📍 WHAT IS WATCHFUL?
Being alert, spiritually awake, and extra careful in all we do.
As children of God, we must be extra watchful.

WAYS ONE CAN BE WATCHFUL
1. Inner- Guard your heart and thoughts. _Proverbs 4:23_
2. Outer - Watch your friends and associations. _1 Corinthians 15:33_
3. Spiritual - Stay prayerful and alert to the enemy’s tricks. _1 Peter 5:8_

HOW TO STAY WATCHFUL
📍 Pray always _1 Thess 5:17_
📍 Read God’s Word _Psalm 119:11_
📍 Follow the Holy Spirit _John 16:13_
📍 Keep godly friends _Hebrews 10:25_

CONCLUSION
📍 If we are not watchful, we become an instrument of unrighteousness. _Romans 6:13_
📍 Our character can change and we miss God's purpose for our lives.

KEY_ POINTS
* Thy word as light simply means Jesus Christ, because Jesus christ is the word himself.
* The word gives light in our life that is, if we allow the word of God into our heart.
* The word of God gives understanding to simple persons or people.
* Without the word of God we are in darkness.
* When you know the word satan can't fight against you.( John 8 verse 12)
* If you don't have the word of God in your life or heart you will live in darkness and in darkness you will be decieve.
