SHOWERS OF BLESSING SERVICE - 4/10/2026

THEME OF THE MONTH: MY COMFORTER IS HERE
Teaching Series: Understanding The Ministry of The Holy Spirit (Part 1)
Anchor Scripture: John 14:26

Today's Showers of Blessing Service was a most enlightening and refreshing time in God's presence, as we received deep insight into the Person and Ministry of the Holy Spirit and our access to the blessings of God in Christ.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TEACHING:

1. The Holy Spirit Grants Us Access to God:
He is our divine access to all that God has ordained for us. He activates our spiritual connectivity and enables us to understand and partake of our inheritance in Christ.

2. Progress in the Kingdom Demands The Holy Spirit:
No believer can make meaningful Kingdom progress without the empowerment, guidance and enablement of the Holy Spirit.

3.The Holy Spirit Manifests Through Diverse Gifts: As stated in 1 Corinthians 12:5-7, spiritual gifts are distributed by the Holy Spirit for our profit and for the edification of the Body of Christ.

4. The Holy Spirit is a Person, Not a Force:
He is the indwelling presence of God in the believer, marking us out as distinct. _"...greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."_ - 1 John 4:4

INSIGHT: THE SPIRIT OF REVELATION & TRANSFORMATION
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Revelation; He illuminates our understanding and unveils the treasures embedded in the Word.
Our access determines our possession. Revelation births transformation when we move beyond hearing to believing and obeying the Word. - Isaiah 60:1-3

THE SHOWERS OF BLESSING
We were reminded that the blessing of the Lord cannot be reversed or cursed by the enemy - Numbers 23:20. It is all-encompassing, bringing prosperity, preservation, favour, fruitfulness and increase in every area of life. - Proverbs 10:22, Genesis 1:28

COVENANT RESPONSIBILITY:
To sustain the blessing, we are required to remain steadfast in our walk with God, be committed to Kingdom advancement, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and walk in obedience and faith. - Deuteronomy 28:1-3, Psalm 1:1-3

SPECIAL MOMENT IN SERVICE:
To the glory of God, new sets of Royal Chairs were unveiled and dedicated by our Resident Pastor, Pastor Emmanuel Olugbemi.

This development is aimed at improving seating comfort and convenience for all worshippers, while also augmenting the seating capacity of the Church auditorium.

Truly, God is beautifying His sanctuary.

We return all glory to God for a glorious service.

Jesus is Lord!

🌟 Unleashing Creative Wisdom for Financial Fortune! 🌟
Life is complex, and we cannot afford to navigate it without divine wisdom.

Today, during our Covenant Day of Financial Fortune, we learned that financial fortune requires far more than just physical resources—it takes divine wisdom to create wealth and the grace to sustain it.

Every child of God carries the mind deposit of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:14-16). When you are spiritual, you are not foolish; you possess the mind of Christ to make things work for you!

🔥 How to Stir Up the Mind of Christ (The Wisdom Deposit)

Engage in Quality Word Study and Search: The word of God is our ultimate guide in a confused world (Psalm 119:105, Isaiah 10:1-2).

Meditate in the Word: Deepen your roots like Joshua and Moses (Joshua 1:8, 1 Timothy 4:13-15).

Memorise and Practice the Word: Stop complaining, cram the word, and be a doer of it (Proverbs 4:20-21, James 1:22, John 13:17).

Give Yourself to Prayer: Don’t be too proud to ask God for help. Engage the altar of prayer and fasting when necessary (Jeremiah 33:3, Matthew 17:19-21).

Remain Focused: Keep your mind steadfast and avoid distractions (Proverbs 24:30-34, Daniel 9:2).

Be a Thinker: Cultivate creative thinking to build solutions (Proverbs 16:3, Psalm 100:4).

💡 Wisdom Keys for Financial Fortune
Engage Tirelessly in the Practice of the Covenant: Recognize that God is the one who gives you power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18).
Be Spiritually Minded: Align your thoughts and actions with the Spirit for life and peace (Romans 8:6).

Walk in Financial Integrity: Let honesty and integrity guard your financial dealings (Zechariah 5:1).

Stay Committed to Blessing Others: Walk in the Abrahamic covenant to be a blessing to your world (Genesis 12:1-3).

Keep Rejoicing: Maintain a joyful heart and covenant-based speech to sustain the flow of financial fortune.

Never Stop Being Grateful: “It is wisdom to be grateful. If you are not grateful, you will be a great fool!”

Remember: "When preparation meets opportunity, success is inevitable." Develop your skills, stay prepared, and walk in your divine heritage of creative wisdom this week!
