WHEN LIFE DOESN'T MAKE SENSE, CAN YOU STILL TRUST GOD?

It is easy to say, “I trust God” when everything is working.

But what happens when the season becomes difficult?

When the money isn't enough.

When the door you expected to open remains closed.

When your plans don't work out.

When you don't understand what God is doing.

When you have prayed, but the situation seems to become even more difficult.

That is where trust becomes more than words.

Trusting God does not mean you understand everything.

It means you choose to believe that God is still faithful, even when you don't understand the season.

You may not know why you are walking through this.

You may not know how it will end.

But you can know Who is walking with you.

Don't let a difficult season rewrite your understanding of God's character.

God is still God in the waiting.

God is still God in the uncertainty.

God is still God when you don't have all the answers.

You don't have to understand everything to trust Him.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Keep trusting.

Keep walking.

Keep believing.

This season is not bigger than the God who is with you.

WHEN YOU PRAY BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO CHANGE…

Have you ever prayed about something for so long that you started wondering if God was even listening?

You prayed.

You waited.

You believed.

But the situation still looks the same.

And slowly, questions begin to rise:

“Does God really hear me?”

“Why hasn't He answered?”

“Maybe God doesn't want to do this for me.”

Sometimes, unanswered prayers can become a real test of our faith.

But remember this:

God's silence is not His absence.

The fact that you cannot see what God is doing does not mean He is doing nothing.

There are moments when God answers immediately.

There are moments when He makes us wait.

There are moments when His answer is different from what we expected.

But through every season, His character remains unchanged.

Don't allow a delayed answer to make you doubt a faithful God.

Keep praying.

Keep trusting.

Keep seeking His will.

And when you don't understand the process, trust the One who sees the whole picture.

Your prayer is not wasted.

God hears you.

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee…” — Jeremiah 33:3

WHEN YOU LOVE GOD BUT FEEL FAR FROM HIM

Have you ever gone through a season where you still love God, but your spiritual life doesn't feel the same anymore?

You used to pray with excitement.

You used to enjoy studying the Word.

You could spend time with God without struggling so much.

But now, prayer feels like a task.

Bible study feels difficult.

Sometimes you open your Bible and close it again because you don't even know where to start.

You want to hear God clearly, but everything seems quiet.

And sometimes, you begin to wonder:

“What happened to me?”

The truth is, spiritual dryness can happen.

But we shouldn't become comfortable with it.

One of the most dangerous things is not that you are struggling spiritually.

It is when you begin to normalize the distance.

You stop praying because you don't feel like it.

You stop studying because you are busy.

You stop seeking God because you assume He understands.

And gradually, what started as a season becomes a lifestyle.

But God is still calling you back.

Not to condemnation.

Not to performance.

Back to fellowship.

Sometimes the answer isn't another sermon.

Sometimes you need to return to the secret place.

Open your Bible again.

Pray again.

Sit quietly before God again.

Start small if you have to, but start again.

Your spiritual life needs intentional cultivation.

You cannot remain spiritually strong by occasionally remembering God.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8

Maybe you haven't lost your love for God.

Maybe you simply need to return to the place where that love is continually nourished.

Don't run from God because you feel distant from Him.

Run back to Him.

WHEN YOU KNOW THE WORD BUT STRUGGLE TO LIVE IT

One of the hardest places for a believer is knowing what God says but struggling to actually live it.

You know you should forgive.

But the offense still hurts.

You know you should trust God.

But fear keeps taking over.

You know you should pray.

But you keep postponing it.

You know the Word says to wait on God.

But you are tired of waiting.

You know what is right, but doing what is right doesn't always feel easy.

And this is where many believers become frustrated with themselves.

But spiritual growth is not just about knowing more Scriptures.

It is about allowing the Word to transform the way we think, respond, speak, decide, and live.

James 1:22 says:

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only…”

The goal is not to become someone who can quote many Scriptures.

The goal is to become someone whose life increasingly reflects the Scriptures they know.

And that takes discipline.

It takes obedience.

It takes returning to God when you fail.

It takes allowing the Holy Spirit to correct you.

It takes practicing the Word even when your emotions are saying something different.

Don't despise the process.

Maybe you are not where you want to be yet.

But don't stop growing.

Read the Word.

Pray the Word.

Obey the Word.

Practice the Word.

And when you fall short, don't run away from God.

Return, learn, and keep growing.

Spiritual maturity is not built in one day.

It is built through daily surrender.

The Word you consistently practice will eventually shape the life you live.

Who do you talk to when YOU'RE the one everyone else leans on?

Leadership can be lonely.

Especially when you're young and expected to have all the answers.

But this is what I want you to know

🔹 Asking for help isn't weakness – it's wisdom.
🔹 Your vulnerabilities make you relatable, not less qualified.
🔹 The best leaders build circles of trust, not walls of perfection.

Try this:

Identify ONE person (mentor, peer, or coach) you can be honest with this week.

Send them a message: "Can we talk? I need some perspective."

You don't have to carry it all alone. 🤝

Every leader is a portal of access.

Aaron had access to God because of Moses.

God spoke to Moses and Aaron together because Aaron was connected to Moses' assignment.

"And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt..." (Exodus 12:1)

There are people we know today because of the leaders God connected us to.

There are rooms we entered because of a leader.

There are spiritual encounters we experienced because of a leader.

There are dimensions of revelation, impartation, and opportunities we accessed because of a leader.

Access is one of the rewards of divine connection.

But access alone is not enough.

Aaron had access to Moses' God, Moses' assignment, and Moses' influence, yet when leadership responsibility was placed in his hands, he failed the test.

Never take for granted the leaders God has connected you to.

The relationships God gives you are often doors into dimensions you may never have entered on your own.

Every leader is a portal of access.

The question is: What are you doing with the access God has given you?

“And Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh.”
— Exodus 7:7

In God’s kingdom, leadership is not limited by age, strength, or human qualification.

It is determined by divine calling and ordination.

Moses was 80 years old when God called him to confront Pharaoh.

Aaron, even at 83, was appointed as his mouthpiece.

Human logic would assume the older should lead the younger… but God works differently. He chooses purpose over preference, calling over culture, and assignment over age.

We see the same pattern in David.

While his brothers stood tall and looked more qualified, God bypassed them all and chose the youngest in the field.the one tending sheep.

“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

— 1 Samuel 16:7

David was not the most visible, but he was divinely selected.

Now listen 👂

Leadership in God’s economy is not about age or appearance.

It is about being chosen, prepared, and sent.

When God ordains you, He doesn’t need permission from human systems to promote you.

Have you ever felt “too young” or “too ordinary” for a responsibility God might actually be preparing you for?
