The Lord who gives the farmer understanding and great wisdom, may HE also give to us Nigerians the understanding and great wisdom to know what to do at this time (Isaiah 28:26-29). Amen!

God never destined anyone for wrath.

Your destiny that God arranged for you is to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep, we might live with him (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10).

So, if you die today and go to hell or face wrath it isn't God's fault. It is your choice.

Hell wasn't made by God for man. It was made for the Devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). If you find yourself there isn't because God wants you there but because you choose to be there yourself.

Let's be warned!

The Day draws near!

In this world, there is only but two kingdoms and two masters. You are either on God’s side or the Devil’s side. There is no neutral ground or ‘me side.’ (Matthew 6:24, 1 Corinthians 10:21, Colossians 1:13).

To be on God’s side you actively believe in His dear Son Jesus Christ. (John 3:16)

You don’t need to do anything to be on the Devil’s side because we all were born slaves of the Devil ever since the FALL OF MAN (Psalm 51:5) (except that some persons have been redeemed because they believe in Jesus Colossians 1:13).

Let it be known that;

- Living life passively is a decision to be on Devil’s side.
- Choosing to live life as you want is choosing to be on the Devil’s side.
- Being born into a Christian home doesn’t completely mean you are on God’s side. Though it gives you an advantage and opportunity to but you would still need to deliberately and intentionally believe in JESUS when you are old enough to choose.
- Choosing to just be on your own. ‘I no disturb anybody, nobody disturb me’, is choosing to be on the Devil’s side.

The truth is, there is only ONE WAY the Father God has made available, and it is His dear Son Jesus Christ. So to be on God side is to choose THE WAY God has provided and not the way you want. (John 14:6)

Believing the Son is what gives the Father glory. (Ephesians 1:12) It is not what you do. So don’t bother inventing your own way. Just accept and agree to what the Father has provided already.

God’s wonderful Grace has been revealed to us today. He has demonstrated His everlasting love to us today by giving us His Dear Son whom He loves. Accept His gift of salvation and be saved from judgment and condemnation. (Romans 3:24, 8:1)

The Devil is already under God’s judgment and condemnation (John 16:11) and no matter how glistering the Devil present himself to you now is only to deceive you and lure you into his lot. The Devil’s lot is eternal condemnation and it is just a matter of time for us to see all of this. So don’t be deceived! Everyone who chooses the devil knowingly or unknowingly is choosing the lot of the Devil as well.

You don’t have to go through all of that judgment and condemnation and that’s why the Father has redeemed us back to Himself and bought our freedom from the Devil, sin and death. So we are free from these three enemies. All you got do is BELIEVE. That’s all God require from your side. He has done the remaining things.

When you BELIEVE you become free, (Colossians 1:13)
When you BELIEVE you become saved (John 3:16)
When you BELIEVE you become redeemed (Galatians 3:13)
When you BELIEVE you become justified (Galatians 3:24)
When you BELIEVE you become sanctified (John 17:17,19, Hebrews 1:3)
When you BELIEVE you become righteous (Romans 3:22)
When you BELIEVE you become a child of God (Galatians 3:26, John 1:12)
When you BELIEVE you have ETERNAL LIFE (John 3:16)
When you BELIEVE you become co-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17
When you BELIEVE you receive all God’s blessings and promises including His Holy Spirit (Galatians 3:14)
When you BELIEVE you become a partaker of God’s own glory. (Romans 5:2, 8:17)

What else in this life can be more than these? BELIEVE!

Happy new year Beloved. I am so glad to welcome you to 2023 A Wonderful Year. It is the year where good things happen. God has prepared each day of this year to be a delight and to be enjoyable for us, especially Nigerians. I celebrate you my dear.

Hear ye the word of the Lord;

Then will the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people. Yea, the Lord will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen: But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things. Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
Joel 2:18‭-‬32 KJV

When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Psalm 126:1‭-‬6 KJV

When the devil came into the earth, it was proclaimed; “woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” (Revelation 12:12)

But when Jesus came into the earth, this is what was proclaimed; “fear not, for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior which is Christ the Lord…Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men…And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.” (Luke 2:10,11,14, 1:33).

Now, let us analyze the both together.

The first thing proclaimed to the earth when Satan (Devil) came into it was Woe! This means great sadness or distress. Woe is synonymous to grief, sorrow and misery. Can you imagine what came into the world when Satan entered? What a pity to the earth. Not only did he bring grief but he came with wrath. Anyway, rejoice earth because he has only but a short time.

The first thing proclaimed when Jesus came illustrate He came to undo the works of Satan. Satan brought in fear but when Jesus came He took the fear away and that was why it was said “fear not.” The coming of Jesus into the earth is good news of glad tidings but that of the Devil was disheartening and sorrowful.

While the Devil came with wrath, Jesus came with salvation. Notice, Jesus brought peace upon the earth and removed the grief Satan brought into it.

The good news about Jesus coming is that He has come to stay. He came not just as a child but as a king to reign over the throne of His father David and His kingdom will have no end. Praise the Lord o ye earth because we got a king whose kingdom is of peace, joy and righteousness. He reigns victoriously and triumphantly. He did not come only for a short time but He came so He can stay forever.

As we celebrate this Christmas season I want to remind you that this same Jesus is still reigning today. His kingdom is here. If you choose His kingdom and come into it, then you will enjoy His reign. His reign is one of peace and joy.

You can choose whose kingdom you belong to but one thing I can assure you is that Satan’s kingdom won’t last. “Come into my Kingdom prepared for you from the beginning of the world” said Jesus (Matthew 25:34) and enjoy God’s goodness forever. It is only in God’s kingdom that good things last forever.

I wish you a merry Christmas and a wonderful new year in advance. Let me also assure you that 2023 is going to be wonderful for us Nigerians. Rejoice!!!

Yours in Christ,
Idoko Meshach Ojonoma

I want to encourage someone here tonight.

Every trial we face is an opportunity to see Jesus in a fresh and new way.

What you need for your problem is not more counseling nor is it more advice but more revelations of Jesus.

You are sick, you don't need an advice, second advice, and third advice you need a revelation of Jesus.

Everything God gives us is wrapped up in the knowledge of Jesus.

Every fresh trial is to show a new vision or aspect of Jesus.

What you need to do in a trial is to ask the Lord for a fresh revelation of Jesus.

What are you going through today, all you need is a fresh revelation of Jesus.

I pray you see Him in that challenge.

Yours Beloved
Meshach Ojonoma Idoko
