God can take you at of Egypt but can not take Egypt out of you,
Though God can save you from the devil he can't take the devil(sin) away from you
Salvation occur at two level based on the personality involved
In the first level,upon permission through confession of our lips and meditation of our heart the holy spirit brings you into the fold of redemption and deliver you from the bonds of the devil
However the second level is continuous which has to be done by you, you have to pull out all seeds(sins) planted by the devil and watered by you
