TOPIC: A CURSELESS CURSE SHALL NOT COME.

SCRIPTURE: Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow,
an undeserved curse does not come to rest. PROVERBS 26:2, NIV

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: An undeserved curse does not come to rest.

We live in a world of altars. The world is practically littered with different altars where spiritual transactions are carried out. That is why as children of God, it is crucial for us to know how to deal with evil altars and maintain perpetual victory in life and destiny.

Altars are places of sacrifices (Genesis 8:20-22). They are places of covenant where people enter covenant with either God or the devil. It is critical to know that altars affect life both in quality and quantity. Altars can either prolong life or cut life short. For example, the altar that Abraham had with God was a longevity altar. A contrary example is that of the prophet’s widow’s children in 2Kings 4:1-3. Her children were transacted away by her late husband, though a prophet. The man had already died but whatever he did was still looking for the lives of his children.

Now, in dealing with evil altars, there are things we need to know. We shall be looking at one of those things today, and that is the fact that the curse causeless shall not come (Proverbs 26:2).

It is crucial to note that a curse causeless cannot come. Meaning, as in the NIV Translation in our anchor Scripture above, an undeserved curse does not come to rest. For instance, if someone says, “This girl is too rich; let me go and pull her down diabolically,” and the girl did not do anything against the person, there is nothing he does that can harm or hurt her. That is a curse causeless, and it won’t land.

But if on the other hand, someone went and stole someone’s money, and the owner of the money laid a curse on them saying, “Whoever stole my money, it will never be well with their generation,” and did some incantations, invocations or enchantments against the thief, such a curse can land on the thief because their action warranted a curse.

So, beloved, stop moving about in fear because of bad people; do not be afraid of wicked people. Know who you are in God. Know your relationship with Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. And if you are a brother of the Lion, you have no reason to fear. Remember, dogs cannot intimidate lions, so the devil and his wicked agents can never intimidate God and His children.

Our anchor scripture says, an undeserved curse does not come to rest… So, if you suddenly discovered that someone tore your cloth to use for diabolical purposes or one leg of your slippers got missing mysteriously, tell the devil and his agents, “You are a bastard! Whatever you did won’t stand!

Beloved, equip yourself with relevant light. It is the light you carry that disarms the devil and his forces of darkness.

Remember this: An undeserved curse does not come to rest.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Refuse to be afraid of any curse that is causeless or undeserved.

2. Immediately return every curse or negative statement made against your life and destiny to the sender.

3. Plead the Blood of Jesus over your life whenever you sense enchantments against your life and destiny.

PRAYER: Lord, I deploy the weapon of the Blood of Jesus against every evil altar, or curse speaking against my life and destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC : REVELATION – A FUEL FOR FAITH.

SCRIPTURE :
For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
{Acts 27:22-25}

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY :
The Voice of God fuels faith.

I once had a dream encounter where I saw some people come to attack me. As I was about to rush at them, a man suddenly appeared by my side, and told me, “Just step aside.” So, I stepped aside and stood behind him. By the time he moved his hands once or twice, the people who came to attack were all on the floor. At this point, I asked him, “Who are you?” And he said, “I am the angel sent to fight your battles.” That encounter shifted my faith to another level. So, I am fully aware that anyone looking for my trouble is looking for disaster.

Now, the essence of sharing this is to let you know that Divine encounter, direction and revelation fuel faith for preservation. When God shows you some things, they are meant to fuel your faith.

That was what happened to Paul in Acts 27:22-25. Even though Paul believed God before that time, when he saw the angel at night telling him that no matter the storm, he would not suffer any harm, his level of faith shifted higher.

Beloved, Divine direction or revelation is such a crucial necessity in the life of every child of God. It shifts your faith to another level. The Voice of God fuels faith because faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word (Voice) of God (Romans 10:17 Paraphrased). And faith guarantees preservation. Habakkuk 2:4 says,…but the just shall live by his faith. The meaning is, the more directed you are, the more protected you are. The more you hear God’s Voice, the more preserved you are. So, Divine direction or revelation is key to Divine protection and preservation.

No wonder, Hosea 4:6 says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… That is very true! Where instruction is lacking, destruction is abundant. Where people lack revelation, they cannot escape disaster (Proverbs 29:18).

Beloved, from today, you shall begin to have Divine encounters with revelation and direction that will fuel your faith unto greater exploits in life and destiny.

Remember this :
The Voice of God fuels faith.

ASSIGNMENT (S) :
1. Study the Word of God daily; and believe the Word despite the situation around you.

2. Make demands on God for Divine encounters that will fuel your faith.

TOPIC: THE FAITH PATHWAY TO THE BLESSING

SCRIPTURE: So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. GALATIANS 3:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every provision of God is a shared responsibility between man and God.

