IF ONLY CATHOLICS KNEW...
A popular dictum says; YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE UNTIL IT IS TAKEN AWAY FROM YOU. The veracity of this expression can never be over emphasized, especially as it concerns Catholics and believe in the power of the Holy Eucharist.
While distributing Holy Communion yesterday during mass, I discovered a particular young girl who was not a communicant. I refused her the Holy Communion and told her to see me after the mass. While interrogating her, she admitted she is not a Catholic, but a Pentecostal, a member of Assemblies of God Church. She went ahead to say she came to receive the Holy Communion because she has an examination the following day and she believes in the power of the Holy Communion. I was so edified by what she said. I catechised her, told her what to do to become a communicant in the Catholic Church.
Two years ago, a young man at the verge of receiving the Holy Communion was also discovered and when he was interrogated said his pastor had a healing session for him and told him to go to any Catholic Church and receive Holy Communion to complete the healing process. Last year a video of one of the preachings of a renowned pentecostal pastor Benny Hinn went viral, where he said that miracles happen more in the Catholic Church during mass because of the Eucharist than in any other Church.(You can check this out on youtube). This shows that these our separated Brethren know the truth, they know where the power resides. So many testimonies on the power of the Holy Eucharist abound.
The disturbing question is, DO CATHOLICS REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE? If yes, why do they go roaming from one mushroom church to the other in search of miracles when they have the source and summit of all miracles with them? The Holy Eucharist remains the tap-root of the Catholic Church because it is a manifestation of the Real Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ in the forms of bread and wine, His Body and Blood.
If you are a ROAMING CATHOLIC, roam no more, come back home and settle down, the Catholic Church has everything...
If you are a RUN-AWAY CATHOLIC, come back home, don't be ashamed, there's still room for you. Why settle for an imitation when you can access the ORIGINAL? ...
If you're are a NON-CATHOLIC, you're missing, the Catholic Church has the fullness of everything, come back home.
