GREAT COMMISSION DEVOTIONAL - 29/11/25

TOPIC: MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE UNTO GOD
BIBLE VERSE: PSALMS 98:4

β€œMake a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.” Psalm 98:4 (KJV)

God calls us to celebrate and praise Him with joy and gladness. This joyful expression can lead to breakthroughs, empowering us to overcome challenges and achieve greater success.

Consider Paul and Silas, who turned their prison experience into praise, leading to their freedom (Acts 16:25-26).

The miracle you're seeking starts with rejoicing and praising God continually (Philippians 4:4). Embrace this truth, and watch God transform your life.

LET'S PRAY πŸ›
1. Heavenly Father, thank you for teaching me to make a difference.
2. I commit to applying your teachings and seeking daily miracles.
3. I trust in your power to bring positive change, in Jesus' name. Amen!

God bless you!

GREAT COMMISSION DEVOTIONAL - 1/10/25.

TOPIC: READINESS FOR CHRIST'S RETURN.
BIBLE VERSE: MATTHEW 24:36.

β€œBut of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” Matthew 24:36 (KJV)

As we embark on this new month of October, let us take a moment to reflect on our journey thus far in 2025 and express sincere gratitude to God for His guidance and protection. Embracing a life of readiness is essential for our spiritual growth and preparation for eternity. Recognizing God's infinite power and control over the universe, we acknowledge that He has ordained times and seasons according to His divine plan (Genesis 8:22).

When the disciples inquired about the hour of heaven and earth's passing, Jesus emphasized that only the Father possesses this knowledge. Therefore, our focus should be on living purposefully, fulfilling our divine destiny on earth, and striving to be worthy candidates for heaven.

Dear beloved, let us commit to a life of perpetual readiness, ever-prepared to receive our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

LET'S PRAY πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

My Master Jesus Christ, I thank You for reminding me to always be prepared for Your return. May Your words remain deeply etched in my heart, guiding me to live a life worthy of Your calling.

Amen!

May God continue to empower and bless you to reach new heights of faith and spiritual growth.

GREAT COMMISSION DEVOTIONAL - 26/9/25.

TOPIC: RISE ABOVE EVIL WITH FORGIVENESS
BIBLE VERSE: MATTHEW 5:38-39.

As children of God, we are empowered to live a life of virtue, love, and forgiveness, shining as beacons of hope in a world that often seeks revenge. We have the power to choose kindness, compassion, and understanding, reflecting the transformative love of Christ.

In the face of evil, we can rise above by choosing forgiveness, giving others a second chance to make amends and start anew. As we address wrongdoing, let us pray for the offender's repentance and guidance towards positive change, demonstrating our commitment to empathy and restoration.

May our actions inspire others to draw closer to Jesus Christ, and may we overcome evil with good, guided by God's wisdom and love.

LET'S PRAY πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›

1. Loving Father, thank You for Jesus Christ, who showed us the way to live a life of love and forgiveness.
2. Please help me develop a heart of forgiveness, to forgive those who have wronged me and give them the opportunity to repent, in Jesus' name. Amen!

God bless you πŸ™πŸ’•βœοΈπŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’–

**GREAT COMMISSION DEVOTIONAL - 27/5/25**

**TOPIC: ONLY ONE LIFE**
**TEXT: HEBREWS 9:27**

πŸ“– *Hebrews 9:27* - "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."

---

As we acknowledge that our time on earth is finite and that death is a certainty, it is important to reflect on how this understanding can positively shape our lives. The Psalmist encourages us, saying, "So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." (*Psalms 90:12*)

As we journey through life, we will eventually leave behind our possessions, wealth, and influence. What truly endures are our contributions to eternity. In the end, we will be remembered for the good we have done for Christ and the support we have provided to the Gospel.

With the awareness of death and subsequent judgment, we should strive to make thoughtful decisions about our daily conduct, focusing our lives on what truly matters.

⏩ We have one life to live, and it is crucial to make the most of it. Let’s commit to investing our time and energy in ways that yield eternal benefits. Living each day as if it were our last can motivate us to act with purpose and intention. May we honour the sacrifice of Christ in all our actions.

