Relationship Sunday❤️

Topic: Exercising Wisdom, Love and Faith in Marriage & Relationships

Key Text: 2 Timothy 1:7

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

God has given us the ability to approach relationships with love, wisdom, self-control, courage and a sound mind, rather than allowing fear, emotions or past experiences to control us.

Ways to Exercise Wisdom and Love in Marriage

1. Commitment

Marriage requires intentional commitment. Love is not only about how we feel. It is also about choosing to remain faithful, present and willing to work through challenges.

2. Self-Control

Wisdom requires the ability to control our reactions, words and emotions, especially during conflict.

3. Humility

Humility means being willing to listen, admit when we are wrong, apologize and learn from one another.

4. Trusting God

Proverbs 3:6

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Fear may tell you to give up, but faith reminds you that God is still in control.
This Sunday, come and be reminded that you don’t have to face life alone. Whatever you’re trusting God for, whatever has been keeping you up at night, bring it to Him.

Choose faith. Trust God. Refuse to fear. There is still hope because God is with you.
