The True Purpose of Prayer
The main reason why we pray is beyond prayer points. If all our petitions for financial breakthroughs, marital settlement, increased capacity, and spiritual power were suddenly answered, what would remain of our prayer life? What would we pray for?
The primary aim of prayer is knowing God. Because He is infinite, this pursuit of knowing Him cannot be exhausted, even in eternity. When we transit from time into eternity, prayer continues. Phil. 3:10
Ultimately, prayer remains a deliberate, spiritual act of continuous communication and intimacy with God.