**LET'S PRAY πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™**
1. Let’s take a moment to thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Glory. May His name be praised forever. πŸ™
2. Pray intentionally that you will walk in a way that honours the Lord Jesus Christ, focusing on actions that are pleasing to Him. πŸ™
3. Father, grant me the ability to be fruitful in every good work and to deepen my understanding of You, in Jesus' name. πŸ™
4. Pray that God will help you direct your efforts toward activities that hold eternal significance, in the mighty name of Jesus. πŸ™
5. Lord, guide me in prioritizing my life to put You and Your kingdom first in all that I do, in Jesus' name. πŸ™
6. Declare with resolve: I will not lead a wasted life. My life will make a meaningful contribution to God's kingdom, in the mighty name of Jesus. πŸ™

**TOPIC: SUPREME LOVE FOR GOD**
**TEXT: MARK 12:30**

πŸ“– **Mark 12:30** - "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment."

---

Your love for God should take precedence in your life, engaging your heart, soul, and mind completely. It is essential to prioritize your relationship with God over all other connections, including those with your spouse, friends, relatives, and children. God desires our undivided affection, ensuring that nothing else competes for that sacred space.

To truly connect with God, embrace a love that is unwavering and dedicated. Consider making intentional choices that reflect your commitment to Him. Allow Christ to take the lead in every area of your life, inviting Him to guide your decisions and actions.

- **Begin each day in His Word.** Set aside time for Scripture reading, which will help you clarify your priorities and align your plans with God's will. Engaging with His Word fosters a sense of peace and stability as you navigate your day.

- **Cultivate a daily practice of worship and prayer.** Make this a cornerstone of your routine, as it strengthens your relationship with God and renews your spirit.

- **Participate in Christian fellowship.** Engage with other believers to build a supportive community around you. This connection not only deepens your commitment to God but also provides encouragement during challenging and joyful times.

As you focus on living in a way that pleases God, you will begin to see the blessings unfold in your life, promoting growth and fulfilment in all areas.

**LET'S PRAY** πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›

1. Take a moment to worship the Almighty God and praise His holy name! He is higher than the highest, the Alpha and Omega, and the All-sufficient God. πŸ™
2. Father, guide my life and establish Your rightful place within it. I surrender all to Jesus and trust in Your divine plan. πŸ™

Wishing you a joyful Sunday filled with God's blessings! πŸ‘‹

TOPIC: BE STRONG IN THE LORD
TEXT: Ephesians 6:10

Ephesians 6:10: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might."

As believers, we must draw strength from the Lord as we navigate life's trials and temptations. We live in a challenging world where we face various forces of darkness. Ephesians 6:12 wisely reminds us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

It is crucial to recognize that we are called to be strong in the Lord, not just in our own abilities. Standing firm in faith requires acknowledging our reliance on God’s strength. Attempting to face trials and challenges alone can lead to overwhelm, as our own strength, wisdom, or resources may not be sufficient. By depending on Christ, we position ourselves to confront the spiritual battles ahead.

Therefore, let us commit to relying on the Lord and utilizing the spiritual weapons at our disposal. 2 Corinthians 10:4 tells us, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds." It is vital that we put on the whole armor of God so we can effectively stand against the strategies of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11). Additionally, we should engage in continuous prayer with all kinds of supplication in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18).

Remember, the Lord is committed to fighting for you, and He will reveal His strength on your behalf in Jesus' Name.

LET'S PRAY πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›

1. Let’s take a moment to worship the Lord and express our gratitude.
Father, thank You for giving me life and strength.
2. All-Powerful God, grant me the grace and courage to be strong in Jesus' name.
3. I affirm that I will confidently tread upon serpents and scorpions in Jesus' mighty name.
4. Lord, I ask for Your deliverance from all evil in Jesus' name.

May God bless you abundantly.

TOPIC: CLAIMING OUR INHERITANCE
TEXT: JOSHUA 18:1-3

Joshua 18:1-3: "And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled at Shiloh and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them. And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes that had not yet received their inheritance. And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, 'How long are you slack in going to possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers has given you?'"

