SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT — NOT EVERY CELEBRATION IS OF GOD

Main Texts:

Ephesians 5:11

2 Corinthians 2:11

1 Peter 5:8

Hosea 4:6

Introduction

Many believers are spiritually asleep and do not understand that not every celebration, festival, carnival, masquerade gathering, shrine ceremony, or public rejoicing is approved by God. Some people only look at the physical side — the dancing, music, entertainment, money, food, and excitement — but spiritually there may be hidden powers, evil covenants, satanic altars, territorial spirits, and demonic activities operating behind those gatherings.

The Bible warns believers in Ephesians 5:11:

> “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

A true child of God must have spiritual discernment. Many evil men and women gather physically, but spiritually they are working with powers of darkness. Some ceremonies are not ordinary entertainment. Behind many of them are hidden satanic agendas to strengthen evil altars, renew ancient covenants, invoke territorial spirits, release affliction, spread immorality, and pollute the spiritual atmosphere of the land.

The Enemy Also Has an Agenda

Many Christians know that God has a purpose, but they forget that Satan also has plans, expectations, and assignments against souls, churches, families, and communities. The enemy is not sleeping. Darkness is always looking for ways to enter territories and influence people spiritually.

John 10:10 says:

> “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”

This means Satan has an evil mission. Some ungodly festivals and ceremonies become open doors for demonic influence, manipulation, bo***ge, fear, oppression, confusion, and spiritual corruption.

That is why believers must be spiritually watchful and prayerful. The enemy studies territories, families, churches, and individuals looking for open doors through compromise, prayerlessness, sin, and spiritual ignorance.

Hosea 4:6 says:

> “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

Not Every Celebration Is Spiritually Safe

Many people think giving money to masquerades, supporting shrine festivals, sitting down to watch evil displays, rejoicing with ungodly ceremonies, or participating in certain pagan traditions does not matter spiritually. Some even say, “It is only culture,” or “It is only entertainment.” But a believer must ask: What spirit is behind it?

Not everything that is popular is spiritually safe. Not every gathering carries the presence of God. Some celebrations are deeply connected to idols, shrines, occult powers, ancestral covenants, and satanic dedication.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:20–21:

> “The things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God… Ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.”

A believer must be careful not to support darkness knowingly or unknowingly. Some people contribute money, clap hands, celebrate, dance, or honour masquerades and shrine activities without understanding the spiritual implications connected to such practices.

Spiritual Influence Behind Evil Gatherings

Many evil gatherings are not empty physically or spiritually. Some are used to:

Renew evil covenants.

Strengthen territorial powers.

Invoke marine spirits and ancestral demons.

Release oppression and affliction into communities.

Spread immorality and spiritual pollution.

Manipulate destinies and weaken prayer altars.

Introduce fear and bo***ge into the land.

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 2:11:

> “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

The enemy works through deception. Many people only see the physical celebration but do not understand the hidden spiritual activities taking place behind the scenes.

The Church Must Wake Up

This is not the time for believers to be spiritually careless. The church must wake up in holiness, discernment, fasting, and prayer. When believers stop praying, darkness gains ground. Evil altars become stronger when the fire on Christian prayer altars dies.

1 Peter 5:8 says:

> “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

Satan fears a praying church. When believers arise in intercession, evil agendas collapse, satanic expectations fail, and demonic operations are scattered.

When the church prays:

Evil covenants break.

Witchcraft powers scatter.

Territorial demons lose control.

Satanic expectations fail.

Evil altars collapse.

The fire of God purifies the land.

Psalm 68:1 says:

> “Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered.”

Conclusion

Believers must ask God for spiritual understanding in this generation. Not every celebration is harmless. Not every public gathering is spiritually clean. Christians must avoid every appearance of evil and stand firmly for righteousness and holiness.

Jesus Christ is Lord over every shrine, every altar, every masquerade power, every deity, every witchcraft operation, and every kingdom of darkness. The church must arise, keep the fire of prayer burning, and stand as light in the midst of darkness.

