MORNING DEW DEVOTIONAL.

TOPIC: DOMINION RESTORED IN CHRIST (PT 2).

TEXT:Genesis 1:26-28 KJV
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. [27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. [28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

In our above text, GOD'S original purpose was for man to experience dominion/authority over His entire creation. When man fell (Gen. 3) there was a loss of that dominion to the devil.
The dominion was restored to man when the LORD JESUS CHRIST, describe as the second Adam ( 1 Corint. 15:45-49), died and rose again from the dead.
Anyone who believes in CHRIST has the dominion fully restored to him.
Thus, the source of man's dominion is the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, who created the heavens and the earth.
The scope of this dominion as it concerns the believer today is as stated in Gen. 1:26-28 and amplified in the Gospels. ( Mk. 16:15-18; Lk. 10:19). Today's believer has dominion, power, authority, over the enemy and it's workings/agents in all spheres of life. As the believer learns to exercise this dominion, he/she experiences victory in daily living.
Believers are special people redeemed by God through the blood of His son. The Bible says He has given unto us exceeding great and precious promises by which we are partakers of the divine nature. (2pet.1:4). In Christ we have been positionally placed above principalities and powers.

PRAYERS.

Thank you LORD for another day you have made we shall rejoice and be glad in it in Jesus name amen.
I exercise dominion over principalities, powers and wickedness in high places in Jesus Christ mighty name amen.
I am wining at all time by the exceeding great Grace of God Almighty at work in me through the working power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.
I pray for you in Jesus Christ mighty name you shall exceed every form of evil and manipulations assign against you and your assignment in destiny fulfillment in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.

MORNING DEW DEVOTIONAL.

TOPIC: DOMINION RESTORED IN CHRIST.

TEXT: Mark 16:14-18 KJV
Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. [15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

1. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE AREAS IN WHICH BELIEVERS ARE EXPECTED TO EXERCISE THEIR DOMINION?

The believer is equipped by the Holy Spirit to exercise dominion in every situation of life. God's injunction is that we should have dominion over all the earth and to subdue it (Gen.1:28).

(a) We should therefore strive to excel in our various fields of endeavour, careers, professions, e.t.c.
Excellence in this context has to do with diligence, commitment and dedication to what we do and God at His own appointed time will reward us in His own way.
Excellence has nothing to do with using crooked and unscriptural means to get to the top or pinnacle of our careers.

(b). The believer has also been given the power and authority over Satan, demons and their human representatives (agents) wherever and whenever they manifest; whether in the believers life or in the lives of others. The command in scripture to the believer is "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."(James 4:7).
The point of our submission to God marks the beginning of our resisting the devil and experiencing victory over him. It is when we have submitted to God that we use His Name against the devil and his agents and experience the promised victories.(Mk.16:15-18; Lk.10:19 e.t.c).

(c). Another area in which believers are expected to exercise dominion is in the realm of prayers. We should always realize that potentially we have victory over the devil by reason of what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross of Calvary. Therefore we should not lace our prayers with subtle fear for the enemy. We should realize that we have dominion over Satan and all his agents. We should therefore pray like people who have authority/ dominion using the weapons of our warfare to pull down the strongholds of the enemy ( 2Corin. 10:4).

(d). Believers are also expected to exercise dominion in the area of living above sin. God by His Holy Spirit, has put in us all it takes to live above sin. We should listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and apply His word in our lives and sins will not have dominion over us; rather we will have victory over sin. (Rom. 6:11-14;Gal. 5:16).

(e). Another area we should exercise our dominion is when we go for evangelism. The preaching of the word must be combined with prayer for the sick, casting out devils e.t.c., if we come across any of such situations ( Mk. 16:15-18).

Thank you LORD Jesus for all you have done for me glory and honour are ascribe to you LORD amen
I am born again in Christ Jesus to rule and to reign in the midst of my enemies walking and operating in the Supernatural in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.
I overturn every satanic ancient landmark, I pull down satanic structure, I take dominion over their operations traple then under my feets in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.
I pray for you in Jesus Christ mighty name not again will you suffer shame, lack, delay, limitations, backwardness name it in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen

MORNING DEW DEVOTIONAL.

TOPIC: Intimacy With God

TEXT:Philippians 3:9-10,13-14 KJV
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: [10] That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [13] Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, [14] I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

It's one thing to know about God, but it's entirely another thing to know him intimately. Take a moment and examine your life today. Has your walk with God slowed to a crawl? Are you running on empty? A full tank is only possible by making regular visits to the fuel pump; that means paying attention to your fuel gauge. And a full tank doesn't just happen; it requires vigilance, commitment and action. Your flesh will work against you every day, and adverse circumstances will come to discourage you. Even those close to you may misunderstand your new spiritual priorities. If it was easy, anyone could do it.
The prize goes to those who can say like Paul: 'All I want is to know Christ and the power that raised him to life. I want to suffer and die as he did, so that somehow I also may be raised to life' (Philippians 3:10-11). The Bible tells us, 'The man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame' (Genesis 2:25). That's physical intimacy! But the ultimate intimacy is not between a man and woman; it's with God! And Paul didn't just pray for it; he pursued it with all his heart.
How about you? Do you sing God's praises in church with a mind that's elsewhere? Have you become so critical that you don't sound like an believer? Have you allowed sinful habits to rob you of your confidence towards God ( 1 John 3:21-22)? If so, you are not living as your heavenly Father intended for you. Starting today, seek to become intimately acquainted with him. Let us keep running with God on full tank in our relationship.

Prayer Points.

Oh Lord, I desire a deeper relationship with you in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.
Holy Spirit carry me to the place of constant intimacy with you in Jesus Christ mighty name amen.
Every force of weakness and unfaithfulness affecting my relationship with God be frustrated now in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.
Oh Lord release upon me the grace to tarry at your feet on daily basis to keep the fire of my faith burning in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.

MORNING DEW DEVOTIONAL.

TOPIC: Weigh your words

TEXT: James 3:2-3,5-8 KJV
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. [3] Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. [5] Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! [6] And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. [7] For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: [8] But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

When it comes to your tongue, here are three rules:

(1) Don't speak too quickly.
We all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we...could...control ourselves in every other way' (James 3:2). Because you can never be totally aware of all the sensitivities of a person, you must rely on the Holy Spirit to direct your speech in a way that doesn't tap into their pain or other negative experiences. Everybody has a different sensitivity level, depending on their past experiences. That includes you. So practise not being easily offended, and giving others the benefit of the doubt when they say something that could be misconstrued as offensive.

(2) Don't respond to matter too quickly.

'To answer before listening that is folly and shame' (Proverbs 18:13). Before you speak, listen and make sure you understand what is really being said. And if you don't - say so. Your need to 'look good' can cause you to lose the respect of the person you're seeking to impress.

(3) Don't make a promise too quickly.
Solomon writes, 'Do not be rash with your mouth, and let not your heart utter anything hastily before God' (Ecclesiastes 5:2 NKJV). Then he goes on to explain how we shouldn't try to drop out of a commitment by saying we made a mistake. Your word is your bond, and when you break a promise, you hurt people and forfeit their trust.
So pause before you speak, and if need be, take time to pray. Your time and your words are two things that can never be taken back, so carefully weigh what you say. Be a good manager of your thoughts.

PRAYERS

Oh Lord, I receive wisdom to manage my thoughts and line them up with your Words in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.
Oh Lord help me not to offend my destiny helpers by the words I use in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I humble myself under total control of my words, will actions, thoughts, decision, finances, and many others by the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.
I decree and declare, this year enemies shall not be able to use our words against or to hinder our progress in Jesus Christ mighty name amen and amen.
