Christ Nation World Missions Center Living Waters Ministry The smsWORD Ministry is a ministry committed to imparting God's people with the Living Word through the sms medium.

The smsWORD Ministry is God's idea that came to David Bassey January of 2011, but took off in the first week of April when the Lord gave the commission to start. Since April, the smsWORD messages have been sent out weekly to our growing community of readers, and we have had testimonies of blessing. The ministry is structured to function with a presiding minister, David Bassey, ministers, editors

and partners. You are welcome to join in partnering with this work to reach many more people weekly. The Lord be glorified!

*Qualifications for Missionaries seeking to serve on Northern Migrant Missions.*

1. The prospective missionary must be a believer who has given his life to Christ and has a sense of calling to reach the unreached with the gospel;

2. The prospective missionary must have developed maturity in their christian walk with attested and demonstrated Christ-like character.

3. The prospective missionary must have a thorough grasp of basic Bible teachings; especially sufficient to skillfully communicate, lead another to Christ and establish them in the way of Christ.

4. The prospective missionary must be fluent in Hausa language, able to communicate the gospel in Hausa and very conversant with the culture.

5. The prospective missionary must be willing to work full-time, focused and single-minded about the task of reaching and raising disciples among Northern migrants.

6. The prospective missionary must be willing to persist in faith and patience for the fruits that GOD is doing in His field.

7. The prospective missionary must be a believer in the miracle working power of the HOLY GHOST and the manifestation of His gifts.

8. The prospective missionary must be passionate and have a sense of urgency about reaching the unreached with the gospel.

9. The prospective missionary must be committed to learning, willing to participate in an on-going learning process that keeps the missionary sharp for the work.

10. The prospective missionary must be willing to work with a team and submit to leadership of the mission with accountability.

*Terms of service.*

• It's a full time engagement.

• Every missionary has an agreed tenure with clearly stated time of engagement which can be extended based on the consent and faithfulness of the missionary.

• The feeding, transportation to and from his or her home state, transportation within the area of work, and housing will be provided by the mission.

• This is a voluntary service to the LORD but the mission shall provide stipends at regular times to support the missionary.

• The mission is willing to receive as much as a year long commitment of service and beyond but the least is three months.

• A missionary cannot terminate his agreed tenure of service without good reasons. It won't be acceptable but when granted, the mission will not be responsible for such decision.

• The mission expects missionaries to put in constant, diligent, persistent efforts in the work of soul winning, discipleship training and other works as pertains to the mission.

• The mission expects the missionary to provide constant feedback for records and accountability with the mission coordinator.

Northern Migrant Missions

Northern Migrant Missions is our commitment at CNWMC to preach the gospel to unevangelized Northern moslems and animists who have migrated to the south of Nigeria.

Our gospel vision for this work is to see GOD move among Northern migrant populations in the south, making disciples among them, equipping them to reach their migrant community and also their hometowns in the North.

Our reliance for the fulfillment of this gospel vision is the power of the Holy Spirit and the gospel, working through yielded vessels who give themselves to the mission.

The flow of the work is as follows:

• We determine and select a Northern migrant concerntration in a southern Nigeria city and begin to pray, observe and collect data on the area.

• We prayerfully recruit christian missionary workers who are fluent with the Hausa language and culture or seasoned cross-cultural workers on a long term or short term basis.

• We arrange for their housing, feeding, transportation and regular stipends.

• We take them through induction and training into the vision, strategy and the spiritual ecosystem by which the work will be carried out.

• We release them into the migrant community concentration to begin work.

• We prepare a convenient, safe meeting place for discipleship and training of new disciples.

• We oversee the work, regularly sharpening the missionaries with feedback, mentoring, fellowship and trainings.

• We trust GOD for a move of the Spirit through our obedience to His commision, birthing and nurturing new believers, enabling us to train, equip and send them back to disciple their own people.

By the grace of GOD, we want to see this mission working in every southern city, bearing fruits to the glory of GOD.

You can do this through the gift of your time, join us online in heartfelt prayers for this mission.

You can do this by volunteering to help with remote or on-the-ground work as regards the mission.

As a Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri or Fufulde speaker, you can help with many duties including translation and fellowship.

You can give money to the work.

Our first and current city of engagement is the Anambra-Enugu boundary towns which has a rich concerntration of Northern migrants.

The work flow described above has begun.
