With profound sorrow and tearful hearts, the entire membership of St. Michael Orthodox Parish Uli announces the passing of our esteemed Central Catechist and a steadfast pillar of our cherished parish community.

Sir Joseph Onye was a devoted member of the Orthodox faith and a foundational figure within the Parish for many years. He valiantly fought the good fight for Christ, winning souls along the way, and has now returned to answer the call of his Creator. We fervently pray that as he approaches the throne of God, he may receive mercy and find comfort in the bosom of Abraham.

Eternal be his memory; our dear Catechist will forever be remembered with honor.

Welcome Back, Fr. Cornelius!

WITH THE BLESSINGS OF HIS EMINENCE ARCHBISHOP NIKODEMUS OF NIGERIA..

We were thrilled to welcome back our beloved parish priest, Fr. Cornelius, who is on study holiday, Fr. Cornelius celebrated the Divine Liturgy with us yesterday, and we are grateful for his spiritual guidance and leadership.

A Sweet Surprise!

After the liturgy, Fr. Cornelius shared a sweet treat with the children of our parish, St. Michael's. It was a wonderful way to cap off a beautiful Sunday morning, and we are so grateful for his thoughtfulness.

May the miracle of the Feeding of the Five Thousand inspire us to trust in God's abundance and provision. May we always remember that with God, there is always enough, and may we never forget to share our blessings with others.

Thank you, Fr. Cornelius, for your dedication and love for our parish family. We are blessed to have you back home!

On Saturday being the 7th day of October 2023 Archimandrite Fr. Cornelius Osuji visited the Grave of our Late Father and Shepherd, Metropolitan Alexander, in Athens, Greece.

May the soul of Father and Shepherd Metropolitan Alexander and the soul of the faithful departed through the mercy of Christ rest in peace..
