SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Greetings.

As I Celebrate my 62nd birthday in a few days time, I have reasons to reflect on the Faithfulness of God in my life and Ministries of 40 years.

I have in particular been in Prison Ministry from 6th March, 1992 till date ( 30 years ). As many of you know I have a strong calling and passion for this assignment but for sometime now because of the growth and having the responsibility of providing leadership for ICOBAC International Fellowship of Churches Inc now in about 60 Nations which Gift Of Gospel Grace Prison Ministries International Inc is a subsidiary Ministry, I have not been able to engage in Prison Outreach as I use to. I really wish I can continue.

Having some one who has been under my tutelage in Prison Ministry for more than 26 years I am persuaded that he has the capability and competence to take over the leadership of our Prison Ministries.

I hereby announce that I have approved the appointment of Apostle Dr Sunday Ashikodi, Chief of Staff to the Global Primate And Metropolitan Archbishop and a Committed Ministry son as Executive Director/ CEO, Gift Of Gospel Grace Prison Ministries International Inc with effect from Monday 4th July, 2022.

His is by this announcement being duly introduced to our affiliate Prison Ministries Organizations in Nigeria and Overseas including International Network Of Prison Ministries Dallas United States of America as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Rev Dr Mrs. Rita Nwabuokei shall continue to serve as Chaplain to the Metropolitan Archbishop on Prison Ministries.

FROM THE PATRIARCH'S ❤️

BE AN EFFECTIVE LEADER PART ONE.

" And the king said to Zadok, carry back the Ark of God into the city if I shall find favour in the eyes of the Lord, he will bring me again and show me both it, and his habitation.

But if he say thus I have no delight in thee, behold here am I let him do to me as seemeth good into him ...... ( 2 Samuel: 25 - 29 )

Studying this passage of scripture recently, I was struck by David's capacity as an able leader even in the midst of greatest crises in his life. His son Absalom just drove him out of the throne, having taken over the Kingdom. There was confusion and panic everywhere. In the midst of all these, David though barefooted and crying exhibited real Leadership.

He instructed Zadok the priest what to do with the Ark of the Lord. Instruction : That's leadership.

He told the priest about his plan, here is my plan David said. Plan, Strategic plan, that's leadership.

He sent some specific servants on some specific assignments promising to " wait... for a report from you" (2 Samuel 15:29 ). A report on a given assignment, that's leadership.

No wonder David won the Battle but the secret of his Success was because he took responsibility and and exercised leadership.

May we learn from the exemplary life of David to be an impactful leader that God has designed you to be.

ICOBAC is all about leadership development and Impartation.
