AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST | 2 Corinthians 5:20

“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:20

An ambassador doesn’t speak for himself. He represents a King.
That’s who you are.

Wherever you are this week — at work, at home, on your street in Lagos — heaven has an assignment for you: Appeal to people on Christ’s behalf.

3 things every ambassador does:
1. Represent well – Your life should match your message. Holy, righteous, blameless – 1 Thess 2:10
2. Speak faithfully – Ọlọ́run Olóòótọ́ ni. God is faithful, and He calls us to be faithful too – Deut 7:9
3. Invite others in – “Be reconciled to God.” Don’t keep the good news to yourself.

You are not ordinary. You are heaven’s voice on earth.

To every father, spiritual father, mentor, and father-figure in our church family — we honor you today.
Your sacrifice, prayers, guidance, and quiet strength shape generations.
Just like our Heavenly Father, you reflect love, discipline, and grace in our lives.

“But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children.” – Psalm 103:17

Thank you for pointing us to Christ. May God strengthen you, renew your joy, and reward your labor of love.