It has been established throughout scripture that the way of faith is the way of the Blessing. People of faith are people of the Blessing. Therefore, to possess faith is to walk in the Blessing.

For instance, the Bible calls Abraham, the father of faith, and Abraham was also the symbol of the Blessing in Scripture (Genesis 12:2-3).

A renowned man of God, Smith Wigglesworth who was officially called the apostle of faith was also a symbol of the Blessing. He was a plumber and was comfortable as a plumber.

When God called him into Ministry, he told God, “I have seen some preachers in abject poverty with holes on their trousers, looking frustrated and pitiable. I hope that is not what you are calling me into?” And God told him, “No I'm not calling you to be like that.”

He was a symbol of the blessing of God. He was usually immaculately dressed all the time. He travelled by the best means of transportation available in his days to nations of the world, from England to America, crisscrossing the world.

Now, what is the faith pathway to the Blessing? What are the faith actions that produce the Blessing?

Today, we shall be looking at two faith pathways to the Blessing.

1. The revelation of the promises and provisions of God. Every man or woman of faith who will see the Blessing of God will begin with accessing the revelation of God’s scriptural promises and provisions for His people (Deuteronomy 28:1-13, Psalm 35:27, Psalm 37:25-26). A person who will not be stranded in life is the one who understands the promises and provisions of God (3John 1:2).

2. The revelation and understanding of God's conditions and requirements for the Blessing. Every provision of God is a shared responsibility between man and God. There is something man does and there is something God also does (Exodus 23:25, Job 36:11). Many people want God to do magic for them, but God is not a magician. God is a miracle worker; He is a covenant keeper. Magic is where you want something to happen for nothing. Covenant involves a mutual walk between man and God.

Beloved, if you desire the provision of God, look for the conditions to fulfil. And when you handle your responsibility, you don’t need to beg God to handle His.

Remember this: Every provision of God is a shared responsibility between man and God.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Search the scripture and locate your inheritance in God.

2. Locate your responsibility in any area where you desire to see the fulfilment of God’s promises and do it.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for your promises to me. I receive the grace to fulfil the conditions needed to see the fulfilment of Your promises to me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

SCRIPTURE: But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. MARK 11:26

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The release of the offender is the release of the offended.
We live in a world of offences. That is why the scripture makes it abundantly clear that for as long as you are in this world, offences must come (Matthew 18:7). The only person who is not offended is the person in the mortuary or grave.

No wonder, it has been said that to err is human. So human beings must permanently err and offend. The first thing to note is that offences must come. The second thing to note is that offence is a satanic trap for destruction and damnation.

That is why it is crucial to deal with the issue of unforgiveness. Today, we shall be looking at some of the negative consequences of offence and the power of forgiveness.
Now, when offences are not forgiven, what are the consequences?
1. Iniquity remains unforgiven where there is unforgiveness (Mark 11:25-26). Until you have forgiven your offender, you have not been forgiven your own offences. Whatever makes you to hold the sins of other people against them makes God to hold your own sins against you.
2. Access to God in prayer is hindered by unforgiveness. (Mark 11:25). Unforgiveness blocks people’s access to God.
3. Access to grace is hindered by unforgiveness (Hebrews 12:14). And it is grace that is the reason for ease in the race of life. Where grace is removed, struggle is established.
4. Bitterness and unforgiveness trouble the system (Hebrews 12:14). Bitterness or unforgiveness is a poison that troubles the system of man. It gives access to afflictions.
5. Unforgiveness and bitterness defile the spirit of man (Hebrews 12:14). So, a person who is bitter and unforgiving is moving about with a spirit that is defiled.
Now, forgiveness on the other hand is pregnant with power. What is the power of forgiveness?
1. The release of both the offender and the offended: The release of the offender is the release of the offended. When you release the one who offended you, no devil can succeed in holding you. For example, the captivity of Job turned when he prayed for his friends (Job 42:10).
2. The restoration of the offended: The release of the offender through forgiveness is the restoration of the offended (Job 42:10). Release is key to restoration.
3. The Presence and Power of God: The Presence, power and working of the Almighty are activated by the action of forgiveness. For instance, God stepped into action, the moment Job forgave his offenders (friends) and prayed for them. You will never be able to know what it means to feel the power of God in your life if you harbour bitterness and unforgiveness.
4. The Amplification of the power of prayer: The power of prayer is amplified by the action of forgiveness. Prayer becomes more forceful, and resultful when you forgive.
5. The Guarantee of Eternity: Eternity is guaranteed by the action of forgiveness provided a Godly, holy and upright Christian living is in place.