INTRODUCTION

Many pastors began their journey with tears, holiness, fasting, brokenness, prayer, and deep hunger for Jesus Christ. They loved righteousness, feared sin, hated compromise, and desired heaven sincerely. But along the journey, many became spiritually weak because they stopped watching over their souls carefully.

Some became too busy with ministry and forgot their relationship with God. Some lost their prayer fire. Some allowed pride, money, immorality, anger, competition, and worldly desires to enter their hearts. Some still stand on the altar physically, but spiritually they are already buried.

A pastor can preach powerfully and still become empty inside if he neglects his spiritual life.

Paul said:

> “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
— 1 Corinthians 9:27

This warning is deep and fearful. A pastor must not only preach to others; he must watch his own soul carefully daily.

---

1. PASTOR, WATCH YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS

Ministry is not equal to intimacy with God. Church activities cannot replace fellowship with Jesus Christ.

Many pastors prepare messages but no longer prepare their hearts before God. Many preach about prayer but secretly struggle to pray. Many encourage members spiritually while they themselves are spiritually dry.

Jesus said:

> “Abide in me, and I in you…”
— John 15:4

Without daily fellowship with Christ, a pastor will slowly lose spiritual strength.

A pastor must ask himself:

Am I still hungry for God?

Do I still cry before God?

Is my secret prayer life alive?

Do I still tremble at God’s Word?

Am I still walking in holiness privately?

---

2. WATCH YOUR PRAYER ALTAR

Prayer is the spiritual oxygen of a servant of God. When prayer weakens, temptation becomes stronger.

Jesus warned:

> “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation…”
— Matthew 26:41

A prayerless pastor becomes vulnerable spiritually.

Weak prayer leads to weak discernment

Weak prayer leads to spiritual dryness

Weak prayer leads to compromise

Weak prayer opens doors to temptation

The devil fears pastors who maintain strong prayer altars with holiness and sincerity.

---

3. WATCH AGAINST SPIRITUAL PRIDE

Pride is one of the greatest destroyers of ministers.

Pride of revelation

Pride of church growth

Pride of miracles

Pride of title

Pride of spiritual gifts

Lucifer fell because pride entered his heart.

Isaiah 14:12–15

God can use a man greatly, but the man must remain humble continually.

> “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
— James 4:6

A proud pastor is already moving toward spiritual downfall.

---

4. WATCH YOUR SECRET LIFE

A pastor can appear holy publicly while secretly fighting hidden darkness.

God sees beyond the pulpit.

Secret lust

Secret anger

Secret bitterness

Secret greed

Secret jealousy

Secret compromise

Paul told Timothy:

> “Take heed unto thyself…”
— 1 Timothy 4:16

Before public disgrace comes, private compromise has already started secretly.

---

5. WATCH YOUR HEART DAILY

The heart determines spiritual direction.

> “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
— Proverbs 4:23

A pastor must guard:

His thoughts

His desires

His motives

His emotions

His spiritual sensitivity

The downfall of many ministers started first inside the heart before it manifested openly.

---

6. KEEP YOUR EYES ON HEAVEN

This world is temporary. Fame, money, buildings, crowds, and titles will pass away. Heaven must remain the pastor’s highest focus.

Demas abandoned spiritual life because he loved this world.

2 Timothy 4:10

A pastor who forgets eternity can easily become spiritually careless.

---

SIGNS OF SPIRITUAL BURIAL IN A PASTOR

1. Loss of hunger for prayer

2. No burden for holiness

3. Secret compromise becomes normal

4. Messages lose spiritual conviction

5. Pride increases gradually

6. Love for worldly things increases

7. Sin no longer brings deep repentance

8. The fear of God disappears

9. Spiritual dryness increases

10. Ministry becomes performance instead of genuine spiritual life

---

HOW TO ESCAPE SPIRITUAL BURIAL

A. Return to Daily Repentance

Never stop examining yourself before God.

