Saint Claudine Thévenet( Foundress of the Congregation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary) RJM

Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies,...it yields a rich harvest. Jn 12: 24

On February 3rd, 1837, at three o'clock in the afternoon, St.Claudine passed away peacefully. but before passing away, On February 1st, during one of her lucid moments, the nuns who were with her heard her pronounce distinctly and with an expression of joy: "HOW GOOD GOD IS!" Those words of praise, uttered with loving conviction, summarise her whole life.
The spirit of Claudine Thévenet continues to animate her congregation and the Religious of Jesus and Mary, who experience in their own lives the goodness of God and are eager to share this experience wherever the Lord calls them. In spite of winds and storms, Claudine's Yes to the Lord has grown and bears fruit in the church, thus realising the words of the Gospel: "Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it yields a rich harvest".
Today, celebrating the feast of Saint Claudine, we say: Happy feast day to all the Religious of Jesus and Mary and those who share in their Charism/Apostolic Mission.