Remember this: The release of the offender is the release of the offended.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Release from your heart, those who offended you.
2. Ask for grace to forgive when you find it difficult to do so.
3. Pray for those who hurt you.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to forgive my offenders. Help me to guard my heart against the spirit of bitterness, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:-* _Anything in your body that is not good is not of God; it is an illegal tenant._

Our anchor scripture reveals that God is passionate about the health and well-being of His people. This is because it takes a solid body, a sound mind, and a fervent spirit to have a solid destiny.

It does not matter what vision a person has, if sound health is not available, that vision is in jeopardy. There are wealthy people who are not healthy, so that wealth is almost of no consequence; it is not enjoyable. But one thing that is important is that God has made provision for both abundant wealth and quality health for us. Today, we shall *identify five platforms or basis to expect quality health.*

*1.* Jesus took our infirmities and afflictions on the Cross of Calvary *(Matthew 8:17, 1Peter 2:24).*

*2.* Jesus purchased our bodies to be His temple by His Blood *(1Corinthians 6:19-20).* So, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; it is not a temple for the habitation of affliction. It is not a house for hypertension, diabetes, hepatitis, HIV or cancer. Anything in your body that is not good is not of God; it is an illegal tenant. So, you need to give it a quit notice.

*3.* We have the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit who continuously saturates our bodies with Divine life *(Romans 8:11).* The assignment of the Holy Ghost is not just to enable us to speak in tongues; the Holy Spirit also quickens, enlivens, animates, vivifies, saturates and vitalizes our mortal body. So, for as long as you have the Holy Spirit in you, you have a continuous supply of the Life of God. And the Life of God is a sickless, limitless, oppression-less Life.

*4.* The mystery of waiting on the Lord and the Blood of Jesus. We have access to supernatural strength and health continually by the mysteries of waiting on the Lord and the Blood of Jesus *(Isaiah 40: 31, Revelation 5:12).* One of the things that His Blood was shed to purchase for us is divine health and supernatural strength.

*5.* The climate of the Spirit of the Lord *(2Corinthians 3:17).* We have liberty from captivity because the Spirit of the Lord is the Spirit of liberty.

Beloved, quality health is your portion in God, so refuse to be a victim of affliction.

TOPIC: SPIRITUAL RESOURCES FOR LIFE’S JOURNEY.

SCRIPTURE: And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. EXODUS 33:14-15

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The grace of God is what makes the race of life easy.

The preparation for every journey determines the realization of its destination. For instance, if I am to go from the Airport Road in Abuja to Nyanya in Nassarawa state, which is about 20 to 30 minutes’ drive, my level of preparation will be a little different from when I am going from Abuja to Jos, Plateau state, which is about 4 hours’ drive. And if I am travelling to London in the United Kingdom or Houston in Texas, USA, my level of preparation will be totally different.

Our anchor scripture tells us about the children of Israel on a journey, and in preparation for the journey, they needed some spiritual resources. Moses prayed to to God, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. Exodus 33:15. Moses realized that without the Presence of God, the journey would not be successful.

Beloved, there are resources needed to help us make the most of every journey in life. And today, we shall X-ray some of them.

1. The grace of God. The grace of God is what makes the race of life easy (Hebrews 4:16).

2. The fire of God (Psalm 104:4, Joel 2:3). We need the fire of God for judgmental operations, to put the enemy where he belongs.

3. The Presence of God (Exodus 33:14-16, Psalm 16:11). The presence of God is key to escape from the pressures of life.

4. The help of the Lord (Acts 26:22). The help of God is what makes you not to stop the journey halfway. The secret of perpetual continuity is the help of God. The help of God makes you not to turn your back on the enemy.

Remember this: The grace of God is what makes the race of life easy.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Refuse to start any journey without God’s involvement.

2. Ask God for the impartation of the outlined spiritual resources in today’s lesson.

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Until you know what to do, you don’t leave where you are.*

Welcome to the month of September. This month, God is shifting you into greater dimensions of blessings, grace and intimacy with Him.

As we begin the journey into September 2025, it is vital to note that the most reasonable way to begin anything significant is to begin it with God, and the next important way is having and maintaining a sense of vision.

Vision is important because what you define determines what you can discover. And what you cannot define, you cannot discover. If you don’t know what you want, how would you know when you see it? The road you choose determines the place you end.

Now, it is also important to know that just the possession of vision does not guarantee the fulfillment of the vision. There are secrets to moving from vision to reality. And today, we shall be looking at one of those secrets which is identifying necessary action steps.

To identify necessary action steps means to identify what to run with.

Part of knowing what you want in life is knowing what to do to get it. You don’t really know what you want until you know what to do to get it. And until you know what to do, you don’t leave where you are.