For many years, God has been providing for the Israelites, presenting them with the Promised Land. Yet, it is notable that seven tribes have not yet taken the crucial step to claim their inheritance. God has confidently assured them of victory over their adversaries, and nothing can stand in the way of their rightful entry into this land. Despite these assurances, some chose to live as nomads, not fully embracing the abundant life that God offers.

There seems to be a sense of comfort in the status quo among these tribes, reminiscent of the people of Babel or the early church when they remained in Jerusalem. While gathering in one place can have its benefits, it’s essential to realise that true progress requires moving forward and not settling for less.

Joshua's challenge to them, "How long are you slack in going to possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers has given you?" (Joshua 18:3), serves as an important reminder of the need for action and initiative.

Several factors can act as a hindrance to people stepping into their God-given possessions. Fear of the challenges that lie ahead often causes hesitation, and many may feel overwhelmed by the hard work required to achieve their goals. This is particularly relevant for Christians today, who might be deterred by perceived obstacles. Numerous regions, especially in rural areas, are waiting for the gospel to reach them, and it is our responsibility to embrace this opportunity. By choosing to act now, we can prevent our adversaries from solidifying their positions and gain ground for the kingdom.

As believers in Christ, we are enriched with many spiritual inheritances. Ephesians 1:3 assures us: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." It is vital that we actively claim these inheritances through faith and seek to express them in our everyday lives.

LET'S PRAY πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›

1. Psalms 66:8: "O bless our God, you people, and make the voice of His praise to be heard!"
2. Pray for God to fill you with inner strength and grace, enabling you to claim what rightfully belongs to you, in the mighty name of Jesus.
3. Pray that God will remove every illegal occupant of your inheritance in the name of Jesus.
4. I affirm my possession by faith of the gifts of the Holy Spirit that God has given me; I declare that they will manifest in my life starting now, in Jesus' name.

God bless you. πŸ™

TOPIC: TURNED AROUND FOR GOOD
TEXT: GENESIS 50:20

Genesis 50:20 states, "But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive."

Joseph’s brothers hated him, leading them to sell him into slavery. Ultimately, he rose to the position of Prime Minister in Egypt. Had he remained in Israel as Jacob's favored son, he would have had little chance to fulfill his true destiny. Ironically, his household enemies inadvertently set him on a path to his purpose. Their evil intentions against Joseph ultimately turned out to be for his good. This aligns with Romans 8:28, which states, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

This reminds us that God turns evil intentions into good for our benefit and His glory.

Few people achieve greatness without facing opposition. However, this opposition is not meant to deter you but rather to make you courageous, strong, and firmly established in your faith. When you overcome such challenges, you will not only enter a new level of achievement but also make the favor of God evident to everyone around you.

LET'S PRAY
1. Worship the all-wise God whose ways are beyond our understanding.
2. Thank Him for His goodness and His eternal plans for you; express gratitude for making everything work out for your good.
3. Pray that God will open your heart to understanding spiritual realities.
4. Pray that your heart will remain focused on God, regardless of your circumstances.
God bless you. πŸ™

TOPIC: PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD
TEXT: PSALMS 118:8-9

Psalm 118:8 - "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."
Psalm 118:9 - "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes."

As a child of God, it is imperative to acknowledge that He has called you to depend on Him, and He is fully capable of providing for your needs. At times, we may lose focus and start relying on human beings because they are tangible and present. However, God desires us to stop putting our trust in people: "Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?" (Isaiah 2:22).

The Bible makes it clear that God expects our trust to be in Him and not in mankind.

Consider Jeremiah 17:5: "Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD."

Human beings are limited in their abilities and can be unreliable or prone to mistakes. Therefore, while it is important to be sociable, refrain from relying solely on people. Instead, put your faith in God, who is omnipresent and possesses limitless capabilities to provide for your needs. May God grant you discernment to focus on and depend on Him.

