*GUARD YOUR HEART FROM BITTERNESS AND OFFENSE*

*Psalms 106:32-33, Hebrews 12:14-15 They angered him also at the waters of strife so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes: Because they provoked his spirit so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips. *Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;*

Instead of speaking to the rock as God told him to, out of anger Moses spoke harshly to the people and then struck the rock twice. Though water still came out abundantly from the rock, God was not pleased with Moses, (Numb.20:8-12). If we are not careful, what happened to Moses can happen to anyone; especially when you are a leader.

One major way to guard your heart against bitterness and offense is by not losing sight of the love and kindness of God. When you focus more on the wickedness and hurt men give to you, bitterness and offense will take root in your heart. But when you focus more on the love and kindness of God, your heart will be so filled with the love of God that instead of allowing the evil that men do to provoke and overcome you, you will find yourself overcoming evil with good, (Rom.12:19-21).

Another way to guard your heart is by always yielding to the leading of the Spirit of God. God is always at work in you by His Spirit, making you willing and able to do His good will, (Phil.2:13). As you yield to the Spirit, instead of fulfilling the lusts of your flesh, you will develop the fruit of the Spirit, (Gal.5:16-23). “If you become angry, do not let your anger lead you into sin, and do not stay angry all day. Don't give the Devil a chance,” (Eph.4:26-27, GNB). Yield to the Spirit of God.

*Prayer:*
*Dear Father, please help me to always focus on your great love and kindness and to keep yielding myself to your Spirit, Amen 🤲*

‎*FRIDAY, MAY 22ND, 2026.*

‎*GOD WANTS YOU TO BE MORE IMPACTFUL AND EFFICIENT*

‎*EXODUS 18:13-15 & 17*
‎*The next day Moses was settling disputes among the people, and he was kept busy from morning till night. When Jethro saw everything that Moses had to do, he asked, "What is all this that you are doing for the people? Why are you doing this all alone, …" Moses answered, "I must do this because the people come to me to learn God's will. *Then Jethro said, "You are not doing this right.*

‎Moses was zealously and faithfully leading the Israelites (who were about 2 million in number) all by himself. However he was ignorant about something he was doing that was limiting his leadership impact and efficiency. In the same way, there may be things both you and many other leaders are ignorant of that can greatly enhance your impact and efficiency. God sent Moses wisdom through Jethro and by that wisdom, Moses’ leadership impact and efficiency were phenomenally enhanced. Various leaders were chosen according to their capacities, to join Moses in leading the Israelites, (Exo.18:21). More people were eventually empowered and built into leadership.

‎I pray that God will send you wisdom today that will help you take what you are doing to the next level. I pray the same for all our leaders in this nation and the Body of Christ. May the Lord phenomenally increase our impact and efficiency by opening our eyes to great and relevant wisdom. May we not resist or miss out on the wisdom that God sends to us through various sources.

‎We must, however, always be open and willing to learn and to try new things. Don’t be stuck in your old ways. Also, be willing to evaluate your work and think of ways you can improve and be more efficient.

‎*PRAYER FOCUS:*
‎*ASK GOD TO SEND YOU AND OTHER LEADERS, GREAT WISDOM THAT WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASE IN LEADERSHIP IMPACT AND EFFICIENCY.*

*THE FOCUS AND CONTENTMENT OF JESUS*

*LUKE 4:5-8 (GNB)*
*Then the Devil took him up and showed him in a second all the kingdoms of the world. "I will give you all this power and all this wealth," the Devil told him. "It has all been handed over to me, and I can give it to anyone I choose. All this will be yours, then, if you worship me." Jesus answered, "The scripture says, 'Worship the Lord your God and serve only him!'"*

In our world today, power and wealth are two things that many people are willing to do about anything to get. Power and wealth have become a god to many people. It is what they worship though they claim they are worshipping God. The Bible shows us that covetousness is idolatry, (Col.3:5b). Whatever you allow to take the place of God in your life has become a god to you. God wants us to be content and to worship Him alone. Jesus said, “Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses,” (Luke 12:15). 1 Timothy 6:6 & 10 says, “But godliness with contentment is great gain. *For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

There was a time when Jesus refused to be forcefully made king by certain people, (John 6:15). Jesus knew the path God wanted Him to take and He was willing to patiently go through it. Jesus was willing to worship God alone and as He followed God’s path for His life, He eventually received all power in Heaven and earth, (Matt.28:18, Phil.2:9). Jesus was not carried away by power, titles or fame. He did not allow His popularity and many activities to stop Him from withdrawing Himself often to pray (Luke 5:16, NIV).