A wise man by the name, Charles Blair once said, “The greatness of a man lies in his understanding of purpose for which he lives and his willingness to pay the price to get it.” (Paraphrased)

God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo aptly said, “For every rise there is a price.” If there must be a rise there must be a price.

Luke 14:28 says, For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? There is a cost for every tower and counting that cost is critical to building it.

Beloved, is there a point in life you want to rise to? There is a price to pay. Identifying and paying that price is critical to your rise to that point.

The truth is, vision equals daydream where the cost implication of its fulfillment is not known.

REMEMBER THIS: Until you know what to do, you don’t leave where you are.

ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Review your vision and trust God to help you identify action steps to take to bring that vision to reality.

2. Be focused; refuse to be distracted.

PRAYER: Lord, open my eyes to know what to do to bring my visions to reality. I receive the grace to be focused and consistent in taking the right steps, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: GOD’S PRESENCE – THE BIRTHPLACE OF STRENGTH.

SCRIPTURE: They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. PSALM 84:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Spiritual strength makes it impossible for us to faint in the days of adversity.

Our anchor scripture makes it clear that the Presence of the Lord is the headquarters of strength. Psalm 96:6 corroborates this when it says, Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Every time we need strength, every time we need to deal with weakness, the place to go is the Presence of God.
Now, what kind of strength can we receive from the Presence of God?

1. Spiritual strength. This is the strength that helps us deal with the devil (Ephesians 6:10). Spiritual strength makes it impossible for us to faint in the days of adversity (Proverbs 24:10).

2. Physical strength. This is the realm of health and vitality. Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died; his strength was not reduced because of how much time he spent in the Presence of God (Deuteronomy 34:7). If you have weakness in your body, your heart, etc. the Presence of God is all you need.

3. Emotional or psychological strength. Maybe your emotion is so weak, you get depressed or discouraged easily, the Presence of God is a place you can get emotional strength (Isaiah 53:1-7).

4. Mental strength. This has to do with the power of the will/choice. There are those who cannot make decisions easily; they cannot say no to the wrong things. In the Presence of God, you can develop your capacity to make critical decisions (Romans 12:1-2).

5. Character strength. There are those who are bound with all manner of negative habits – to***co smoking, ma********on, immorality, etc. and are unable to break free. They need strength in their inner man (Ephesians 3:14). And that strength is imparted by the Presence of God.

Beloved, camp with God at the place of prayer, worship and study of the Word, and your strength shall be renewed.

Remember this: Spiritual strength makes it impossible for us to faint in the days of adversity.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

TOPIC: LACK OF COVENANT SENSE – A HINDERANCE TO FINANCIAL DOMINION

SCRIPTURE: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. PROVERBS 10:22

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is a limit to what God can do with people who have no covenant sense or mentality.

Our anchor scripture makes it explicitly clear that the blessing of the LORD, it MAKETH rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. This implies that wealth, riches, prosperity, abundance is a process.

There is a process, a sort of making that ends up a person in the realm of wealth. That is, there are things to do and habits to uphold. In the same manner, there is a making that processes unto poverty. Proverbs 10:4 says, He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. The Bible says, He BECOMETH poor… So, poverty is also a process. There are things that process a person unto poverty. If a person is rich today and he does the things that will process poverty in his life, he will become poor in a short time. The same manner, if a person is poor today and he continues to do the things that process people unto wealth, he will become wealthy in a short time.

The question is, what are those things that bring hindrances to financial dominion? What are the things that process people unto poverty?
Today, we shall look at one of those factors that process people unto poverty, which is the Lack of covenant sense.

The lack of covenant sense means the failure to think God first, the failure to think kingdom first. There are various ways through which people become wealthy or rich. Most of them are worldly ways, but if you desire God's empowerment unto wealth, a covenant sense is needed. There is a limit to what God can do with people who have no covenant sense or mentality.

For example, Hannah, the mother of Samuel, for many years, had prayed and laboured for a child, even sacrificed annually for a child at Shiloh. But there was no result until she thought God and his kingdom first. She tied what she was looking for to the kingdom of God (1Samuel 1:1-19). And when she put God and His Kingdom first, her story changed.

When God was not in the picture, it was labour without reward, sweat without sweet, and struggle without success.

Beloved, lack of financial dominion happens, wherever there is lack of covenant sense. If you want to experience increase in your financial life, put God first. Never spend any money that enters your hand without considering covenant practices first.

Remember this: There is a limit to what God can do with people who have no covenant sense or mentality.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Put God first in your finances and be faithful in covenant practices like tithing, giving to the poor, etc.

2. Refuse to be idle: engage your hand in productive ventures.

3. Ask God to breathe upon what you do for a living.

PRAYER: Lord, be in control of my financial life. I walk in the realm of financial dominion as I engage in covenant practices, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
