St. Mark's Anglican Church, Abalamabie Parish, Bonny, successfully celebrated her 2026 Media Sunday Service, in an atmosphere of joyful worship, thanksgiving, and reflection on the role of media in advancing God's Kingdom.

The Guest Speaker, Mr. Herbert M. G. Pepple, delivered a thought-provoking message on the topic: "Discipling the Digital Generation: Faith, Family and Ministry in the Age of Social Media and AI." He encouraged Christians to embrace digital platforms responsibly, uphold biblical values, and intentionally use technology and social media as tools for evangelism, discipleship, and positive influence.

One of the major highlights of the service was the special thanksgiving by the Church Media Team, who returned all glory to God for His faithfulness, grace, and sustenance in their ministry.

In his remarks, the Vicar expressed heartfelt appreciation to the leadership and members of the Church Media Team for their unwavering commitment, dedication, and consistency in ensuring that the Gospel continues to reach people through various media platforms. He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their service to God and humanity.

It was indeed a glorious and impactful Media Sunday celebration, reminding all worshippers of the responsibility to use every available platform to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.

To God be all the glory!

We return all glory, honour and adoration to God Almighty for a successful Sunday Eucharistic Service and Thanksgiving/Praise Service which marked the grand finale of our Mid-Year Revival Program "Operation Conquer 2026" with the theme: "The Master Is Here" (John 11:28).

The service was filled with powerful praise and worship, heartfelt thanksgiving, Holy Communion, fervent prayers, and a mighty move of God. Lives were blessed, souls were uplifted, and worshippers encountered God's presence through salvation, healing, breakthrough, and divine impartation.

The service also featured a special thanksgiving by the Jack Manilla Pepple Chieftaincy House, as they offered gratitude to God for His goodness, faithfulness, and abundant blessings upon the family and household.

There was also a thanksgiving by the June Celebrants, who joyfully returned all glory to God for the gift of life, good health, and His grace throughout their birth month.

During the service, the 2026 Harvest Planning Committee officially announced the Harvest dates as follows:
• Harvest Declaration / Harvest of Praise – 2nd August
• Diocesan Harvest – 16th August
• Children Harvest – 23rd August
• Youth Harvest – 20th September
• Divine Group Harvest – 11th October
• Peculiar Group Harvest – 18th October
• Royal Group Harvest – 25th October
• All Compound Harvest – 1st November
• Main Harvest – 15th November
It was also announced that all Family Harvests will commence after the Harvest Declaration.

We appreciate our ministers, invited guests, workers, and every member who contributed to making the service a success. May the blessings and grace received continue to strengthen us as we move into the second half of the year in victory.

"Jesus Christ is Lord Forever."