*PRAYER:*
*HEAVENLY FATHER, LIKE JESUS, PLEASE HELP ME TO REMAIN CONTENT, AND FOCUSED ON YOU AND TO FOLLOW YOU AS I FULFILL MY ASSIGNMENT, AMEN🙏🏽*

*PLAY YOUR ROLE IN BUILDING OTHERS UP*

*1 CORINTHIANS 14:26 (TPT), EPHESIANS 4:16b*
*Beloved friends, what does all this imply? When you conduct your meetings, you should always let everything be done to build up the church family. Whether you share a song of praise, a teaching, a divine revelation, or a tongue and interpretation, let each one contribute what strengthens others. …And every member has been given divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all…*

The growth and perfection of the Body of Christ take place as every single part/ member of the Body of Christ grows up in Christ and effectively plays its part in blessing and building the Body of Christ, (Eph.4:16). There is something God has chosen and equipped you to do to bless and build the lives of others up. Are you faithfully doing it? Or are you still hiding that talent or ability that God has given you?

When you are preparing for a church service, your mind should not only be on what you are going to get or gain in the service, but also on what you are going to contribute to be a blessing and encouragement to others. Think and pray about this. Ask God to prepare you and use you to bless and strengthen someone in one way or the other. Romans 14:19 (GNB) says, “So then, we must always aim at those things that bring peace and that help strengthen one another.”

Look for an opportunity where you can serve and join others to be a blessing. “Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love,” (Heb. 10:24, TPT). A songwriter said, “It is His will that every need be supplied. You are important to me, I need you to survive”.

*PRAYER:*
*I THANK YOU DEAR LORD FOR CHOOSING AND EQUIPPING ME TO BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS. PLEASE USE ME TO BLESS SOMEONE TODAY AND ALWAYS, AMEN 🤲.*

*TUESDAY, MAY 19TH, 2026.*

*HAVE A STRONG RIGHTEOUSNESS CONSCIOUSNESS*

*ROMANS 10:4 (KJV, NLT, LB)*
*For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. *For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God. They don't understand that Christ gives to those who trust in him everything they are trying to get by keeping his laws. He ends all of that.*

God does not define righteousness by the obeying of the Law but by our having faith in Christ. Romans 3:21-22 (GNB) says, “But now God's way of putting people right with himself has been revealed. It has nothing to do with law, .... God puts people right through their faith in Jesus Christ. God does this to all who believe in Christ, ...” If you believe in Jesus, you are righteous. It is when you believe that you are righteous that you will be able to live a righteous life.

There is a divine exchange that took place on the Cross. Christ took our place and became our sin so that we can take His place and become His righteousness, (2 Cor.5:21). Jesus has forgiven and taken away all your sins. God has no record of them and He will never have a record of them, (Jer.31:34, Heb.8:12). “For God was in Christ, restoring the world to himself, no longer counting men's sins against them but blotting them out. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others”, (2Cor.5:19, LB). God's righteousness is a gift that comes along with His grace in Christ and He wants you to receive it abundantly, (Rom.5:17). By your faith in Christ, you now stand before God, man and the devil without a single sense of guilt or inferiority. You are perfect in the sight of God (Heb.10:14) and you have a right to all of the power and the blessings and the glory of God.

*FAITH DECLARATION:*
*MY FAITH IN CHRIST HAS MADE ME RIGHTEOUS. I MANIFEST GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS AND I HAVE A RIGHT TO THE FULLNESS OF GOD, AMEN 🤲*.

*YOU SHALL NOT EXPERIENCE SHAME*

*Joel 2:25-26, Psalms 3:3 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, ... And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. *But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.*

By His sufferings and death on the Cross for you, Jesus has taken away your shame, sorrow and pains, (Isa.53:3-5). Even when it seems like you are experiencing shame even when you are doing what is right, know that God is going to turn it around. A greater joy and glory is coming ahead of you, (1Pet.4:16, Isa. 61:7). Keep your trust in God. Isaiah 49:23 (GNB) says, “Kings will be like fathers to you; queens will be like mothers. They will bow low before you and honor you; they will humbly show their respect for you. Then you will know that I am the LORD; no one who waits for my help will be disappointed." Beloved, do not give up. Isaiah 50:7 (CEV) says, “But the LORD God keeps me from being disgraced. So I refuse to give up because I know God will never let me down”. God is the lifter of your head.