> “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith…”
— 2 Corinthians 13:5

---

B. Stay Close to Jesus Daily

Do not allow ministry activities to replace personal fellowship with Christ.
---

C. Remain Humble Always

Humility preserves spiritual life and divine grace.
---

D. Maintain Strong Prayer and Fasting

Prayer keeps spiritual fire alive continually.
---

E. Keep Heaven Before Your Eyes

Always remember eternity and the judgment seat of Christ .

A CRY OF WARNING, REPENTANCE, AND RETURN BACK TO JESUS CHRIST 17/5/2026

A SOLEMN MESSAGE TO ALL BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS, CHURCHES, MINISTERS, SISTERS, BROTHERS, AND THE WHOLE WORLD

Beloved people of God, the hour is late. Heaven is watching. The earth is filled with religion but lacking true holiness. Many people claim to know Jesus Christ, yet their hearts are far away from Him. Many churches are full, many ministers are popular, many believers are active in religion, but heaven is asking one serious question:

“Where is true repentance? Where is holiness? Where is complete surrender to Jesus Christ?”

The world has entered dangerous spiritual deception. Many believers now trust in:

objects,

symbols,

images,

visions,

emotional prophecies,

traditions,

and human systems

more than they trust in the living Word of God.

Today many people carry:

chaplets,

images,

statues,

bangles,

charms,

spiritual rings,

prayer ropes,

special oils,

stickers,

candles,

garments,

handkerchiefs,

spiritual water,

symbolic chains,

pictures,

and religious objects

while their hearts remain far from true holiness and repentance.

Many people kneel before objects yet refuse to kneel before God in brokenness and repentance.

JESUS CHRIST IS CALLING THE CHURCH BACK TO HOLINESS

\text{Hebrews }12:14

Without holiness no man shall see the Lord.

Not visions alone.
Not miracles alone.
Not church attendance alone.
Not titles alone.
Not spiritual gifts alone.

God is looking for broken hearts, clean hands, pure minds, and holy living.

MANY PEOPLE KNOW RELIGION BUT DO NOT KNOW JESUS PERSONALLY

Many know church systems but do not know Christ deeply.
Many defend traditions but ignore the Bible.
Many follow men but refuse to follow Jesus completely.

\text{Matthew }15:8-9

“These people draw near unto me with their mouth… but their heart is far from me.”

God is not looking for empty religion.
God is looking for true surrender.

THE EARLY APOSTLES NEVER BUILT CHRISTIANITY UPON OBJECTS

The apostles preached:

repentance,

holiness,

salvation,

prayer,

faith,

obedience,

and the Holy Spirit.

They did not teach believers to depend on:

images,

statues,

chaplets,

spiritual objects,

or outward religious materials.

\text{Acts }2:42

The early church continued steadfastly in apostolic doctrine — not human traditions.

GOD WARNS AGAINST IMAGE WORSHIP AND SPIRITUAL DEPENDENCE ON OBJECTS

\text{Exodus }20:4-5

God commanded His people not to bow before graven images.

Anything that replaces total trust in God becomes dangerous spiritually.

No image can save you.
No statue can save you.
No object can save you.
No religious material can wash away sin.

Only Jesus Christ saves.

\text{Acts }4:12

MANY ARE DECEIVED THROUGH FALSE REVELATIONS

Many believers today run after:

visions,

dreams,

prophecies,

voices,

supernatural experiences,

and emotional manifestations,

without testing them through Scripture.

But Jesus warned:

\text{Matthew }7:21-23

Many will say: “Lord, Lord…”

Yet Jesus will say: “I never knew you.”

This should shake every soul deeply.

SATAN ALSO WORKS THROUGH RELIGIOUS DECEPTION

\text{2 Corinthians }11:14

Satan can appear as an angel of light.

Not every spiritual manifestation comes from God.

