TOPIC: RESTORATION BY FIRE
OPENING TEXT:
“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…” — Joel 2:25 (KJV)

There are losses that money cannot repair and seasons that human effort cannot recover. Joel spoke to people who had watched devastation consume what once gave them hope. Yet God did not tell them merely to forget the past; He promised restoration. This reveals something important about God: He is not limited by the damage that has already happened.

Restoration does not always mean receiving the exact thing back in its former condition. God can restore by bringing greater purpose out of what was lost. Job lost much, but “the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning” (Job 42:12). Peter denied Jesus, yet Christ restored him and entrusted him with responsibility in feeding His sheep (John 21:15–17). What looks like the end can become the place where God begins rebuilding.

The phrase “by fire” reminds us that restoration is sometimes accompanied by God's purifying work. Fire consumes what cannot remain and refines what must endure. “He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver” (Malachi 3:3). Therefore, do not ask God only to restore what was lost; allow Him to restore you—your faith, discipline, prayer life, courage, and obedience. God's greatest restoration is not always putting something back into your hands; sometimes it is making you ready to handle what He is bringing next.

I pray for you this day,the Lord restore what was lost and strengthen what remains.
May your latter season carry greater fruitfulness than your former in Jesus mighty name.

God can rebuild what devastation has touched. His restoration may involve both recovering what was lost and refining you for what He intends to do next.

PRAYER POINTS
- Father, restore every good thing that was lost through circumstances beyond my control.

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” — Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV)

Prayer is not talking into an empty space. When you call upon God, you are calling upon One who hears, knows, and responds according to His wisdom and purpose. Jeremiah was not given an invitation to complain; he was given an invitation to call. There are answers that will never be discovered until you pray.

Sometimes, however, we mistake the manner of the answer. God may say yes, wait, or lead you in a direction you did not expect. Jesus said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find” (Matthew 7:7). The delay of an answer does not mean the rejection of your prayer. Elijah prayed, and rain came after persistent prayer (James 5:17–18). Hannah prayed with tears, and God remembered her (1 Samuel 1:10–20). Their stories remind us that prayer is not wasted before God.

Therefore, do not allow yesterday's unanswered question to silence today's prayer. Keep bringing your desires before the Lord, while trusting His judgment more than your timetable. A praying believer is never helpless, because prayer places human limitations before divine ability. Your responsibility is to ask in faith and remain obedient; God's responsibility is to answer according to His perfect will.

May God cause you to recognise His answers. I declare over you,this month your testimony will prove that your prayers were not in vain in Jesus name.

God hears the prayers of His people and answers according to His wisdom and will. Keep praying, even when the answer does not come according to your timetable.

TOPIC: TRUSTING GOD WHEN YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND HIM

OPENING TEXT:
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

There are seasons when God's dealings with us makes little or no sense. You prayed, yet the door closed. You trusted Him, yet the situation became more difficult. In such moments, faith is not having an explanation for everything; faith is trusting the One who knows what you do not know.

Joseph could not have understood why his brothers sold him, yet what looked like a terrible interruption was part of a larger purpose (Genesis 50:20). Abraham was asked to offer Isaac, the very son through whom God had promised to fulfil His covenant. He obeyed even when he could not see how God's promise and God's instruction could fit together. “By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac” (Hebrews 11:17). Sometimes God will give you an instruction before He gives you an explanation. If you insist on understanding everything before obeying, you may miss what faith is teaching you.

God sees the entire picture while we see only a moment. Your inability to understand God's process does not mean He has lost control of your life. Isaiah 55:8–9 reminds us that His thoughts and ways are higher than ours. So when you cannot trace His hand, trust His character. Keep praying. Keep obeying. Keep walking. The same God who was faithful yesterday has not changed today. What looks confusing now will become clear when you look back tomorrow. I pray for you as God's servant, you will not miss what God has for you in Jesus name

You do not need to understand everything God is doing before you trust Him. His wisdom is greater than your understanding, and His faithfulness remains constant.

TOPIC: THE DANGERS OF GIVING UP TOO SOON

OPENING TEXT:
“For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” — Hebrews 10:36 (KJV)

One of the greatest dangers in the journey of faith is giving up when the answer is closer than you think. We often judge God's work by what we can see, but God is not limited to what is visible. A delayed answer is not necessarily a denied promise.

Elijah prayed and nothing seemed to happen immediately, yet he sent his servant back seven times before the cloud appeared (1 Kings 18:43–44). The seventh time, there was only a little cloud, but that little sign carried the evidence of an approaching rain. What looks insignificant may be the first evidence that your season is changing. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” The danger of giving up too soon is that you may abandon the field just before harvest. You may stop praying before the answer comes, leave the assignment before the fruit appears, or walk away from a promise because the process became uncomfortable.

Faith is not only believing God when the evidence is visible; sometimes it is standing on His Word when there is no evidence at all. Abraham waited for the fulfilment of God's promise, and Scripture says, “he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief” (Romans 4:20). Do not let today's difficulty make you cancel tomorrow's testimony. Stay with God. Keep praying. Keep obeying. Keep believing. Your season of harvest has come in Jesus.

Do not abandon your faith because the answer is taking time. God works beyond what your eyes can see, and perseverance keeps you positioned for the appointed harvest.

1. Father, strengthen me wherever I am becoming weary, and give me grace to remain steadfast until my appointed harvest comes.

TOPIC: HE CHANGES TIMES AND SEASONS

OPENING TEXT:
“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings...” — Daniel 2:21 (KJV)

There are seasons in life that do not remain forever. God has the authority to change what looks permanent and to bring a new chapter when the appointed time comes.

Sometimes, a person can look at their present situation and conclude that nothing will ever change. But Daniel reminds us that God “changeth the times and the seasons.” He is not limited by the calendar of men. Joseph moved from the prison to the palace in one day (Genesis 41:14, 41). David moved from the wilderness to the throne when his appointed time came. Esther, who was an ordinary young woman, found herself positioned for an extraordinary assignment. What God has ordained for your life does not have to follow the pattern of your past. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Perhaps you have been waiting for a change, and the waiting has made you tired. Do not allow a difficult season to become your identity. God can close one chapter and open another. He can turn mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), restore what has been lost (Joel 2:25), and make a way where there seems to be none (Isaiah 43:19). Your present season is not the final word concerning your life. May the Lord cause a divine shift in every area that has remained stagnant, and may you recognise and walk into the season He is bringing you into.

DAILY DIGEST:
God is the Lord over times and seasons. Never mistake a temporary season for a permanent condition; when God steps in, He can change the course of a life.

I will not miss what God has prepared for me.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, by Your power, let every season of delay, stagnation, and limitation in my life give way to the season You have ordained for me, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, give me discernment to recognise my new season and the wisdom to respond correctly when You open the doors You have prepared for me, in Jesus’ name.
