WORD CORNER FOR TODAY: THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH - PT 2

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:7
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Faith means trusting God even when you cannot see the way forward. Sometimes, what you see may be discouraging, but faith looks beyond the present situation and holds firmly to God’s promises. Do not allow what is happening around you to make you doubt what God has said.

Walking by faith means choosing to believe God in every season—when things are good and when things are difficult. You may not understand everything God is doing, but you can trust His wisdom and His timing. God does not require you to see the whole journey before you take the next step.

Prayer:
Father, help me to walk by faith and not by sight. Give me the grace to trust You when I do not understand what You are doing. Strengthen my faith, remove every fear and doubt from my heart, and help me to hold firmly to Your promises. Let my faith produce testimonies in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

WORD CORNER FOR TODAY: THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH - PT. 1

Scripture: Habakkuk 2:4
“Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”

The Bible says, “The just shall live by faith.” Faith is trusting God even when you cannot see the answer. The just person does not allow circumstances, challenges, or delays to determine their confidence in God. We choose to believe God because He is faithful and His Word never fails.

There may be times when everything around you seems impossible, but faith says, “God is able.” Your present situation may not look like the promise God has given you, but do not give up. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting God. What you see today is not necessarily what God has prepared for your tomorrow.

Prayer:
Father, help me to live by faith and not by fear. Give me the grace to trust You in every situation, even when I cannot see the way forward. Strengthen my faith, remove every doubt from my heart, and help me to stand firmly on Your Word. Let my faith bring me into my testimony, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

WORD CORNER FOR TODAY: REPLACE WORRY WITH PRAYER.

Scripture: Philippians 4:6–7

Message: Worry has a way of stealing our peace and making us focus more on our problems than on the God who is able to solve them. But the Word of God gives us a better way: replace worry with prayer. Instead of carrying every burden in your heart, take it to God in prayer.

Philippians 4:6 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” This means that whatever is troubling you—your family, finances, health, future, or ministry—bring it before God. Prayer is not a sign of weakness; it is an expression of our confidence in God's ability.

When you pray instead of worry, God gives you something greater than an immediate answer—His peace. Verse 7 says that the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. You may not have the solution yet, but you can have peace while waiting on God.

Prayer:
Lord, I surrender every worry and burden in my heart to You. Teach me to pray instead of worrying. Fill my heart with Your peace and strengthen my faith to trust You completely. Let every situation that is causing me anxiety turn into a testimony, in Jesus' name. Amen.

WORD CORNER FOR TODAY: CAST YOUR BURDEN UPON THE LORD

Scripture:
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

Message:
There are burdens we carry that God never intended us to carry alone. Sometimes we worry about tomorrow, our family, finances, health, ministry, or situations that seem beyond our control. But the Word of God gives us a better way: cast your burden upon the Lord.

To cast your burden means to hand it over to God and trust Him with it. God is not asking you to pretend that your problems do not exist; He is asking you to trust Him in the midst of them. When you give your cares to Him, you are acknowledging that He is greater than the situation you are facing.

Psalm 55:22 says that the Lord will sustain you. That means He will give you strength to stand, grace to continue, and help when you need it. 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us that we can cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. Not some of your cares— all of them.

Therefore, don't allow worry to take the place of faith. Take your burdens to God in prayer and leave them in His hands. The same God who sustained you yesterday will sustain you today and carry you into your tomorrow.

Prayer:
Lord, I surrender every burden, worry, fear, and concern into Your hands. Give me the grace to trust You completely. Sustain me when I am weak, strengthen me when I am discouraged, and give me peace in the midst of every storm. I believe that You care for me and that You will never abandon me. In Jesus name, Amen.

WORD CORNER FOR TODAY: THE NAME THAT IS ABOVE EVERY OTHER NAME

Scripture: Philippians 2:9–11

Message:
There is a name that is greater and higher than every other name—the name of Jesus Christ. God has highly exalted Him and given Him a name that is above every name. His name carries authority, power, victory, and salvation.

Every situation has a name. Sickness has a name, poverty has a name, failure has a name, fear has a name, and disappointment has a name. But no matter what your situation is called, there is a name that is above that situation—the name of Jesus.

When you call upon the name of Jesus in faith, you are calling upon the One who has all power in heaven and on earth. Therefore, do not allow your circumstances to make you lose hope. Trust in Jesus, because what is impossible with man is possible with God.

Today, I declare that every negative name attached to your life shall bow to the name of Jesus. Every power resisting your progress shall bow, every closed door shall open, and every battle shall turn into victory. The name of Jesus is above every other name, and your testimony shall be established in His mighty name. Amen.

*Prayer:*
Lord Jesus, let Your name be glorified in my life. Let every situation contrary to Your will bow to Your mighty name. Give me victory, breakthrough, healing, restoration, and a new testimony, in Jesus name. Amen.

Topic: I AM THE LORD THAT HEALTH THEE.

Text: Exodus 15:26

Message:
God revealed Himself as Jehovah Rapha — the Lord who heals. Healing is part of His nature. When sickness, pain, weakness, or affliction comes, we can turn to God with confidence because He is still our Healer.

Doctors may help, medicine may be useful, and people may support us, but our ultimate hope is in the Lord. Do not allow your present condition to make you doubt God's power. Keep trusting Him, keep praying, and keep believing.

The Lord who healed yesterday is still the Lord who heals today.

Prayer:

Father, I trust You as my Healer. Let Your healing power touch every area of my life. Heal every sickness, strengthen every weakness, and restore everything that has been damaged. Let Your peace and life flow through me, in Jesus' name. Amen.
