IKOT EFA AREA TOUR
DAY TWO – IKOT ABASI OBORI DISTRICT
The visit of the Area Executive was aimed at encouraging members of ikot abasi obori district to work hand-in-hand with the district Pastor for the growth of the Church. Members were also exhorted to prioritize attendance and active participation in all church activities.

‎Speaker: Pst. E. B. Eyo (Area Superintendent)
‎Interpreter: Pst. O. B. Akiba
‎Topic: Obedience In Service, The Key To Prosperity
‎Texts: Job 36:11, Deuteronomy 11:13, Matt. 6:24, Acts 7:10

‎Brethren the message for us today is about Obedience to God. It is for those who believes in Christ; therefore if we obey Christ whom we believe in, our daily lives shall be in prosperity.

‎Obedience is a must to believers of Christ, cause no one is bigger than it, hence the prosperity we seek for will only manifest only if we humble ourselves and obey.

‎Abraham obeyed and never questioned God, but executed every instructions from God, he did all God commanded him (which in this context is Obedience In Service), and God made him promises which at the appointed time were manifested.

‎It is pertinent to know that each time we disobey, it delays and scatters the days of our prosperity.

‎Our God is a jealous God (Matt. 6:24), if you don't obey Him, you are against Him and this gets Him really jealous.

‎As believers, God has assured us eternal life if only we believe, obey and serve Him with all our individual capability.

‎Worthy to note that most of the miracles Christ did were benefited by those who first obeyed His instructions/command.

‎God knows what's best for us all, He is only waiting for you to obey Him and this will move Him into action of blessing. He is willing to to provide only if you obey Him diligently.

‎Our God is not unjust to forget our labour for the glory of His name, He will bless and reward us if we obey Him always.

‎Conclusively, where ever you find yourself in life, ensure you serve God and obey Him at all times. Be not like King Saul who rather obeyed the voice of people than that of God; for obedience is better than sacrifice.

11TH IKOT EFA AREA CONVENTION
DAY3: FAREWELL SERVICE

Word Ministration:

Speaker: Pst. Odionka Nyong (Field Finance Secretary)
Interpreter: Deacon Edet Ekpo

Theme: The Lord Shall Reign For Ever and Ever
Sub-Theme: His Second Coming,Our Blessed Hope

Notes:
Brethren, no much emphasis or prolonged talk tonight but to reassure you all that you shall see you expected end; because Jesus shall reign forever.

The second coming of Christ is a situation of which people, even most Christians don't believe in anymore. But beloved, whether you like it or not, believe it or not, Christ shall come back again and shall rule forever.

Satisfaction comes with the understanding that Christ will definitely come again, and desperations for earthly things even positions in the church through an unholy way is vanity. Allowing the fear of God to depart from you due to the believe that He is not coming back again, might have led you to doing things you ought not to do (even in the church) which are all things and thoughts you must turn back from, because at the appointed time of God, Jesus shall come again.

When Christ ascended, the multitude watched while He was ascending, same way shall a greater multitude on good day watch Him descend just the way He ascended (Acts 1:11).

Our Blessed Hope, is no other one than He who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for Himself (regarding His Second Coming). And He is Christ, that shall come again.

A great Convention is coming for the entire believers who possess the blessed hope of Christ second coming.

Every man and woman who has an encounter with Christ, and believes in Him and His second coming, shall inherit the everlasting life promised in John 3:16.

So brethren continue keeping the blessed hope alive, a hope of everlasting life, a hope to meet with Christ when He shall come again to reign forever and ever.
