TOPIC: Light – A Source Of Hope (Seeds Of Destiny 20 July 2024)

SCRIPTURE: Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; Psalm 13:3

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Light signals hope.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

Many years ago, I came across an experiment where a group of rabbits were put in an open container.

And another group of rabbits were put in a closed container. They were all struggling to get out of those containers.

It was discovered that within a short time, those rabbits in a closed container died in rapid succession because they saw no light. But those in the open container continued to struggle for freedom for as long as they could see light. The reason was, as long as they could see light, they could see hope.

You see, light signals hope. That is why when people are depressed, they love to stay in darkness. Depressed people like dark places.

Our anchor scripture says,
…lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
This means, “Lighten my eyes so I can have life and escape the sleep of death. Lighten my eyes so I can have hope.” So, light signals hope. And as light bearers, we are the hope of our generation.

Beloved, people who wish to die should look at you and change their minds, and opt for life instead of death.

Sometime ago, some people told me, “We have lost hope in our country, but whenever we see you pray for the nation the way you do, our hope for the country is revived afresh.”

No man of God is authorized to be a negative prophecy giver. Prophecy comes for edification and comfort. If anything negative is revealed to you, it is revealed so it can be deleted. God unravels what the enemy plans so it can be cancelled. He reveals it so you can reverse it.

Beloved, you are a hope giver, a hope distributor. You are the hope of your family, the hope of your community, the hope of your nation, and the hope of your generation.

Remember this: Light signals hope.

ASSIGNMENTS:

Consistently feed your spirit man with God’s Word for your shining.
Let your light shine in your generation.
Let your speech be always seasoned with hope.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to shine, and transmit hope to my generation. Let men see my good works and glorify Your Name, Lord, in Jesus’ Name

Do you know that you were built to withstand trouble? Maybe today you've been crying, "Lord, do you not see my situation? Do something!" No, you are the one who is supposed to do something. God has given you the power to take charge in battle and to put out demonic fires. You can command a thing to be, and it will manifest. Contrariwise, you can command a thing not to exist, and it will cease to exist. Act like Jesus today. He calmed the storms with words. He said to the raging tempest, "Peace, be still," and there was a great calm. He said, "Get behind me, Satan," and the devil was silenced. Exercise the same dominion, and you'll see events turn around in your favour!

PRAYER FOR SANCTIFICATION AND CONSECRATION

INTRODUCTION
Sanctification is the process of deliberately studying the word of God and living
by His instructions, especially when faced with the temptation to do the wrong
thing. When you are sanctified, you will hate iniquity.
LET US PRAY
1. Father, thank you for the salvation of my soul in Jesus name.
2. Father, we repent of our ignorance and sins of compromise, in Jesus name.
3. Father, in any way we have made you too small in our eyes please have
mercy on us, in Jesus name.
4. Father, please sanctify us with your word in Jesus name
5. Father, take away stony hearts from us and give us hearts of flesh in Jesus
name. Eze. 36:26
6. Father, help me to live a Holy life unto you, please give me the grace to live
a consecrated life unto you in Jesus name.

TOPIC: REVIVAL IS HERE

MEMORISE:
“Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” – (Psalm 85:6)

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

MESSAGE:
Revival is here and only those who are prepared will be a part of it. God is doing a new thing and He wants to use willing vessels, not just pastors and men of God, but also ordinary people that are filled with the Holy Ghost. If you have not yet been baptized in the Holy Ghost, you better ask Him for the baptism. A big revival is here, and He doesn't want to use the pastors alone; he wants to use all His willing and available children. The question, however, is, are you fit for the Master's use?
There are two major things you need to be fit for the Master's use in this revival. They are stated in (2 Timothy 2:21):
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
The first thing you must do is purge yourself of any iniquity – you must be sanctified. Sanctification comes through constant study and dependence on the word of God (John 17:17).
Secondly, you must be prepared to work. God cannot use you if you are lazy, He only uses people that are prepared to work hard. Proverbs 18:9 says:
He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.
God describes the lazy man as being just the same as a waster. God won't waste His anointing on you if you are lazy. When He gives you the anointing, it is not the time to relax but the time to work even harder.
Beloved, it takes hard work to become a champion, but it takes even harder work to remain one. When you are struggling to become a champion, you stretch yourself and train vigorously. Once you become one, you will suddenly realise that from that moment, everybody starts coming after your crown to take it from you. Clearly, it is better not to have become a champion than to be an ex-champion while still at one's prime. The pain of the ex-champion is not the bruises on his body, it is the shame of walking in the streets and seeing those that had been hailing him as a champion suddenly turn their faces away from him.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, when You are looking for people to use for Your glory, please don't leave me out.

