him to do. He does not sit back and complain that because of his weakness, he can’t do anything. In fact, he does the opposite. He presses in to God, relying on God’s grace for endurance. Having a weakness is not an excuse for Paul. It does not mean that he stops trying to make an effort.
Part of our Christian walk is understanding our own weaknesses. But an even bigger part is to commit to letting God show His strength and power through our weaknesses. Having a weakness is not an excuse to sit back and wallow–it’s an opportunity for God to show His grace by showing how we can face and maybe even overcome our weaknesses.
BELOVED, BE OPEN TO GOD SHOWING HIS STRENGTH THROUGH YOUR WEAKNESSES, AND BE WILLING TO MAKE EFFORT TO PERSIST THROUGH THEM. Pray Psalm 35.

DAILY REFLECTIONS WITH REV. FR. DR. ANTHONY MARIO OZELE
DIVINE EMPOWERMENT 4
In order to o be Divinely Empowered
2. YOU MUST DO OR HAVE SOMETHING
Take note of this narrative in 2 Kings 4:1-2, “A certain woman, the widow of one of the guild prophets, cried out to Elisha: “My husband, your servant, is dead. You know that he revered the LORD, yet now his creditor has come to take my two children into servitude.” Elisha answered her, “What am I to do for you? Tell me what you have in the house.” She replied, “This servant of yours has nothing in the house but a jug of oil.” This is quite interesting. Someone said to the Prophet, “My huaband is dead, he died in debt, a creditor wants to take my children to be slaves and I want you to help me.” Then she gets this reply; “What do you have?” This is the principle the banks use today. They call it equity contribution. If you invest nothing you reap nothing.
The principle of empowerment is that of investing. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:6, “Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” Also in 1 Kings 17:9-24, the widow of Zarephath did something with the little food she had left and she received divine provision. In Acts 1:13-14, the early disciples devoted themselves and their time to prayer and they were divinely empowered! WHAT ARE YOU INVESTING IN THE SPIRITUAL? WHAT ARE YOU DEVOTING YOURSELF TO? Pray Psalm 34.
