PRIORITIZE THE MINISTRY OF THE SPIRIT

Do not quench (suppress or subdue) the [Holy] Spirit;
1 Thessalonians 5:19 (AMP)

The Holy Spirit is our greatest advantage, and as a child of God, if you must win and succeed as God intends, you must first recognize Him as a person. Scripture admonishes us not to quench or suppress Him. Learn to acknowledge Him, relate with Him, and walk in the consciousness that He lives in you and is with you at all times.

When you think about this great “Parakletos”—the Helper—our Lord Jesus spoke about and all He would do, you realize He must never be taken lightly. He is an amazing personality you can listen to, fellowship with, and align your life with for lasting glory. Jesus Himself said it was expedient that He should go, so the Holy Spirit could come. That shows His importance. Take full advantage of His ministry today.

If you are born again, He already dwells in you and has been with you from the moment you received salvation. He longs for fellowship with you. Relate with Him daily, and you’ll continually live in awe of God’s glory all your life.

PRAYER
Thank You, precious Lord Jesus, for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for His ministry in me today and forever. My life is from glory to glory, and I live daily in awe of Your glory.

YOUR LABOUR IS NOT IN VAIN

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister
Hebrews 6:10

Proverbs 14:23 reminds us that there’s profit in all labour, and everything you do for the Gospel is recorded and rewarded by God (Malachi 3:16). He is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love.

Even when it feels like your efforts in preaching, praying, giving, or reaching out are overlooked or met with persecution, remember: God rewards every sacrifice you make for the sake of the Gospel. Jesus promised that those who give up anything for Him will receive a hundredfold in this life, and eternal life in the world to come (Mark 10:29–30).

So, stay steadfast. Keep spreading His Word, winning souls, and impacting lives. Your labour in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, my heart is filled with joy to know that my labour and sacrifices in and for the Kingdom are not in vain! I remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that there’s a great reward for my labour in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

YOU LIVE IN THE KINGDOM NOW

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ
Philippians 3:20 NKJV

Did you know that you’re a heavenly citizen? Your life is from heaven. You’re not of this world. You’re in God’s Kingdom now! Therefore, don’t transact your affairs, don’t live as though you’re of this world or living in the world: “Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances” (Colossians 2:20).

Your actions and reactions, your thoughts, words and responses shouldn’t be like those of the people of the world. You’re different. You live on God’s terms; you live by His Word. You live by faith, because that’s the lifestyle in our spiritual Kingdom.

Jesus said in John 15:19, “...I have chosen you out of the world....” No wonder the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, cautioned, “Why are you still living as though you’re in the world, when actually you live in Christ, in the Spirit?”

Then, in Galatians 5:25, He tells us to walk in the Spirit, because we live in the Spirit. Now that you’re born again, you live in two worlds: the physical world and the spiritual world. But you have to be more conscious of the spiritual world because life is spiritual.

Colossians 3:1-2 says, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Live the life of heaven—on earth! Let your outlook on life be from the Kingdom’s perspective.

When you understand this, you’ll never be unsettled by the troubles and crises in the world; you’ll live above them. This is because in the Kingdom we only win and grow from glory to glory. Hallelujah!

AFFIRMATION
I’m not of this world; I’m born from heaven and live the life of heaven now in the earth! I live above the debilitating principles of this world, walking in victory, health, strength and prosperity. I’m conscious of my heavenly blessings, rights and privileges and I live in them in Christ Jesus. Amen.
