itle: Giving That Pleases the Heart of God
Text: Genesis 4:1–7
Date: March 22, 2026
Introduction
The theme “Giving That Pleases the Heart of God” draws its foundation from Genesis 4:1–7, a passage that presents the offerings of Cain and Abel. This scripture reveals that God does not merely look at the outward act of giving, but at the condition of the heart behind the gift. True giving is measured by sincerity, faith, and righteousness.

Theme: Don’t Be Like an Empty VesselBible Text: Luke 11:24–27

Date: March 15, 2026

IntroductionThe message from Luke 11:24–27 gives a strong warning to believers and the entire Christian community about the danger of spiritual emptiness. In this passage, Jesus teaches that a life that has been cleansed from evil but left empty can easily become worse than before. Therefore, Christians are encouraged not only to remove sin from their lives but also to fill their hearts with the Word of God, righteousness, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Background of the MessageAccording to the teaching of Jesus in Luke 11:24–27, when an unclean spirit leaves a person, it goes through dry places seeking rest. When it finds none, it decides to return to the person it left. If it returns and finds the “house” swept and well arranged but empty, it goes to bring seven other spirits more wicked than itself. They enter and live there, and the final condition of that person becomes worse than the first.

This illustration explains the spiritual condition of many people who experience temporary transformation but fail to maintain a deep relationship with God.

Key Message: Do Not Be an Empty VesselThe central lesson from this passage is that believers must not allow their lives to remain spiritually empty. An empty heart is vulnerable and can easily be occupied by negative influences such as sin, temptation, and spiritual weakness.

Jesus emphasizes that the real blessing comes not from outward appearance or temporary change but from hearing the Word of God and obeying it. A believer who consistently follows God’s Word will remain spiritually strong and protected.

Spiritual ImplicationsThe message highlights several important spiritual truths:

Deliverance alone is not enough.A person may be freed from sin or bad habits, but if the heart is not filled with God’s presence, the old problems can return.

Spiritual growth must continue.Christians are encouraged to grow through prayer, studying the Bible, and living in obedience to God.

The heart must be filled with righteousness.A life filled with the Holy Spirit, faith, and good works leaves no room for evil influences.

True blessing comes through obedience.Jesus concluded that those who hear the Word of God and keep it are truly blessed.

Call to ActionChurch leaders and believers are encouraged to take this message seriously by strengthening their spiritual lives through regular prayer, fellowship, Bible study, and obedience to God’s commands. The Christian life should not be a temporary change but a continuous commitment to living according to God’s will.

ConclusionThe theme “Don’t Be Like an Empty Vessel” serves as a reminder that a clean life without God’s presence is not enough. Every believer must intentionally fill his or her life with God’s Word, faith, and righteousness. When the heart is filled with God, there will be no room for spiritual emptiness or the return of evil influences.

THEME: “Jesus Loves Us – Love Your Enemies”
TEXT: 1 John 4:7–11
Introduction
The message of love is the central teaching of the Christian faith. In the Bible passage 1 John 4:7–11, believers are reminded that love comes from God and that everyone who loves is born of God and knows Him. This scripture emphasizes that God revealed His love to humanity through Jesus Christ. Therefore, as followers of Christ, Christians are called not only to love their friends and families but also to love their enemies.
