PLATEAU STATE YOUTH MISSION VISION
Reaching, Discipling and Raising the Next Generation for Christ
Dear Friend, Family Member, and Kingdom Partner,
Good evening, sir/ma.
I feel a strong burden in my heart to formally share with you what God is helping us to accomplish in Plateau State, particularly among young people.
On 16th January 2026, after relocating to Bukuru, Jos South Local Government Area, we began seeking God's direction concerning the assignment He was giving us in this region. As we prayed and followed His leading, God opened a remarkable door for us through the Plateau State Ministry of Education.
We applied for permission to reach secondary school students across Plateau State, and by God's grace and favour, we were granted approval to begin with 11 Local Government Areas, with the remaining six Local Government Areas to follow as the work progresses.
This is more than an opportunity to visit schools.
We believe it is a divine door to an entire generation.
OUR BURDEN
Our burden is simple but enormous:
To reach young people with the Gospel, disciple them in the ways of Christ, equip them with godly values, discover and develop their potential, and raise them to become missionaries, evangelists, kingdom leaders and instruments for the fulfilment of God's end-time purpose.
We are therefore not approaching this assignment merely as a school outreach programme. We see it as a long-term discipleship and missionary formation assignment.
Through our secondary school outreach, we engage students with relevant teachings on faith, purpose, character, discipline, wise decisions, relationships, social influence and other issues affecting their lives and future.
But we are going beyond the classroom.
We are establishing and strengthening Bible Clubs where young people can encounter God's Word, grow spiritually and receive continuous discipleship.
We are also using football and other relational platforms to connect with young people who may not immediately respond to conventional church or evangelistic programmes.
Our desire is to use every legitimate avenue God provides to reach them, build relationships with them, disciple them and point them to Jesus Christ.
THE OPPORTUNITY BEFORE US
The door is open.
The schools are there.
The young people are there.
The permission has been granted.
The burden is burning in our hearts.
But there is one major challenge:
The harvest is much greater than what one person can accomplish alone.
I have come to understand more deeply that no one achieves significant kingdom impact alone.
Every great assignment requires people who will pray, people who will give, people who will serve, people who will mobilize others, and people who will stand behind the vision.
That is why I am reaching out to you.
WE NEED PARTNERS
We are looking for individuals, families, churches, organizations and friends of the mission who will stand with us as prayer and resource partners for this assignment.
The need is enormous.
There are many schools to reach. There are many communities to travel to. There are students who need encouragement and direction. There are discipleship materials to produce. There are trained volunteers and resource persons to mobilize. There are Bible Clubs to establish and sustain.
At this stage, finance is one of our greatest needs.
We desire to recruit and mobilize competent men and women who have a genuine burden for young people and who can join us in taking this vision across the Local Government Areas. We also need resources for transportation, teaching materials, outreach materials, training, volunteer mobilization and the establishment of sustainable discipleship structures.
Unfortunately, we do not currently have sufficient resources to do all that this open door requires.
But we believe that the God who opened the door will raise the people He has prepared to help us walk through it.
WHAT WE ARE ASKING FROM YOU
We are not asking you merely to support a programme.
We are inviting you to become part of a generational assignment.
You can partner with us in several ways:
1. PRAY WITH US
Please pray that God will give us wisdom, strength, favour and the right people for this assignment.
Pray that the young people we encounter will genuinely encounter Christ.
Pray for protection as we travel across different communities and Local Government Areas.
Pray that God will raise labourers who will join us.
And above all, pray that the resources required for this assignment will be provided.
2. SUPPORT THE WORK FINANCIALLY
Every journey to a school, every teaching material produced, every volunteer mobilized and every discipleship activity requires resources.
Your financial partnership, whether large or small, can help us reach another school, equip another Bible Club, mobilize another volunteer or provide materials that will influence the life of a young person.
3. CONNECT US WITH PEOPLE
If you know individuals, churches, ministries, organizations or Christian professionals who have a burden for young people, missions, evangelism and discipleship, we would be grateful if you could introduce them to this vision.
4. JOIN THE VISION
If you have the capacity, skills, experience or spiritual burden to serve young people, there may be a place for you within this assignment.
We need teachers.
We need evangelists.
We need mentors.
We need counsellors.
We need trainers.
We need administrators.
We need media personnel.
We need resource persons.
And we need people who simply carry a genuine burden for the next generation.
OUR PRAYER
Our prayer is that Plateau State will not merely produce another generation of young people who pass through school.
We desire to see a generation that knows Christ, understands purpose, lives with godly values and carries the Gospel beyond their immediate environment.
We want to see students become disciples.
We want to see disciples become soul winners.
We want to see soul winners become missionaries.
And we want to see missionaries become instruments through whom other nations and generations are reached.
This is the vision.
The assignment is massive, but we are convinced that the grace of God is greater than the magnitude of the assignment.
God has already given us the open door.
Now we are praying for the labourers, resources and strategic partners who will help us maximize that door.

I sincerely ask you to pray about this assignment.
If God lays it upon your heart to partner with us, we would be deeply grateful.
Your partnership may become part of a story that you may never fully see on this side of eternity—but a story written in the lives of young people whose destinies were redirected because someone chose to stand with the work.
We cannot do this alone.
But together, with God's help, we can reach more young people, disciple more lives and raise a generation of kingdom-minded men and women who will carry the Gospel to their communities, their nation and the nations of the world.
