Nervousness during preaching is common, even among experienced preachers. Here are some tips to help manage your nerves:

1. Prepare Thoroughly

2. Focus on Your Message
- Shift Focus: Instead of worrying about how you're coming across, focus on the message you're delivering.
- Remember Your Purpose: You're sharing God's word, not trying to impress anyone.

3. Breathing and Relaxation Techniques
- Take Deep Breaths: Before you start, take a few deep breaths to calm your nerves.
- Relax Your Body: Release tension in your shoulders, hands, and facial muscles.

4. Connect with Your Audience
- Make Eye Contact: Engage with your congregation, making eye contact with friendly faces.
- Speak from the Heart: Share your passion and genuine feelings.

5. Pray and Seek Support
- Pray Beforehand: Ask God for guidance, peace, and clarity.
- Seek Feedback: Ask trusted friends or mentors for constructive feedback.

Additional Tips
- Start Small: If you're new, start with smaller groups or less formal settings.
- Be Yourself: Authenticity helps build trust with your audience.
- Learn from Experience: Reflect on past experiences, identifying what worked and what didn't.

Remember, nervousness can be a sign that you're stepping out of your comfort zone and trusting God. With time and practice, you'll become more confident.

ANCHOR TEXT: Genesis 7:11-16; Isaiah 45:8; Malachi 3:10-12; Matthew 3:13-16;.

I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. –NIV.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Repackaging the reinforcement of open doors is the rebranding of our testimony about the same old opportunity from God. It is what and how we say that repackages our testimony of open doors and reinforces us to walk in them.
KNOWING THE TRUTH:
Testimony of open doors is the assurance we have that an opportunity of blessing is really from God with the following principles;
God’s open doors will never contradict His Word - @@@@@@; 2Cor. 6:14.
God’s open doors will be accompanied by confirmation in the Spirit – 1sam. 30:8; Mk. 16:20.
God’s open doors will require us to depend on Him – Prov. 3:5-6.

SOBER REFLECTION:
We can take our opportunity of open doors to God ask for confirmation to walk through them.

There are many blessings that come as a result of walking in the light when our fellowship is reinforced on Jesus and the direction of our lives are pointed toward God’s will for us as we enjoy a bond of fellowship with one another and the knowledge that we have eternal life (1John 5:13).