Some revelations produce:

pride,

confusion,

fear,

bo***ge,

spiritual dependence on objects,

and worship of men.

But the Holy Spirit always leads people to:

holiness,

repentance,

humility,

truth,

and Jesus Christ alone.

TEST EVERY SPIRIT

\text{1 John }4:1

Believers must stop following everything blindly.

Test every doctrine.
Test every prophecy.
Test every vision.
Test every teaching.

If it contradicts the Bible, reject it.

MANY CHURCHES HAVE LEFT THE TRUE GOSPEL

Many churches now entertain people but no longer preach:

repentance,

holiness,

sin,

judgment,

eternity,

and the fear of God.

Many ministers seek:

fame,

wealth,

popularity,

and power

instead of brokenness before God.

Many believers now defend pastors more than they defend the truth of Scripture.

But heaven is not moved by popularity.

\text{Matthew }7:15

Jesus warned: “Beware of false prophets…”

LOOK UNTO JESUS CHRIST ALONE

\text{Hebrews }12:2

Do not place your faith in:

objects,

systems,

denominations,

personalities,

or traditions.

Look unto Jesus Christ daily.

He alone died for your sins.
He alone can forgive.
He alone can save.
He alone can give eternal life.

THE TRUE EVIDENCE OF SALVATION

The evidence of true salvation is not:

loud religion,

spiritual titles,

visions,

outward appearance,

or emotional excitement.

The true evidence is:

holiness,

humility,

repentance,

obedience,

purity,

meekness,

and the fruits of the Spirit.

\text{Galatians }5:22-23

JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON

\text{Revelation }22:12

Jesus Christ is coming back.

The trumpet will sound.
The dead will rise.
Every secret life will be exposed.
Every soul will stand before God.

This is not the time for spiritual games.

This is the time for:

repentance,

holiness,

brokenness,

prayer,

fasting,

reconciliation,

and surrender to God.

A FINAL CRY TO THE WHOLE WORLD

Beloved believers: return back to Jesus Christ.

Ministers: return back to holiness.

Churches: return back to truth.

Young men and women: return back to purity.

Stop trusting in objects.
Stop defending deception.
Stop replacing Scripture with traditions.
Stop following blind religion without searching the Bible.

\text{John }14:6

Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life…”

There is no other way to eternal life outside Jesus Christ.

MAY EVERY HEART REPENT BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

May tears of repentance fall again in the church.
May broken hearts return to God again.
May true holiness rise again.
May the fear of God return again.
May believers hunger for righteousness again.
May Jesus Christ be lifted above every object, every tradition, every man, and every deception.

PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE TO ALL BELIEVERS, CHURCHES, MINISTERS, SISTERS, BROTHERS, AND THE WHOLE WORLD

SO THAT SOULS MAY REPENT, RETURN TO JESUS CHRIST, AND BE SAVED BEFORE HIS COMING.

WAKE UP CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST — RETURN BACK TO THE TRUE GOSPEL BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

Believers all over the world must wake up spiritually. This is not the time to play with salvation, compromise with sin, or follow churches blindly without testing their teachings with the Word of God. Many people today sit comfortably in churches, yet their lives are far from true repentance, holiness, righteousness, and obedience to Jesus Christ.

The Bible says:

«“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith…”
— Second Epistle to the Corinthians 13:5»

Many churches today preach messages that satisfy human desires but do not prepare souls for eternity. Some preach only prosperity without repentance. Some preach miracles without holiness. Some entertain people instead of convicting sinners to turn away from sin.

But Jesus Christ did not die on the Cross so that people would remain in sin.

«“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
— The Gospel of Matthew 1:21»

THE TRUE GOSPEL CALLS PEOPLE TO REPENTANCE

The original Gospel preached by Jesus Christ and the apostles was a Gospel of repentance, holiness, righteousness, obedience, prayer, and the fear of God.

