LORD, LET YOUR GLORY BE SEEN IN MY LIFE
READ: 1 Corinthians 1:26-31
Key Scripture
“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” (1 Corinthians 1:27)
REFLECTION
In today’s reading, Saint Paul reminds us that God does not judge people according to human standards. Many of the believers were not considered powerful, wise, or important by the world, yet God called and used them for His glory. This shows us that God specializes in using ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. Human beings often focus on appearance, status, wealth, education, or influence, but God looks at the heart. He can lift the humble, strengthen the weak, and honor those who trust completely in Him. Sometimes we may feel unqualified, rejected, or insignificant because of our background, limitations, or present condition. But this passage teaches us never to underestimate what God can do through a surrendered life. When God chooses a person, His grace becomes sufficient for that person. The glory must belong to God alone and not to human pride. Therefore, instead of depending solely on our strength or achievements, we must rely on God’s wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption through Christ Jesus. If we remain humble and faithful, God will use our lives as testimonies of His power and mercy.
PRAYER
1. Father, thank you for choosing and calling me despite my weaknesses.
2. Lord, let your glory be revealed through my life.
3. Father, remove every spirit of inferiority and discouragement from me.
4. Lord, help me never to depend on human strength above your grace.
5. Father, use my life as an instrument for your honor and glory.
6. Lord, strengthen every weak area of my life.
7. Father, let your wisdom guide all my decisions and actions.
8. Lord, humble my heart and keep me close to you always.
9. Father, let every limitation in my life become a testimony of your power.
10. Lord, help me to boast only in you and not in worldly achievements.

Saint Augustine, Bishop and Doctor of the Church (MEMORIAL)
LORD, LET THE POWER OF THE CROSS WORK IN ME
READ: 1 Corinthians 1:17-25
Key Scripture
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:18)
REFLECTION
In today’s reading, Saint Paul teaches us about the mystery and power of the cross of Christ. To the people of the world, the cross may appear weak, foolish, and meaningless, but to believers it is the very power of God unto salvation. Through the cross, Jesus defeated sin, conquered death, and brought victory to humanity. The wisdom of God is far greater than human wisdom, and His power surpasses human strength. Many people trust in human understanding, wealth, influence, or earthly power, yet true victory and salvation come only through Christ crucified. The cross reminds us that God works differently from the expectations of the world. Sometimes God uses humble situations, difficult moments, and painful experiences to reveal His glory and power in our lives. As Christians, we are called not to be ashamed of the Gospel or the cross of Christ. Instead, we must hold firmly to our faith and trust in God’s wisdom even when we do not fully understand His ways. The power of the cross can break every chain, restore broken lives, strengthen weak hearts, and bring hope where there seems to be none. When we surrender ourselves completely to Christ, His divine power begins to work mightily within us.
PRAYER
1. Father, thank you for the gift and power of the cross of Christ.
2. Lord, help me never to be ashamed of the Gospel.
3. Father, let the power of the cross destroy every bo***ge in my life.
4. Lord Jesus, strengthen my faith whenever I face trials and difficulties.

The Cross is not a symbol of defeat; it is the power of God at work in our lives. When human strength fails and our understanding reaches its limit, Christ invites us to trust in His wisdom and surrender our struggles to Him.

Whatever bo***ge, pain, weakness, or impossible situation you may be facing today, do not lose hope. The same Christ who conquered sin and death can bring victory and transformation into your life.

Cling to the Cross. Trust in Christ. His power is still at work in you.

Twenty-First Week in Ordinary Time, Year II
LORD, ESTABLISH THE WORK OF MY HANDS
READ: 2 Thessalonians 3:6-10, 16-18
Key Scripture
“For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.” (2 Thessalonians 3:10)
REFLECTION
God does not bless laziness. In today’s reading, Saint Paul warned believers against idleness and encouraged every Christian to live a disciplined and responsible life. Paul himself became an example by working hard so that he would not become a burden to others. This teaches us that work is honorable before God. A strong Christian is not only prayerful but also diligent. God expects us to use the gifts, strength, wisdom, and opportunities He has given us productively. When we work faithfully and honestly, we invite God’s blessings upon the labor of our hands. Many people pray for breakthroughs, yet refuse to work, learn, improve, or persevere. God is able to bless us, but He also wants us to cooperate with His grace through hard work, commitment, and discipline. The Lord of peace mentioned in this passage is ready to establish us and grant us success in every good work. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with faith, dedication, and prayer. God can prosper little efforts and turn small beginnings into testimonies. As you remain faithful and hardworking, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will surely be with you.
PRAYER
1. Father, remove every spirit of laziness and procrastination from my life in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, give me the grace to be diligent and faithful in all my responsibilities.
3. Father, establish the work of my hands and let my labor produce good fruits.
4. Lord, bless my efforts and crown them with success.
5. Father, help me to work with wisdom, discipline, and perseverance.
6. Every power frustrating my progress and productivity, be destroyed in Jesus’ name.
7. Lord, let every good thing I lay my hands upon prosper.
8. Father, give me the strength not to give up in difficult times.
9. Lord, teach me to balance prayer with responsibility and hard work.

God does not despise small beginnings. Every sincere effort, every act of faithfulness, and every step taken in obedience matters to Him. Even when you cannot see the results yet, keep working, keep praying, and keep trusting God. In His time, He can transform your little efforts into a great testimony.
