๐ฟ PALM SUNDAY 2026 โ CREATIVE REFLECTION ๐ฟ
Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ikot Ansa Parish (Action Parish)
29th March, 2026
The road into Jerusalem was not paved with gold, yet it became sacred the moment palms touched the ground. Not because of the leaves, but because of the hearts that laid them down.
Today, we gather not as spectators of history,
But as participants in a living story. With palms in our hands and purpose in our hearts, we echo the cry of a generation that still believes:
โHosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lordโ
But beyond the waving of branches lies a deeper call: A call to surrender, To lay down not just palms, but pride, fear, doubt, and distractions.
For what is Palm Sunday, if not an invitation
To make room for the King in the streets of our lives?
At Action Parish, we are reminded:
Faith is not passive; it moves.
It walks the dusty roads.
It praises in uncertainty.
It celebrates even when the cross is near.
For the same crowd that shouted Hosanna
Would soon face the silence of Good Friday.
Yet, in that contrast lies our truth.
That real faith is not seasonal, it is steadfast.
So today, let your palm be more than a symbol,
Let it be a declaration:
That Christ reigns not only in songs,
But in your choices, your service, your love, and your obedience.
May your life become the road He triumphantly enters.
May your heart remain open beyond the celebration.
And may your praise today echo into a life fully yielded.
Hosanna in the highest! ๐ฟ