Jesus Himself preached:

«“Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
— The Gospel of Matthew 4:17»

Today many believers no longer want correction. Many people become angry when the truth is preached. Some churches reject messages about holiness, modesty, repentance, and the fear of God because they want a comfortable Christianity without sacrifice.

But the Bible says:

«“Without holiness no man shall see the Lord.”
— Epistle to the Hebrews 12:14»

MANY CHURCHES HAVE MIXED THE HOLY THINGS OF GOD WITH WORLDLINESS

Today in many places, worldly dressing, immoral lifestyles, pride, competition, false prophecy, greed, corruption, and sinful entertainment have entered the church. Instead of separating from the world, many churches now imitate the world.

The Bible warns clearly:

«“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.”
— First Epistle of John 2:15»

God wants His people to be different from the world in character, speech, behavior, purity, and lifestyle.

WHEN A CHURCH FIGHTS YOU FOR SEEKING THE TRUTH, DISCERN THE SPIRIT BEHIND IT

Some believers discover through Bible study that certain teachings and practices in their churches contradict Scripture. When they decide to ask questions or quietly leave to seek the genuine truth of God’s Word, some leaders react with anger, hatred, intimidation, curses, gossip, and threats.

This behavior does not reflect the Spirit of Christ.

Jesus said:

«“By their fruits ye shall know them.”
— The Gospel of Matthew 7:20»

The Spirit of God produces humility, peace, patience, truth, and love — not fear and oppression.

«“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace…”
— First Epistle to the Corinthians 14:33»

A true shepherd leads people toward Christ and the Scriptures, not into fear and bo***ge.

DO NOT FEAR CURSES OR THREATS FROM MEN

Many believers remain trapped in false teachings because they are afraid that if they leave a church, something evil will happen to them. Some fear curses, prophecies, or spiritual attacks from men.

But God’s Word says:

«“There is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel.”
— Book of Numbers 23:23»

And again:

«“So the curse causeless shall not come.”
— Book of Proverbs 26:2»

If you sincerely follow Jesus Christ in holiness, prayer, obedience, and truth, the Lord Himself will defend you.

«“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?”
— Book of Psalms 27:1»

EVERY BELIEVER MUST STUDY THE BIBLE PERSONALLY

Many Christians depend completely on pastors without checking whether teachings agree with Scripture. This is dangerous. God gave His Word so every believer can learn the truth personally.

The Bible says:

«“Study to shew thyself approved unto God…”
— Second Epistle to Timothy 2:15»

And also:

«“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”
— First Epistle to the Thessalonians 5:21»

Do not follow traditions blindly. Test every doctrine, prophecy, revelation, and teaching with the Bible.

JESUS CHRIST IS COMING FOR A HOLY PEOPLE

The coming of the Lord is near. This is the time to repent sincerely, separate from sin, and prepare for eternity. Church titles, popularity, wealth, or denomination cannot save anybody.

Only genuine salvation through Jesus Christ matters.

«“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven…”
— The Gospel of Matthew 7:21»

FINAL MESSAGE TO BELIEVERS ALL OVER THE WORLD

Church of Jesus Christ, wake up spiritually. Return back to the original Gospel of repentance, holiness, righteousness, prayer, fasting, humility, and obedience to God’s Word. Do not allow fear, manipulation, false prophecy, or worldly religion to separate you from the truth.

One day every soul will stand before God personally.

«“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
— Epistle to the Romans 14:12»

Please share this message with believers, pastors, evangelists, ministers, families, youths, and churches everywhere so that many souls may open their eyes spiritually, come out from deception, and return back to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ before it is too late.

