THE BLESSINGS OF OBEDIENCE

15/5/2026

Acts 5:29 - But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.

Obedience to God is not merely about following rules; it is about trust. Every time God asks us to do something,whether forgiving someone, waiting patiently, giving generously, or stepping out in faith ,He is inviting us into deeper relationship with Him.

Sometimes obedience feels easy when the outcome makes sense. Other times, God’s instructions may stretch us beyond comfort and understanding. Yet throughout Scripture, those who obeyed God experienced His guidance, protection, and favor. Noah built the ark before rain had ever fallen. Abraham left his homeland without knowing his destination. Their obedience became the pathway to God’s promises.

Delayed obedience is often disguised disobedience. God desires hearts that respond willingly, not reluctantly. Obedience may cost convenience, pride, or temporary comfort, but it produces spiritual growth, peace, and maturity.

Today, ask yourself:
Is there an area where God has been prompting me to obey?

Am I trusting His wisdom above my feelings?

What step of faith can I take today?

God never asks for obedience to limit us, but to lead us into His best.

PRAYERS
Lord Jesus , help me to trust You completely and obey Your voice even when it is difficult. Give me a willing heart, courage to follow Your direction, and faith to believe that Your plans are always good. Let my life bring You honor through obedience. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Staying Focused on Your Path of Purpose

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

One of the greatest distractions in life is comparing our journey with someone else’s. God never created us to run another person’s race. He designed each of us with a unique purpose, assignment, and timing. When we lose focus, we begin to chase things God never called us to pursue, and confusion replaces peace.

Staying focused on your path of purpose requires discipline, prayer, and trust in God’s direction. There will always be distractions, delays, opinions, and temptations to quit. But purpose is fulfilled by those who keep moving even when the road feels uncertain.

Sometimes God will separate you from certain people, places, or habits so you can clearly hear His voice. Do not mistake isolation for abandonment. God often prepares His servants in quiet places before revealing them publicly.

Your assignment is not to compete,it is to obey. Keep your eyes on God. Stay committed to what He has placed in your heart. Every step of obedience is leading you closer to the destiny He prepared for you.

PRAYERS
Father, help me remain focused on the purpose You have ordained for my life. Remove every distraction, fear, and confusion that pulls me away from Your will. Give me wisdom to follow Your direction and strength to remain faithful even when the journey is difficult. Let my life bring glory to You and fulfill the assignment You have given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

GRACE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

It is important that we take a moment to reflect on where we are being fed spiritually. Not every place we gather truly nourishes our souls the way God intends.

God’s Word is meant to build us, correct us, and help us grow into maturity in Christ. When the Word is not taught in truth and depth, believers may remain spiritually weak without even realizing it.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine…” — 2 Timothy 4:3
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” — Hosea 4:6

Let us be prayerful and discerning. Seek a place where the Word of God is taught with sincerity and truth, where your spirit is strengthened, and where Christ remains the foundation.

Your growth matters to God,don’t ignore it.

Be Conscious and Speak It Out

People with special task hear this and take it seriously.

Don’t stay silent about what God is doing in your life. Be conscious of it. Pay attention to it. Recognize it.

The Bible says in Isaiah 43:19, “See, I am doing a new thing… do you not perceive it?” That means God is moving,but many miss it because they are not sensitive.

Open your eyes,God is working in your life right now,in your growth, in your waiting, in your struggles, and even in the small things you overlook.

And don’t just notice it,talk about it.

2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” If you truly believe God is working, then talk about it,Declare it,Let it come out of your mouth.

Say:
*God is working in me
*God is changing my story
*I am not the same,I am growing
*My life is not empty,God is involved.

Stop focusing only on problems and start speaking what God is doing. When you speak it, your faith rises, and your awareness becomes stronger.

Remember Proverbs 18:21 — life and death are in the power of the tongue. So use your voice wisely.

Be conscious. Be aware. Speak it out.

Prayer
Lord, open my eyes to see what You are doing in my life. Help me to stay aware and not miss Your work. Give me the boldness to speak of your goodness in my life daily.

Confession:
I am conscious of what God is doing in my life. My eyes are open, my spirit is alert, and my mouth speaks faith. God is working in me, and I will not miss it.
