GRACE : GOD'S GIFT TO HELP US WALK IN THE SPIRIT.
We watch little children as they learn how to walk, they fall many times but that does not discourage them from trying again.
They continue to make attempts to walk, until they are able to start walking and even start running😁.
It's usually very exciting for both the child and their parents.
Likewise, when we become Born Again, we are like children who are learning to walk in the new Kingdom lifestyle to which we now belong.
Before we became Born Again, we were used to living our lives by our emotions, but now we have to live by the Spirit of God.
This doesn't happen automatically.
Young Christian like little children fall again and again in their bid to walk in the Spirit (live above the sinful nature of man).
But just as the little child didn't give up on walking, probably multivated on seeing other children/adults walking around them, young Christians are to understand that walking is possible, and not give up on trying to walk in the Spirit by the reason of the fallings that they've experienced.
Thank God that HE didn't leave us to struggle by ourselves in the walk, but rather HE made grace available for us through Jesus Christ.
"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"_(Titus 2:11-12 KJV)
Unfortunately, some Christians who found themselves falling again and again are now weary of trying to walk.
So instead of employing grace as a tool that has been provided by God to help them rise above living in the flesh, they decided to wrongfully apply it, to say that grace covers for their carnal living (heresy), as an excuse for not persisting to live in the Spirit as required by God.
It makes no sense for God to send HIS only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to live on earth, disciple men on how to live the life of the Kingdom of God, die bearing the sins of the whole world, rise again victorious above sin and death... All for the sake of making grace available for us to continue to live in sin (which HE has destroyed by dying for us)-But thank God that is not the case.
"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." (Romans 6:6 KJV)
There is room to ask God for grace to live above sin.
Remember the saints who have gone before us and be encouraged that it is absolutely possible to overcome the flesh by walking in the Spirit.
PLEASE carefully READ ROMANS Chapter SIX with the help of the Holy Spirit for more understanding.
GLORY BE TO GOD THAT THE GRACE TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT IS AVAILABLE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST...HALLELUJAH!
