*REFLECT GOD’S LOVE AND MERCY TO OTHERS*

*Colossians 3:12-14 (GNB) You are the people of God; he loved you and chose you... So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you. And …add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.*

One of the greatest ways to show God that you really appreciate the love and mercy that He has shown to you in Christ is by reflecting that same love and mercy to others; especially to fellow believers. Jesus said whatever we do to the least of His brethren, we are doing to Him, (Matt.25:45). Love others as Christ has loved you, (John 15:12).

In The Passion Translation, our text above says, “You are always and dearly loved by God! So robe yourself with virtues of God, since you have been divinely chosen to be holy. Be merciful as you endeavor to understand others, and be compassionate, showing kindness toward all. Be gentle and humble, unoffendable in your patience with others. Tolerate the weaknesses of those in the family of faith, forgiving one another in the same way you have been graciously forgiven by Jesus Christ. If you find fault with someone, release this same gift of forgiveness to them. For love is supreme and must flow through each of these virtues. Love becomes the mark of true maturity.” Beloved, you can do all these because of Christ.

God does not want us to love in words only, but in action (1John 3:18, GNB). Showing mercy to others is a reflection of the depth of our love and our spiritual maturity. Overcome evil with good (Rom.12:21).

I thank you Father for the great love and mercy you have shown me. Use me to extend this same love and mercy to others.

*KEEP YOUR HOPE IN THE MERCY AND LOVE OF GOD*

*Psalms 147:7-11 (AMPC) Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praises …to our God!—Who covers the heavens with clouds,…prepares rain for the earth,… makes grass to grow on the mountains. …He delights not in the strength of the horse, nor does He take pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord takes pleasure in those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy and loving-kindness.*

God always wants to show Himself strong in our lives and to give us great and wonderful things that we do not deserve. When we fail to deliberately put our hope in God’s mercy and love for every area of our lives, we cut ourselves out of the grace and abundance that God has in store for us. Ephesians 2:4 (GNB) says, “But God's mercy is so abundant, and his love for us is so great.”

Of course, in all areas of your life, you must do your part and play your role diligently, but keep your hope and trust in God. “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD,” (Prov.21:31). Do not put your trust in yourself or in any man or woman or in anything else. Doing this will make you experience dryness and cut you out of the favour, freshness and abundance that God has in store for you, (Jer.17:5-8). Apostle Paul said he worked more than others, but it was not his works but the grace of God that made him everything he was, (1Cor.15:10). Make God your sufficiency.

Think of how God showed you His love and mercy in the past and let that motivate you to trust Him to show you His love and mercy right now. David acknowledged how God saved him from the lion and bear and it stirred up his faith to face and overcome Goliath (1Sam.17:37).

*Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, you are my sufficiency. My hope and absolute trust are in your great love and mercy towards me.

*_YOUR LIFE WILL BRING CHRIST GREAT JOY._*

*Isaiah 53:10-11 (KJV, GNB) _The LORD says, "It was my will that he should suffer; his death was a sacrifice to bring forgiveness. And so he will see his descendants; he will live a long life, and through him my purpose will succeed. After a life of suffering, he will again have joy; he will know that he did not suffer in vain. My devoted servant, with whom I am pleased, will bear the punishment of many and for his sake I will forgive them._*

In talking about the sufferings of Christ, in the King James Version, the first line of our text above says, “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him…” Yes, it sounds really terrible that God the Father was pleased or glad to let Jesus go through all the torment and suffering that He went through. Who will gladly let his dear and only son go through such an experience? But do you know why God was glad to let Christ go through all He went through on the cross? It was because of the glory, power, blessings and fullness of God that you were going to experience by faith in Christ. It is because of all that you were going to become and be able to do because of the suffering and death of Christ.

