OCTOBER DEVOTION
DAY 8

*KEEP KNOCKING*

Have you ever prayed about something for so long that you began to wonder if God was listening?
You prayed.
You waited.
You prayed again.
Still, nothing seemed to change.
Today's Gospel gives us a beautiful reminder:
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.”
Luke 11:9
Jesus is teaching us something important about prayer.
Do not give up simply because the answer has not come yet.
Sometimes God changes the situation.
Sometimes He changes us while we wait.
Sometimes the answer comes in a way we never expected.
And sometimes, what we receive first is the grace to keep trusting Him.
The Rosary teaches us this beautiful discipline of returning to God again and again.
So today, bring that intention back to Jesus.
That family situation.
That health concern.
That unanswered prayer.
That child you are worried about.
That decision you need wisdom for.
That burden you have carried for too long.
Keep knocking.
Not because God is reluctant to answer, but because prayer keeps our hearts open to His grace.
And as Jesus tells us, the Father knows how to give good things to His children. Above all, He gives us the Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide us.

*PRAYER*
Heavenly Father, teach me to trust You even when I cannot see the answer. Give me the grace to keep asking, keep seeking and keep knocking. Strengthen my faith, fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and help me to surrender my will to Yours. Through the intercession of Mary, Our Mother, keep me faithful in prayer. Amen.

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, pray for us.

_Today's challenge_ : Take one prayer intention that you have almost given up on and bring it before God again today.
Ask. Seek. Knock. Keep believing.

OCTOBER DEVOTION | DAY 7

OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY

Today is a beautiful day in the life of the Church.

We celebrate Our Lady of the Rosary, and the Gospel gives us a simple but profound request from the disciples:

«“Lord, teach us to pray.”
Luke 11:1»

They did not ask Jesus to teach them how to perform miracles.

They did not ask Him how to become famous.

They asked Him to teach them how to pray.

And Jesus gave them the prayer we know so well:

Our Father...

What a beautiful reminder for us today.

Prayer is not about finding perfect words.
Prayer is about coming before our Father with trust.

We bring Him our needs.
We ask for forgiveness.
We learn to forgive others.
We ask for strength against temptation.
We surrender our lives to His will.

And today, as we celebrate Mary under the beautiful title of Our Lady of the Rosary, let us remember that the Rosary always leads us back to Jesus.

Mary does not take the place of Jesus.

She leads us to Him.

She teaches us, by her own life, what it means to say, “Let it be done to me according to your word.”

Today's invitation:

Pray the Rosary slowly today.

Do not rush through the beads.

As you pray each mystery, place a person, a family, a burden, a thanksgiving or a special intention before God.

And after the Rosary, simply say:

“Lord, teach me to pray.”

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us.

Jesus, teach us to pray.

OCTOBER DEVOTION | DAY 6

DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU
📖 John 2:5

At the wedding in Cana, Mary noticed the need and brought it to Jesus. Then she told the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”

Today, Mary teaches us to listen, trust, and obey. Sometimes God asks us to forgive, reach out, give, apologise, or step out in faith even when it is difficult.

As we pray the Rosary today, let us ask Mary to help us recognise God’s voice and give us the courage to follow His will.

🙏🏽 Let us pray:
Lord Jesus, help me to hear Your voice, trust You, and obey Your will. Through Mary’s intercession, grant me the grace to say yes to You each day. Amen.

🌹 Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, pray for us.

❤️ Today’s Challenge:
Do one thing today that you know God is asking of you.

Listen. Trust. Obey.
“Do whatever He tells you.”

OCTOBER DEVOTION | DAY 5
GO AND DO LIKEWISE
Today, the Church gives us the beautiful story of the Good Samaritan.
A man was beaten, wounded and left half dead by the roadside. Others saw him, but they passed by.
Then a Samaritan came along.
He saw him, was moved with compassion, went to him, cared for his wounds and made sure he received help.
Jesus then asks us to do the same.
“Go and do likewise.”
Luke 10:37
As we journey through this month of the Holy Rosary, let us remember that prayer must change the way we live.

It is possible to pray the Rosary and still walk past someone who needs our kindness.
It is possible to attend Mass and still refuse to forgive.
It is possible to know the Scriptures and still fail to show compassion.
Our devotion must produce love.
Today, don't only pray for someone.
Do something for someone.
Call the person who needs encouragement.
Visit someone who is lonely.
Forgive someone.
Give what you can.
Help someone without waiting to be celebrated.
And when you pray your Rosary today, ask Mary to help you see people with the compassionate heart of Jesus.

Let us pray:
Lord Jesus, open my eyes to see those who need me. Give me a compassionate heart and the courage to love not only in words but in deeds. Through the intercession of Mary, help me become a channel of Your mercy wherever I go. Amen.

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, pray for us.

Today's challenge: Be someone's Good Samaritan.

*OCTOBER DEVOTION | DAY 4*

*BE KIND. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IS CARRYING*.

As we pray the Rosary this October, let us remember that our faith is not only expressed in the prayers we say, but also in the way we treat people.

Someone may be smiling today and still be fighting a battle you know nothing about.
Someone may need encouragement.
Someone may need forgiveness.
Someone may simply need someone to listen.
Today, let your prayer produce an action.
Speak kindly.
Forgive someone.
Check on someone.
Help someone.
Encourage someone.
Jesus reminds us:
“Love one another as I have loved you.”
John 15:12

Today's prayer:
Lord Jesus, make my heart more like Yours. Help me to see people with compassion, to forgive freely, and to become a source of peace and encouragement wherever I go. Through the intercession of Mary, teach me to love as You have loved me. Amen.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
Today's challenge: Before the day ends, do one intentional act of kindness for someone.

*OCTOBER DEVOTION | DAY 3*

LET GOD CARRY IT!

Sometimes, we pray but still carry everything as though everything depends on us.
The worries.
The family concerns.
The bills.
The unanswered prayers.
The things we cannot control.
Today, pause and remember:
God has not asked you to carry what He has asked you to surrender
“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7

As we journey through this month of the Holy Rosary, let every prayer become an act of trust.
When you pray today, don't just ask God to change your situation.
Ask Him to change your heart, strengthen your faith, and give you the grace to trust Him while you wait.

🙏 Today's prayer:
Lord Jesus, I surrender to You the things I cannot control. Through the intercession of Mary, Your Mother and ours, give me the grace to trust You completely. Calm my heart, strengthen my faith, and help me remember that I am never alone. Amen.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You.
Today, surrender one burden to God and leave it in His hands.

DEVOTION | DAY 2

*MAKE TIME FOR GOD*

One of the greatest challenges of our time is not that we do not believe in God.
It is that we are often too busy to spend time with Him.
We make time for work.
We make time for our phones.
We make time for conversations.
We make time for almost everything.
But what about prayer?
This October, let us make a conscious decision to create space for God.

Pray the Rosary.
Read a few verses of Scripture.
Spend a few quiet minutes with Jesus.
Thank God for His goodness.

You do not need a perfect schedule to pray.
Start with what you have. Start where you are. Start today.
As we continue our October devotion, may the Blessed Virgin Mary teach us to treasure prayer and lead us ever closer to her Son, Jesus.

Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us.
🙏 Lord Jesus, teach us to pray.
What is one prayer intention you are placing before God today?

Let Us Pray
O Holy and Eternal God, in whom Mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your Mercy in us so that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent, but with increasing confidence, submit ourselves to your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.
