Easter is the celebration of life over darkness. It is a current reality that every Christian is to experience, it's not just a history.
They were guards protecting Jesus's grave in order for his body not to be taken away, but on the third he was no longer there he had changed his address, from the Grave to heaven.
When Mary and other people came to look for the body of Jesus, behold there was no one. They only saw a linen and a man which was an angel and he said to them "Why are you looking for the Living among the dead.

"The last words of a dying man is very important, Love is the greatest commandment given to man by Christ, thereby not giving any room for hatred or envy. The washing of feet of the disciples taken which is reciprocated by the Priest symbolizes the love Christ showed for us all. Having an event as such and sharing the his last meal on earth with his disciples shows humanity and love which he wants us all to display in abundance.
