Alhamdulillah!!!
The judge has ruled that it is now compulsory for Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) to present Khalifa Sani between now and the 18th of this month so that he can be granted bail.
Therefore, we continue to call on our brothers and sisters to keep praying, asking Allah to let us reach that day and to bring back Khalifa safely, for the sake of the Prophet (S.A.W).

Babbar Kotun Tarayya Ta Umarci Wadanda Ake Kara da Su Su Bayyana Dalili a Shari’ar Sheikh Sani Abdulkadir Zaria

Wannan rahoto ya dogara ne da cikakken nazari da aka yi kan takardun shari’a na hukuma da aka shigar a Babbar Kotun Tarayya da ke Abuja, tare da sahihin hukuncin da Kotun ta yanke a Shari’a mai lamba FHC/ABJ/CS/55/2026.

Bayan duba takardun kotu da hukuncin da aka yanke, mun tabbatar da cewa a ranar 6 ga Fabrairu, 2026, Kotun ta umurci Wadanda ake kara da su da su bayyana cikin awanni 72 dalilin da ya sa ba za a amince da bukatun da Sheikh Sani Abdulkadir Zaria ya gabatar a cikin takardar neman hakkinsa ba. Haka kuma Kotun ta sanya ranar 12 ga Fabrairu, 2026 domin ci gaba da sauraron shari’ar.

Shari’ar ta shafi kare muƙaƙƙun haƙƙoƙin ɗan Adam na Sheikh Sani Abdulkadir Zaria, ciki har da haƙƙinsa na ’yancin kai (’yancin walwala), mutunci, samun adalci a kotu, da ’yancin zirga-zirga, kamar yadda Kundin Tsarin Mulkin Najeriya da kuma Yarjejeniyar Afirka kan Haƙƙin Dan Adam da Al’umma s**a tanada.

Kotun ta bayar da wannan umarni ne bayan ta duba rantsattun bayanai (affidavits) da hujjojin da aka gabatar a gabanta.
Mun kuma duba Counter Affidavit da Wanda ake kara na biyu ya shigar. A cikin wannan takarda, ya tabbatar da cewa ana tsare da Sheikh din ne saboda bincike da ake ci gaba da yi, tare da cewa akwai umarnin tsarewa wanda suke cewa har yanzu yana aiki. Sun kuma bayyana cewa binciken bai kammala ba.

Ko da yake batun tsaro abu ne mai muhimmanci, doka ba ta yarda a rika tsare mutum ba tare da sahihin dalili na doka ba na tsawon lokaci ba tare da iyaka ba. A Najeriya, kowane mutum na da haƙƙoƙin da Kundin Tsarin Mulki ya ba shi, kuma duk wata zargi dole ne a bi hanyoyin shari’a da doka

Federal High Court Orders Respondents to Show Cause in the Matter of Sheikh Sani Abdulkadir Zaria

This report is based on a careful review of the official court documents filed at the Federal High Court, Abuja, and the certified ruling delivered in Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/55/2026.

After examining the court papers and the ruling, we confirm that on 6th February 2026, the Court ordered the Respondents to explain within 72 hours why the requests made by Sheikh Sani Abdulkadir Zaria in his application should not be granted . The Court also fixed 12th February 2026 to continue hearing the matter .

The case is about the protection of Sheikh Sani Abdulkadir Zaria’s fundamental rights, including his right to personal liberty, dignity, fair hearing, and freedom of movement, as guaranteed by the Nigerian Constitution and the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

The Court made this order after reviewing sworn affidavits and submissions placed before it .

We have also reviewed the Counter Affidavit filed by the 2nd Respondent. In that document, the 2nd Respondent confirms that the Sheikh is in custody because of ongoing investigations and states that there is a detention order which they say is still valid . They also state that investigations are still continuing .

While security matters are important, the law does not allow anyone to be held indefinitely without proper legal justification. In Nigeria, every person has constitutional rights, and any allegation must be addressed through lawful court procedures.

The Federal High Court has now required the Respondents to defend their actions before the Court . This is how the rule of law works in a democracy.

We therefore respectfully urge all relevant government authorities to:

1. Obey the Order of the Federal High Court.

2. Respect the constitutional rights of the Applicant.

3. Allow the court process to proceed transpar
