As you go through this weekend, I declare that your trust in the Lord will keep you steadfast, unmovable, and firmly established in every area of your life, in Jesus' name.

No storm, opposition, or challenge shall shake your faith, for you are rooted in God like Mount Zion, in Jesus' name.

Your family, career, ministry, and endeavors shall stand strong and endure because the Lord is your confidence, in Jesus' name.

Receive divine stability and preservation; you shall not be displaced from the place of God's purpose for your life, in Jesus' name.

Every plan of the enemy to destabilize your peace, progress, or destiny is overturned in Jesus' name.

As mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds you with His protection, favor, and mercy this weekend, and always, in Jesus' name.

Fear, anxiety, and uncertainty have no place in your heart, because your trust is anchored in the Lord, in Jesus' name.

*Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. Philippians 3:13 TLB*

As we flick the calendar to a new year, we come face to face with the fact that our days on earth are numbered. As the Psalmist wrote, “Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” No thoughtful person can approach New Year’s Day without some introspection. We are reminded of the brevity of time. We also look back over our failures, mistakes, and missed opportunities, and vow that we will make better use of our time during the coming year. We should take time to be pleasant, to smile, to extend the small courtesies we often omit to show love to our family. Psychiatrists tell us that most people are starved for love. Take time for the goodbye kiss; we shall go to work with a sweeter spirit. Let us take time to get acquainted with our families. We are not machines. We are not robots. Hallelujah!

Dearly Beloved, The secret of a happy home is that members of the family learn to give and receive love. Let: us take time to express our love in a thousand ways.

*Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19*

In this passage, Prophet Isaiah spoke words of comfort and hope to Israel after the humiliation of captivity in Babylon and the national shame that followed. He wanted them to understand that meaningful progress would be impossible if they remained tied to the past. Their restoration depended on letting go of former pains and fixing their gaze on the future God was unfolding. Isaiah anchored this assurance on the endless possibilities found in God’s promise to do a new thing.
As we step into the New Year, this message remains timely. We must release the impossibilities, failures, and disappointments of the past and focus on what God has promised ahead. Though the world we live in is uncertain and unpredictable, we serve a God who knows the end from the beginning. The angry, bitter, and painful words spoken against us in the past year must not be carried forward. Old negative thoughts must be buried, and our future must be shaped by positive declarations rooted in faith.

Dearly Beloved, this New Year calls for trust trusting God in moments of fear, uncertainty, and transition. The failure, distress, disappointment, and losses of the past year will surely give way to progress, restoration, and success. God has promised to make a way where there seems to be none and to make all things beautiful in His time.
You have nothing to fear. Embrace the endless possibilities God has prepared for you.
