DAY 5 — FRIDAY, AUGUST 21, 2026
GIVE GOD YOUR TIME
Scripture: Ephesians 5:15–16; Romans 12:1
One of the greatest excuses we give is:
“I don't have time.”
But we find time for business.
We find time for work.
We find time for entertainment.
We find time for relationships.
We find time for social media.
We find time for many things.
The issue is often not that we have no time.
The issue is that we have not made God a priority.
There are people who can rearrange their schedules for what matters to them.
So the question is:
Does God matter enough to receive your time?
Some people come to church late deliberately.
Some only participate when it is convenient.
Some make excuses whenever there is an opportunity to serve.
But intentional people go the extra mile.
When everybody comes late, they come early.
When everybody says nobody is coming, they look for somebody.
When everybody is making excuses, they look for an opportunity to serve.
Give God the time.
Dedicate your time to God.
Dedicate yourself to God.
Come to God with a dedicated heart.
Today's challenge
Give God a specific, undistracted portion of your time today.
Then identify one area where you can become more punctual or committed in your service.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to stop giving You leftovers. Teach me to prioritize You with my time, strength, and attention. Amen.