This is what made Christ able to go through all the suffering, shame, and pain that He went through. You are the joy that was set before Him (Heb. 12:2). By all that Christ went through on the Cross, you have now been empowered to live a glorious life and to be all that God wants you to be. The glory, power, and blessings of God in your life are unstoppable. Your life will bring great joy and glory to God. Because of you, Jesus will see and know that He did not suffer in vain. He has given you His Spirit to help you know and experience the glory, power, and blessings of His sacrifice for you (John 16:13-15), and He is also interceding for you before God the Father (Heb. 7:25).

*JESUS IS THE ANSWER*

*JOHN 11:23-27 (GNB)*
*"Your brother will rise to life," Jesus told her. "I know," she replied, "that he will rise to life on the last day." Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will live, even though they die; and those who live and believe in me will never die. Do you believe this?" "Yes, Lord!" she answered. "I do believe that you are the Messiah, … who was to come into the world."*

Is there any difficult challenge before you that seems impossible and hopeless? Right now, Jesus is saying to you that He is the answer to that situation. Do you believe this?

Martha’s brother (Lazarus) was dead and it was like a hopeless situation; probably because she had never seen any person raised back to life from the dead. Jesus met her and told her that her brother would rise to life, and she thought Jesus was talking about rising on the last day. Jesus then said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life”, meaning “I can raise anything back to life” and “I can give life to anything even though it was dead.” Her solution was right there before her but she did not know.

Beloved, whatever you need right now is in Jesus. He is an embodiment of your solution. You need to see this and believe it. The fullness of God dwells in Him (Col.2:9). Every dimension or manifestation of God that you need in your life is in Jesus. And guess what? Jesus now lives in you by His Spirit. Just as God freely gave you Christ, along with Him, God has freely given you all things (Rom. 8:32). God has given you all that pertains to life and godliness through your knowledge of Christ (2Pet.1:3).

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 22ND, 2026.

RECEIVE YOUR MIRACLE NOW!

MATTHEW 4:23-24

…Jesus went about …teaching …and preaching the gospel … and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease... And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

There is no condition that Jesus cannot heal or change.
No matter the kind of sickness or how long that issue has existed, Jesus is Lord, and He can heal that sickness and disease, and He can change that situation.
Jesus opened blind eyes, He raised the dead, He healed the lame, He opened deaf ears, He healed leprosy, He healed those who were lunatics and those who were oppressed by the devil.
There was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity and was bent over for eighteen years.
She could not lift herself up.
“And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God,” (Luke 13:12-13).

I am so glad to tell you that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
If there is any sickness or disease in your body, Jesus is healing you right now! Whenever Jesus was preaching and teaching, the power of God was present to heal, and people received their miracles and healing (Luke 5:17).
In the same way, whenever we are talking about Jesus and what He did on the Cross, and whenever we put our faith in Him, the power of God is present to heal and do miracles in our lives.
Beloved, Jesus is healing you right now. Receive your healing now and receive that miracle you desire now!

PRAYER:
I thank you, Heavenly Father, for the healing and miraculous power of Jesus that is filling my body and life right now. 🙌

*MONDAY SEPTEMBER 21ST, 2026*

*CAST DOWN THOSE IMAGINATIONS*

*2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)*

*For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; …guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.*

One of our greatest challenges as believers is that before we got saved, our minds had already been filled and programmed with thoughts that are contrary to God’s thoughts and will for our lives. As such, when we hear God’s word or when we are faced with challenges in life, there is a battle in our minds between these thoughts and mindsets that we had before and what God’s word is saying about us. Whose report will you believe? Your thoughts are as important as your prayers (Eph. 3:20). A stronghold is a set of thoughts deeply rooted in our consciousness that affect our mindset, beliefs, behaviour and attitudes.

If we are going to have victory and be all God wants us to be, we must be ready to uproot and cast down these deeply rooted negative thought systems and imaginations and make our minds accept and align with what God says about us. The basic way we do this is with our mouths. When you give voice to a thought, you are taking it or accepting it as your reality. Only give voice to God’s word. Cast down that imagination by boldly declaring what God says about you. Do not give up. Keep declaring God’s word until it becomes a stronghold in your mind. It might be for your health, prosperity, overcoming sin or even walking in love. This is a major way that we fight the good fight of faith and lay hold of eternal life (1Tim.6:12).