MARY IS NOT THE SAVIOR — JESUS CHRIST ALONE IS THE SAVIOR

A Deep Call to Repentance, Truth, Spiritual Awakening, and Pure Worship

Introduction

This message is not written to condemn people, insult churches, or attack sincere individuals who desire to serve God. This message is a trumpet of awakening to call men and women back to the pure truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Many people are spiritually blind, not because they hate God, but because they inherited traditions, religious systems, emotional practices, and teachings without carefully examining them through the Word of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Today, God is calling His people:

Back to truth

Back to holiness

Back to repentance

Back to spiritual understanding

Back to Jesus Christ alone

The greatest deception is not open witchcraft alone. The greatest deception is when people sincerely seek God but gradually replace the simplicity of Christ with traditions and practices never established by Jesus or His apostles.
---

1. JESUS CHRIST ALONE IS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD

The Bible never said Mary died for the sins of mankind. The Bible never said Mary shed her blood for salvation. The Bible never said salvation comes through any other person except Jesus Christ.

Only Jesus:

Was crucified

Shed His blood

Died for sinners

Rose again

Conquered death

Opened the way to eternal life

> “Neither is there salvation in any other…” — Acts 4:12

Jesus Christ alone is:

The Lamb of God

The Redeemer

The High Priest

The Mediator

The Savior

There is no second savior beside Him.
---

2. MARY WAS HIGHLY FAVORED — BUT MARY ALSO NEEDED SALVATION

Mary was blessed among women because God chose her for a divine assignment. She carried Jesus physically by the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit.

> “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee…” — Luke 1:35

This was a holy mystery.

But Mary herself was still human. Mary was not God. Mary did not become equal with Christ.

Mary herself acknowledged God as her Savior.

> “My spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.” — Luke 1:47

If Mary called God “my Savior,” then Mary also depended on divine salvation.

Jesus is the Savior. Mary was a servant chosen by grace.
---

3. DO NOT FOLLOW RELIGIOUS PRACTICES WITHOUT SEARCHING THE SCRIPTURES

One of the greatest dangers in this generation is blind religious followership.

Many people practice things because:

Their church practices it

Their parents inherited it

A famous preacher introduced it

Multitudes follow it

It looks spiritual outwardly

But God never commanded believers to follow crowds blindly.

> “Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil…” — Exodus 23:2

A practice does not become truth because many people accept it.

Truth is established only by:

The Word of God

Jesus Christ

The Holy Spirit

Many people are emotionally connected to practices they have never tested through Scripture.

But eternity is too serious for blind tradition.
---

4. ANYTHING THAT TAKES THE PLACE OF JESUS IN THE HEART BECOMES DANGEROUS

God is a jealous God.

When people begin to place spiritual confidence in:

Images

Statues

Religious formulas

Objects

Human mediators

Traditions above Scripture

their hearts can gradually move away from complete dependence on Jesus Christ.

The apostles never taught believers to depend on objects for access to God.

The apostles pointed people directly to Christ.

> “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” — 1 Timothy 2:5

The heart of Christianity is not religion. The heart of Christianity is relationship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.
---

5. MANY PEOPLE WORSHIP GOD ACCORDING TO HUMAN UNDERSTANDING

Many people sincerely love God but still mix truth with tradition.

Some worship God according to:

Culture

Family inheritance

Church systems

Emotional attachment

Human explanations

But God must be worshipped according to His own standard.

Jesus said:

> “They that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” — John 4:24

God is not looking merely for religious activity. God is looking for truth in the inward heart.
---

6. THE HOLY SPIRIT MUST LEAD THE BELIEVER

A believer must not build faith only upon:

Human leaders

Church traditions

Denominational identity

Popular teachings

The Holy Spirit must lead every true believer into truth.

> “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” — Romans 8:14

The Holy Spirit will never glorify man above Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit will never lead believers away from the simplicity of Christ.

The work of the Holy Spirit is to:

Reveal Jesus

Convict sinners

Produce holiness

Lead into truth

Prepare believers for eternity
---

7. THIS IS A GENERATION THAT MUST RETURN TO PURE CHRISTIANITY

This generation must return to:

The Bible

Holiness

Repentance

Prayer

Truth

The fear of God

Dependence on the Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ alone

Many people have religion without revelation. Many have tradition without truth. Many have emotional worship without genuine transformation.

