The Mosque Building Comm. of Uselu No 2 Mosque (Behind Tomline Water Resources, Uselu, Benin City) wishes to thank the general public. Jazaka Lahu aeran katheeran.
Your earlier contributions have led to the purchase of mosque land, fencing of the mosque premises, sinking of a water borehole, and erecting a Masjid up to decking level.
The next activity is laying the decking. We are soliciting the sum of twenty-five million Naira (N25 million) for the completion of the mosque project.

MAXIMIZE YOUR REWARD DURING THIS RAMADAN BY STRIVING FOR A MANSION IN AL-JANNAH

Anobi Lonigba Uselu No. 2 Mosque at No. 29 Okunghae Street, Behind Tomline Civil and Water Engineering Building, Uselu Quarters, Benin City has been in existence for the past 30 years on rent. The mosque currently serves as a venue for daily congregational prayers, Madrasat where children acquire Islamic and Arabic knowledge, Women Asalatu group, and other Islamic activities. Phase 1 of the fundraising towards building a modern mosque began in 2020 when seven million was raised to purchase the mosque land. Also, fencing of the mosque premises and molding of about three thousand blocks were achieved. Phase II of the fundraising campaign to raise 45 million Naira for the construction of a modern mosque and Madrasat has just begun. Please, donate generously towards building a masjid for the sake of Almighty Allah. Nothing is too small!!! Remember, the Prophet of Allah (S.A.W.) said, “Whoever builds a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build a mansion for him in Al-Jannah.” (Hadith).

The members of the Fund-raising Committee of the above-named mosque wish to sincerely thank and appreciate members of the general public (Muslims and non-Muslims) for their generous donations towards saving the existence of our mosque.

Alhamdu Lilah, with your great support and contributions, the land in which the mosque is situated has been purchased with the sum of five million five hundred thousand Naira (N5,500,000: 00) only and the legal document has been collected from the lawyer.

Insha Allah, the building of the mosque will commence in January 2022, and we look forward towards your financial assistance one more time in this noble course. It is in our prayers that Almighty Allah should reward you with Al-jannah Firdaos (paradise), as promised by His Prophet (S.A.W.), “Whoever build a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build a mansion

*HOW WILL YOU FEEL IF A MOSQUE PREMISES WAS CONVERTED TO A CHURCH BUILDING?*

All praises and adorations are due to Allah (S.W.T), the Lord of the world. May the peace and blessings of Allah (S.W.T) be upon the noblest soul of Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W), his households, companions and the general Muslim Ummah (Ameen).

Fund raising committee was set up. Fund raising tickets and envelopes were printed and shared. Solicitation of funds was made on the social media; Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. All these are geared toward only one heavy task. Just to save the existence of a mosque building!!!
Anobi Lonigba Uselu No. 2 Mosque, situated at No. 29 Okunghae Street, Behind Tomline Civil and Water Engineering Building, Uselu Quarters, Benin City, Edo State is a venue for numerous Islamic activities such as; daily congregational prayers, Madrasat, Women Asalatu group, etc. The land in which the mosque is situated has been on an annual rent for the past twenty years. Recently, the landlord requested the payment of eight million Naira (N8,000,000: 00) to purchase the said land or vacate the premises. This has necessitated the urgent need to raise the money to save the existence of the mosque.

A contribution of a token of one thousand Naira (N1,000) or more is being requested from you to save a mosque. If you neglected this noble call for assistance and the land is forfeited to the Christians, how will you feel. How will you feel if a mosque premises is converted to a church? How will you feel? Please, do not be left out as you make your contribution.