God bless you. πŸ™

TOPIC: LOVE ONE ANOTHER
TEXT: JOHN 13:34-35

JOHN 13:34-35: "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

In this passage, our Lord has imparted a command to love one another. As Christians, it is our responsibility to adhere to our Master's command. The Apostle John, who was present at the Last Supper when this commandment of love was given, further elucidates, "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." (1 John 4:7-8)

Loving one another entails having an active interest in the well-being of others. In essence, love involves doing what is best for another person, regardless of the cost.

During these challenging times, let us demonstrate love toward one another and be our brother's keeper. We should actively seek to support our vulnerable brothers and sisters without waiting for them to ask for help. Identify those in need whom you can assist and do so quietly.

LET'S PRAY

1. Heavenly Father, make me a channel of love and blessings to others in Jesus' name.
2. May the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we do towards you.

God bless you.

TOPIC: STAND FAST IN THE FAITH
TEXT:1CORINTHIANS 16:137

1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

Our text presents a set of principles for victorious Christian living. A close examination reveals the following details for our admonition.

Watch Ye.
Believers must be vigilant and attentive in their lives. We must be watchful in all endeavors.
*Watch over your life, emotions, spirit, heart, meditation, and character. "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."(Proverbs 4:23)
*Watch over relationships and places you visit. "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners."(Corinthians 15:33)
*Watch for the Lord's coming.
Watch, therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. (Matthew 24:42)
*Watch thou in all things (2 Timothy 4:5)
We must guard and pay close attention to our spiritual lives, knowledge, and devotion to God.

Stand Fast in the Faith.
Christians are commanded to stand firm, persevere, and not deviate in faith and trust in God. Apostle Paul says: "Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved." (Philippians 4:1)
We must hold on to the truth of God's Word as revealed in the Bible. Believers should resist moves to be carried away by every wind of doctrine, especially at these end times.

Be Strong
God desires believers to be strong in the Lord. We are enjoined to "seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually." (1 Chronicles 16:11)
Our strength lies in seeking the Lord's strength through fervent prayer, studying His Word, and being obedient.

We sing "Stand up, stand up for Jesus" in congregations. It is time to translate musical phrases into practical actions.

LET'S PRAY

1. O God Almighty, we thank You for the redemptive work You have done in our lives through the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. O God, equip me to be strong as I seek Your presence, Your strength continually in Jesus' name.
3. Father, help me to stand firm for You till the end in the mighty name of Jesus.
God bless you πŸ™

TOPIC: AMEND YOUR WAYS

TEXT: JEREMIAH 7:3-4

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: "Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Do not trust in deceptive words, saying, β€˜The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, are these.’"

This passage highlights the propensity to prioritize public worship in the Temple while neglecting a corresponding transformation in the lives of worshippers. During that time, the people placed their trust in the Temple and its services, believing it would protect them from external threats and God’s judgment.

However, sacred places of worship and outward displays of holiness cannot appease God. A genuine transformation from within is essential, leading to righteous living, which is the hallmark of a Christian life.

In today’s Christian world, many individuals undertake long journeys to sacred religious sites, thinking these places will provide immediate solutions to their problems. This is a misconception. It is only when they realize that "God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth" (John 4:24) that they can truly understand this reality.

Participation in religious activities alone does not cleanse us from sin; we must amend our ways and actions.

Being officiating ministers in a church does not automatically make us acceptable before God; we must amend our ways and actions.

Giving tithes and offerings will not substitute for genuine salvation; we must amend our ways and actions.

Donating buildings for the service of the Lord will not absolve us from our wrongdoings; we must amend our ways and actions.

God desires that we regularly examine our lives. We need to pause and carefully consider how we live, ensuring we are on the right path.

LET’S PRAYπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

1. Express gratitude to God for His concern over your eternal destination.
2. Thank the Lord for the provision He made for our salvation by offering His Son for our sins.
3. Pray that the sacrifice of Christ will not be in vain in your life.
4. Ask the Lord to give you the grace to prepare for His coming, so that the day will not come upon you unaware.

May the Faithful Lord establish you in the Faith and keep you strong until the end in the mighty name of Jesus. May you grow stronger and become a channel of divine blessing to others, in Jesus’ name.

God bless you.πŸ™