But God is raising voices to call people back to the foundation of the Gospel.
---

CONCLUSION

This message is not meant to produce hatred. It is meant to produce:

Repentance

Reflection

Awakening

Brokenness before God

Spiritual examination

Return to biblical truth

At the end of life, God will not ask:

“What tradition did you inherit?”

“What crowd did you follow?”

“What denomination were you born into?”

God will examine whether we truly followed Jesus Christ in truth and obedience.

Jesus Christ alone saves. Jesus Christ alone redeems. Jesus Christ alone is the mediator. Jesus Christ alone must remain the center of our worship.
---

DEEP QUESTIONS FOR SELF-EXAMINATION

1. Did Jesus ever command believers to pray through Mary or any other mediator besides Himself?

2. Did the apostles teach believers to depend on religious objects for access to God?

3. If Jesus Christ is the only mediator, why should another mediator be introduced?

4. Am I following biblical truth or inherited religious traditions?

5. Have I personally searched the Scriptures to confirm what I believe?

6. Is my spiritual life centered completely on Jesus Christ?

7. Does my worship agree fully with the Word of God?

8. Am I being led by the Holy Spirit or by emotional attachment to tradition?

9. If the apostles were alive today, would they approve of my spiritual practices according to Scripture?

10. Is there anything in my life slowly replacing simple faith in Jesus Christ?

11. Am I worshipping God according to truth or according to human understanding?

12. If Jesus appeared before me today, would He approve everything I practice in His name?

WHY MANY BELIEVERS CONTINUE IN BO***GE EVEN INSIDE THE CHURCH

PART 1

INTRODUCTION

Many believers today are in church but not yet in liberty.
They sing, clap, preach, prophesy, and pray, yet many are still under hidden chains, spiritual oppression, foundational battles, secret sins, fear, anger, manipulation, lust, pride, bitterness, stagnation, and spiritual weakness.

Some people were even more serious for God when they first gave their life to Jesus than they are now. Before, they feared God, loved holiness, prayed with tears, and hated sin. But now many have become cold, prayerless, careless, worldly, and spiritually asleep. Why is this happening?

Why are many believers still in bo***ge even after years in church?
Why are many still tied down despite hearing messages every week?
Why do some still move from one deliverance ground to another without true freedom?

The answer is this:

Many people entered church, but not all truly entered Christ.
Many changed location, but never changed nature.
Many received religion, but rejected brokenness and repentance.

Jesus did not die only to make us church members.
He died to make us free indeed.

John 8:36

> “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Many believers are physically in church but spiritually imprisoned.
Their body is in the sanctuary, but their heart is still connected to Egypt.

1. MANY BELIEVERS REFUSE TRUE REPENTANCE

One major reason many believers continue in bo***ge is because they refuse genuine repentance.

Repentance is not crying only.
Repentance is not emotional shouting.
Repentance is a total turning away from sin, rebellion, pride, and disobedience.

Many want deliverance without repentance.
Many want breakthrough without holiness.
Many want power without surrender.

God cannot establish freedom where sin is still being protected.

Proverbs 28:13

> “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”

Some believers still:

Lie secretly

Fornicate secretly

Watch ungodly things secretly

Keep bitterness

Practice jealousy

Manipulate others

Live double lives

Yet they expect permanent deliverance.

Deliverance without repentance becomes temporary relief.

Acts 3:19

> “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…”

Many people are still carrying spiritual chains because they refuse to surrender completely to Jesus Christ.

2. MANY BELIEVERS LOVE CHURCH BUT HATE BROKENNESS

Brokenness is dying to self.
Brokenness is allowing God to crush pride, arrogance, flesh, ego, stubbornness, and self-will.

Many believers want title but reject transformation.
Many want position but reject correction.
Many want anointing but refuse discipline.

God cannot pour fresh oil into a proud vessel.

Psalm 51:17

> “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart…”

Some believers cannot be corrected.
Once you advise them, they become angry.
Once truth confronts them, they fight back.