INTRODUCTION
Poverty is the state of being poor. Poverty exists when people lack the means to
satisfy their basic needs. Poverty is never for a child of God and you must stand
against it in prayers as the wind of is blowing.
LET US PRAY
1. Father, thank you for your provisions for my life in Jesus’ name. Psa 103:2
2. Father thank you for becoming poor that I may be rich in Jesus’ name

THE WIND IS BLOWING INTO MY PRODUCTIVITY AND CAREER THIS YEAR
BIBLE TEXT(S): Gen. 1:28, John: 15:5

INTRODUCTION:
Productivity(fruitfulness) is one of the mandate God gave to His children. it is not negotiable; it is a command. and if you are a true child of God all you need to do in order to be productive is to abide in the Lord who gave the command.

LET US PRAY:
1. Father, I thank you for all your mercies I have enjoyed over the labour of my hands in Jesus name.

2. Father, please deliver me and my family from the spirit of unproductivity in the name of Jesus Deut. 1:40-46.

3. Father, you are the source of productivity, i hide in you, help me to be productive in my career in Jesus name.

4. Father, in my career help me to be faithful, for it is required of a steward to be found faithful in Jesus name. 1 Cor. 4:2.

5. Father, help me to pursue my career according to your standard for the glory of Your name in Jesus name Col. 3:17, 23.

6. Father, in all my career let me seek the kingdom of heaven first in the name of Jesus. Matt. 6: 33.

7. Father, help me to abide in you at all-time never to allow anything to disconnect me in Jesus name John. 15:5.

8. Father, in this evil day, please strengthen me to walk wisely making the best use of my time in Jesus name Phil 4:13, Eph. 1:5.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When God wants to reveal the puzzle behind any persistent challenge in your life, He would open up Scriptures to you.

The Word of God is a dissolver of puzzles and mysteries. When God wants to reveal the puzzle behind any persistent challenge in your life, He would open up Scriptures to you.

There was a young man who had written the University Matriculation Examination (UME) many times over a long period of time. Each time he wrote the examination, he would not get the admission for the course he wanted to study. Consequently, he was left far behind by his mates.

Then one day, he listened to a message that I preached some time ago. In that message, I said that a man can start his education at a later time in his life and still succeed in life. I encouraged people never to give up on themselves even if their parents could not see them through school.

Also, in that message, I said that if someone started his education at the age of thirty, it was not too late for him. If he went through the primary school at the age of thirty, by the time he would be thirty-six, he would have finished his primary school education. By the time, he was forty-two, he would have finished secondary school education as well. And by the time he was forty-six, he must have obtained his first degree from a University. At the age of forty-eight, he would have got his second degree or Master’s Degree. At fifty-two, he would have bagged his Doctorate degree (PhD).

The question is, how many people do you know in our society today that have their Doctorate Degrees at the age of fifty-two?
The young man said when he heard this message, it neutralized every mystery around his education. So, he took the bull by the horn and went back to school. Today, he has successfully graduated from the University. It was one message that pushed him forward in life.

Beloved, one revelation or insight from the Word of God is enough to dissolve your problems.

REMEMBER THIS: When God wants to reveal the puzzle behind any persistent challenge in your life, He would open up Scriptures to you.

ASSIGNMENTS:

2. Give yourself to the study of the Scriptures for access into mystery-dissolving light.