Boldly declare God’s word concerning that area of your life where you have been having doubts and challenges.

*SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH, 2026*

*CAN THAT SITUATION BE TURNED AROUND?*

*Ezekiel 37:1-3*
*The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.*

Just as God did to Ezekiel in our text above, right now God is asking you: “Can things still become organized and work well in that environment, organization, or sector of the economy? Can you or that person still get healed and come out of that condition? Can you or that person still get that job or promotion? Can you or that person still get married? Can you or that person still get pregnant and give birth safely? Can that church still grow? Can that business still flourish? Can you or that person still get capital and investors for that business or project? Can that contract still be approved? Can that child still be restored? Can that home still be restored? Can that person still get saved? Can you still do that course and finish successfully?

God is saying to you: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” (Jer. 32:27). Beloved, take the limits off God! Focus on God and stop allowing the dryness, ugliness, or enormity of the challenge to make you doubt the awesomeness, vastness, and unlimited nature of God’s power. When there was no reason to have hope, Abraham still had hope to become a father of many nations (Rom. 4:18). The things that are impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 18:27). With God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). All things are possible to him that believes (Mark 9:23).

*THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING IN PRAYER*

*Philippians 4:6 (GNB, LB, NLT) Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. *Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done *Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers.*

Thanksgiving is very important whenever we are praying to God. Thanksgiving does not make God answer our prayers, but it is an expression of our faith that God has heard and answered our prayers. God answers our prayers because He loves us (Matt. 7:11) and because we are praying in the name or authority of Jesus (John 16:23). Your ability to thank God for what you are praying for shows that you have confidence in His love and ability to do what you are asking for. It also shows you believe you have received. Jesus said when we pray, we should believe we receive what we are asking for and we shall have it, (Mark 11:24). God wants us to say and do all things in the name of Jesus, giving thanks unto Him through, by or because of Jesus, (Col.3:17). As you pray, God wants you to thank Him that because of Jesus He will do what you are asking for. Thank God for what His word says about you and about your need.

The verse that follows our text above shows that after praying with thanksgiving, the peace of God will flood your heart. When the peace of God floods our hearts, we begin to receive direction from God for how to receive what we have asked for. The peace of God will also guard your heart. It will keep and strengthen you as you wait for the manifestation of your desire.

Ask God in faith concerning every desire in your heart and thank Him that because of Jesus, He has answered you.

*_YIELD YOURSELF TO THE HAND OF THE LORD._*

*1 KINGS 18:46 (NKJV), 2 KINGS 3:15, EZEKIEL 3:14*

*_Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him. So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me._*

One of the meanings of the term, 'the hand of the Lord' in the scriptures is the leading and operation of the Spirit of God. Therefore, one way to yield yourself to the hand of the Lord is to yield yourself to the leading and operations of the Spirit of God in your life.

In our first text above, when the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, by the Spirit, he received strength and speed to outrun/overtake Ahab, who had earlier left in a chariot (1 Kings 18:44-45). In our second text above, as someone played the harp, the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, and he prophesied. In our third text above, Ezekiel said as the Spirit of God lifted him up, the hand of the Lord was strong upon him.

The more you are sensitive to the leading and operations of the Spirit, the more you will experience the manifestations of the hand of God in and through your life. God wants to lead you by His hand (Spirit) and use you to do great and mighty things in the lives of others. God also wants to lift you by His hand (Spirit). "Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, and He will exalt you in due time" (1 Pet. 5:6). Pray under the influence of the Spirit (Eph. 6:18) and let Him guide you in all areas of your life. Keep being filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18) and keep yielding yourself to Him. Walk in the Spirit (Ga. 5:16).