The Bible says whoever believes in Jesus shall not be put to shame, (Rom.9:33, Rom.10:11). You shall not be put to shame. God loves you so much and your hope will not be disappointed, (Rom.5:5). Study, prepare yourself and be diligent in every area of your life, (2Tim.2:15). Avoid doing things you know you will be ashamed of later, (2Cor.4:2 & Rom.6:21). Be bold to testify and stand for Christ, (2Tim.1:8). As you abide in Christ by remaining in faith and fellowship with Him, you will not be ashamed both now and when He returns, (1John 2:28).

*Faith Declaration:*

God is my glory, my shield, and the lifter of my head. I shall not be put to shame. God’s joy and glory are my portion.

*TAKEN AWAY!*

*ISAIAH 53:4-5 (NIV), MATTHEW 8:16-17*
*Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, ... But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. When the even was come, ...he healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled ... Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.*

The healing power of God is coming upon you right now. Is there any pain, sickness, disease or negative health condition in your body right now? Right now, I declare an end to it because that condition no longer has a legal right to remain in your body. Jesus has taken it away! Jesus has healed you already. By His stripes, you are healed. Your total and perfect healing was part of your redemption package in Christ. As Jesus was taking away your sins, He took that health condition on His body also and He destroyed it completely.1 Peter 2:24 says, “Christ himself carried our sins in his body to the cross so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. It is by his wounds that you have been healed.”

Just as Moses lifted the bronze serpent all who looked at it were healed from the affliction of the fiery serpents, Jesus has been lifted on the Cross for you. As you look to Him and what He has done for you right now, you will be free from that affliction, (John 3:14). There is someone who has an eye condition that is healed now. Yes, receive your healing now! All manners of sicknesses and diseases are healed right now! Whatever your condition is, receive your healing now in the name of Jesus! Lay your hand on that place if you can, and command that discomfort to go because Jesus has taken it away! Halleluyah! Rise and walk! Stretch yourself! Start doing what you could not do before.

*RECEIVE THE VICTORY OF CHRIST OVER THAT SITUATION*

*JOHN 16:33 (CEV), ROMANS 8:37 (LB), 2 CORINTHIANS 2:14*
*I have told you this, so that you might have peace in your hearts because of me. While you are in the world, you will have to suffer. But cheer up! I have defeated the world. *but despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us.*Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ*

Jesus did not only die for our sins. He died so that we might have His life and victory in every single area of our lives. Jesus came that you may have His life and have it more abundantly, (John 10:10). God is concerned about every area of your life (Matt.10:30) and He has promised to perfect ALL that concerns you, (Psa.138:8). Beloved, God is not condemning you; rather, He is always at work in you, lovingly helping you to overcome and experience His victory. Jesus has victoriously gone through what you are going through and He wants you to come boldly to receive His mercy and grace for that situation, (Heb.4:14-16). He wants you to be of good cheer. He has already given you victory in that situation. What Jesus has done for you is more powerful than the effects of what Adam did, (Rom.5:17).

No matter what you may be going through right now, in all those things you are more than conquerors through Christ’s love for you. Jesus has already given you the victory and He wants you to receive His victory into your life. When you receive the victory of Christ over the situation, it will reflect in your thoughts, words and actions. It will reflect in your countenance. Stop trying to win and get the victory. Receive the victory Christ has already won for you and declare it into your life. Rejoice about it and God will lead you to experience it.

*CHRIST IS YOUR SUFFICIENCY*

*2 CORINTHIANS 3:4-5 (TPT), COLOSSIANS 2:9-10 (Living Bible)*
*We carry this confidence in our hearts because of our union with Christ before God. Yet we don’t see ourselves as capable enough to do anything in our own strength, for our true competence flows from God’s empowering presence. *For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ....*

The fullness of God dwells in Christ, and you are complete in Christ. This means that you have everything because you are one with Christ (1 Cor. 6:17). When God was giving you Christ, He also gave you all things, (Rom. 8:32). Nothing is missing or lacking in your life. You are whole and complete in Christ. Therefore, you can be strong and do exploits in any situation you find yourself in. You can also receive and experience whatever you desire from God.

When our second text above says that all of God is in Christ, it also means that whenever you mention the name of Jesus, you activate all of the wonderful and powerful names of God. God will manifest His power and glory in every manner and dimension you desire Him. Because of Christ, you have access to all of God's fullness. Because of your faith in Christ, you cannot be denied any dimension of God's nature and power. As God the Father gave all of Himself to Christ, He has given all of Himself to you. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (Rom. 8:17). God the Father loves you just the same way He loves Christ (John 17:23). As you understand this, you will never have a sense of fear or lack again. All things will be possible for you (Phil.4:11-13). Instead of being anxious in your time of need, you will pray with faith and thanksgiving, and you will enjoy God's peace (Phil.4:6-7).
