Through his Khutbahs, reminders and teachings, our respected Imam continues to remind us about Allah, Ṣalah, good character, knowledge, responsibility and the reality of the Hereafter. His words are not merely heard on Fridays; they are reminders that we should carry with us throughout the week.

Today, we celebrate a scholar who continues to dedicate his voice and knowledge to guiding the Muslim Ummah within our institution.

INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAYHI RAJIʿUN

With profound sadness, the MSSN WUFPBK Chapter extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, classmates and colleagues of Sadiq Sa'idu, an HND II student of the Department of Statistics, who has returned to the mercy of Allah (SWT).

He had completed his academic programme and was awaiting his Project Defence, but his appointment with Allah came before that day. This is indeed a painful reminder that death does not wait for anyone, nor does it distinguish between the young and the old, the student and the graduate, or the one who has completed his plans and the one who has not.
His passing should remind us all of the reality of this life. We make plans for tomorrow, but tomorrow is never guaranteed. Therefore, let us use our time wisely, strengthen our relationship with Allah, seek forgiveness, perform our prayers, and always be prepared to return to our Creator.

Dear Muslim students, let this be a lesson for all of us. Our academic achievements, projects, examinations and future plans are important, but our preparation for the Hereafter is even more important.

O Allah, forgive Sadiq Sa'idu, have mercy upon him, pardon his shortcomings, illuminate and widen his grave, make his grave a garden from the gardens of Jannah, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus as his final destination.
May Allah grant his family, friends and colleagues Sabr and strength during this difficult moment.
And for those of us who are still alive, may Allah grant us a righteous life, keep us firm upon His path, and grant us a good ending when our appointed time comes.
O Allah, grant us a good ending and take our lives while You are pleased with us.

FRIDAY KHUTBAH | WUFPBK JUMU'AT MASJID

Alhamdulillah. Today, Friday 8th Rabi'ul-Awwal 1448 AH / 21st August 2026, we bring you highlights from the Jumu'at Khutbah delivered by Sheikh Muhammad Rabi'u Tafawabalewa, Imam and Khadib of WUFPBK Jumu'at Masjid, Birnin Kebbi.
Topic: The Adhan (Call to Prayer)
In today's sermon, the Imam highlighted the importance and virtues of the Adhān, explaining what a Muslim should say when the Adhan is being called and the Du'a to be recited after the Adhan.
He also reminded the Muslim Ummah of the great reward associated with the Adhān and encouraged Muslims to understand its significance and respond to it correctly.

May Allah (SWT) make us among those who observe the Adhan, respond to it properly, and preserve our prayers with sincerity.
اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنَا وَوَفِّقْنَا لِطَاعَتِكَ وَأَدَاءِ الصَّلَاةِ
May Allah accept our acts of worship and grant us steadfastness upon the Sunnah