That spirit keeps many people in bo***ge.

Pride is a hidden prison.

James 4:6

> “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

A believer who cannot humble himself before God can never walk in full liberty.

3. MANY HAVE RELIGION WITHOUT RELATIONSHIP

Church attendance is not equal to intimacy with God.

Many know church activities but do not know God personally.
They know choir rehearsal but not secret prayer.
They know offering time but not altar of sacrifice.
They know pastor’s voice but cannot recognize God’s voice.

Christianity is not entertainment.
It is relationship with Jesus Christ.

Matthew 15:8

> “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth… but their heart is far from me.”

Many believers have become religious prisoners.
They know how to shout “Amen,” but their spiritual life is empty.

A believer without personal relationship with God becomes vulnerable to bo***ge.

Hosea 4:6

> “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”

When prayer dies, bo***ge grows.
When holiness dies, bo***ge increases.
When the Word of God disappears from the heart, darkness gains entrance.

4. MANY STILL KEEP EVIL FOUNDATIONS ALIVE

Some believers come to Christ but still remain connected to ungodly foundations.

You cannot claim Jesus and still hold satanic covenants secretly.

Some still:

Trust charms

Fear idols

Consult dark powers secretly

Keep evil objects

Participate in ungodly practices

Honor ancestral altars above God

This opens doors for continued bo***ge.

2 Corinthians 6:14

> “What communion hath light with darkness?”

Deuteronomy 7:26

> “Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house…”

Many people pray for freedom while still protecting what is fighting them spiritually.

True deliverance requires separation from darkness.

5. MANY BELIEVERS HAVE BECOME SPIRITUALLY LAZY

Spiritual laziness is dangerous.

Many believers no longer pray seriously.
No fasting.
No Word study.
No spiritual hunger.
No fire for God.

The devil attacks weak spiritual lives easily.

Matthew 26:41

> “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation…”

Many believers were stronger spiritually years ago than now because they have allowed spiritual carelessness to enter.

Before:

They prayed with passion

They feared sin

They pursued holiness

They loved God deeply

But now:

Social media replaced prayer

Carnality replaced holiness

Entertainment replaced consecration

Compromise replaced purity

And bo***ge quietly returned.

A prayerless believer becomes an easy target for darkness.

6. MANY BELIEVERS REFUSE TO FORGIVE

Unforgiveness is a hidden chain.

Many believers are still wounded, bitter, offended, and angry.
They carry pain for years.
They smile outside but bleed inside.

Bitterness opens doors for torment.

Ephesians 4:31

> “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger… be put away from you…”

Matthew 6:15

> “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

Some believers are praying for freedom while carrying poison in their hearts.

You cannot carry hatred and expect complete liberty.

Forgiveness does not mean what happened was right.
It means you are releasing yourself from spiritual imprisonment.

7. MANY WANT JESUS AS SAVIOR BUT NOT AS LORD

Many want blessings from Jesus but refuse His authority.

They want heaven but reject obedience.
They want miracles but reject holiness.
They want deliverance but refuse surrender.

Jesus must not only save you; He must rule over you.

Luke 6:46

> “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”

Partial obedience produces partial freedom.

Some believers obey God only when convenient.
That keeps many in cycles of bo***ge and defeat.

CONCLUSION OF PART 1

Beloved, bo***ge does not continue because Jesus is weak.
Bo***ge continues because many believers refuse complete surrender.

The church is full, but many hearts are empty.
Many mouths confess Christ, but their lives resist Him.

Freedom comes when:

Repentance becomes genuine

Holiness becomes lifestyle

Prayer becomes consistent

Sin is abandoned

Pride is broken

Darkness is rejected

Jesus becomes Lord completely

Galatians 5:1

> “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free…”

Jesus is still delivering people today.
But true freedom belongs to those who are ready to die to flesh, surrender totally, and walk in holiness.
