NATIONAL YOUTH WEEK 2026

"That I may know Him..." — Philippians 3:10

As part of the National Youth Week celebration, our Youth Representative from Sacred Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Oke Ola Parish, Edun-Abon, Preacher Oguntoye Aanuoluwapo, was privileged to minister during a pulpit exchange at Sacred Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Sekona, under Edun-Abon DCC.

Ministering on the topic "Know God," he reminded the congregation that there is a significant difference between knowing about God and truly knowing God.

Many people know Bible stories, attend church services, sing in the choir, wear church garments, and even occupy leadership positions. Yet, beyond religious activities, God desires an intimate relationship with every believer.

The Apostle Paul, despite all his spiritual accomplishments, still declared in Philippians 3:10, "That I may know Him." This teaches us that the pursuit of knowing God is lifelong and should remain the heartbeat of every Christian.

To know God is to:
✨ Walk with Him daily.
✨ Hear His voice.
✨ Obey His Word.
✨ Trust Him completely.
✨ Live in close fellowship with Him.

Those who truly know God enjoy His strength, peace, divine direction, wisdom, protection, provision, spiritual growth, answered prayers, and the assurance of eternal life.

However, sin, pride, worldliness, and a lack of spiritual hunger can hinder our relationship with Him.

As Jeremiah 9:23–24 reminds us, our greatest boast should not be in wisdom, might, or riches, but in understanding and knowing the Lord.

May this message inspire us all to seek God more deeply, love Him more sincerely, and walk with Him more closely every day.

Today, we joyfully celebrate our Youth Anniversary with hearts full of gratitude to God. This theme is a reminder that no matter our background, challenges, or limitations, when God is involved, impossibilities bow.

As youths, we are called to trust God beyond our strength, dreams, and understanding. Through Him, visions are birthed, destinies are preserved, and lives are transformed.

We pray that this celebration strengthens our faith, renews our hope, and ignites a deeper passion to walk with God in all things.

Happy Youth Anniversary to us all!
