REPORT ON THE SUCCESSFUL COMMUNITY MEDICAL & EYE CARE OUTREACH
The Sheikh Abubakar Yabagi Efuturi RTA Foundation (SAYEF) successfully conducted a Community Medical and Eye Care Outreach on 27th September 2026, as the first day of the two-day Maulidin Nabiy ﷺ programme organized in honour of the legacy of Sheikh Abubakar Yabagi Efuturi RTA.
The outreach was organized in conjunction with Springlight Rescue Vision Initiative, with the aim of providing basic healthcare, eye-care services, health education and compassionate support to members of the community.
The programme featured medical consultations, basic health assessments, blood pressure and other vital-sign checks, eye screening, health education, treatment guidance and referrals where necessary. Community members from different age groups participated and benefited from the services provided.
Beyond the medical services, the outreach served as a practical expression of gratitude to Allah ﷻ and an effort to embody the Rahmah (mercy) associated with the blessed example of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ through service to humanity.
