Aligning the Church with Divine Purpose

From the very beginning, God has possessed a precise architectural plan and divine purpose for the Church. Though He originally created humanity for intimate fellowship, the enemy intervened, breaking that communion through sin. Yet, God’s sovereign plan was not thwarted; He immediately established a divine means of restoration.
Throughout redemptive history, God’s deep longing has been to dwell among His people. From the tabernacle in the wilderness to the temple in Jerusalem, God gave strict architectural instructions regarding the building materials—every single one of which pointed prophetically to Jesus Christ.
The will of God is progressive. We see this unfolding across biblical history, moving from the tabernacle era to temple worship, and ultimately into the "unfolding period" of the New Covenant. This transition was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14 and Micah 5:2–3, which foretold the virgin birth—the grand entry into this new era.
Following His crucifixion and resurrection, the glorified Christ ascended and gave gifts to men (Ephesians 4:10–11). These structural gifts—the five-fold ministry—were intentionally designed to bring the Church into the unity of the faith.
