🌿 WELCOME, BLESSED SABBATH! 🌿

As the Sabbath draws near, may we pause from the burdens, pressures, and cares of the week and place them at the feet of our Master and Teamster—Jesus Christ. 🙏🏽

There are moments when life feels heavy, when responsibilities seem overwhelming, and when our hearts become weary from carrying more than we were created to bear. But the Sabbath reminds us that we do not have to carry everything alone.

Jesus invites us:

> “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

The Sabbath is more than the end of another week; it is a divine appointment for repose, renewal, and restoration. It is a sacred opportunity to lay down our worries, silence the noise, reconnect with God, worship Him, and allow His presence to refresh our souls.

Whatever burden you carried this week, leave it at His feet.
Whatever care has troubled your heart, give it to Him.
Whatever battle you faced, trust Him with the outcome.

May this Sabbath bring peace to your heart, strength to your spirit, healing to your soul, and renewed hope for the days ahead.

🕊️ Happy Sabbath!
May we experience the rest, renewal, and restoration that can only be found in Christ.

A Prayer for Nepal

Today our hearts are with Nepal.

A devastating flash flood tore through Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts on August 26, 2026. The death toll has risen to 469, with hundreds more missing, homes swept away, schools and hospitals damaged, and over 17,000 children in urgent need of help. Entire communities along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers have been cut off, and a fresh flood risk warning has been issued.

Let us Pray

Heavenly Father,
We lift up the people of Nepal to You.
Comfort every family grieving a loved one. Hold the children who are afraid, hungry, and displaced.
Bring strength to the rescue teams, doctors, and volunteers working day and night.
Provide shelter, clean water, food, and healing to those who have lost everything.
Let hope rise where there is devastation, and let Your peace guard hearts that are broken.
We pray for protection from further floods and for wisdom for leaders as they respond.
May the world stand with Nepal in love and support during this time.
