MIKA 2:12-13

12: “Hakika zan tattara ku duka, ya Yakubu, Zan tattara ringin Isra'ila. Zan haɗa su tare kamar tumaki a garke, Kamar garken tumaki a makiyaya Za su zama taron jama'a mai hayaniya.

13: “Wanda zai huda garu, shi zai yi musu jagora, Za su fita ƙofar, su wuce, su fice ta cikinta. Sarkinsu zai wuce gabansu, Ubangiji kuma yana kan gaba.”

FANSA DA SAKE TATTAROWA TA MUTANEN ALLAH

Sabanin annabawan karya da s**a warwatsa mutanen Allah, a nan, akwai kalmar karfafawa daga wurin Allah da kansa zuwa ga ragowar Masu Bi na gaskiya wadanda suke Isra’ilawa na alkawari, wadanda s**a yi biyayya da wahayinsa na kubuta da kuma sake taruwa.

Allah ya tabbata a cikin abinda zai yi, “Lalle zan tattaro ku duka, ya Yakubu, sauran Isra’ila.” (aya 12).

Wani abu da ya tabbata a cikin wannan rubutu, Allah shine mai kubutar da al’ummarsa daga ’yan jihadi, ’yan bindiga, ’yan ta’adda da ’yan fashin kasa. Wannan wahayi ne cike da karfafawa daga Allah Jehobah. Wannan ya fi alkawuran banza na annabawan karya.

Ragowar za su koma Yahuda kuma za su zama babban taro a Karkashin kulawar makiyayi na Allah. Na san an raba ku da muhallanku saboda ayyukan miyagu a cikin wannan al’umma, an zalunce ku, kuna yin hijira daga wannan sansanin ’yan gudun hijira zuwa wani saboda imaninku, an zalunce ku, an cuce ku.

A matsayin mu na Masu Bi da ke cikin kashe-kashe, da nakasa, da garkuwa da mutane, da fyade, da kowane gadon ku (dukiyoyin kasa) ta hannun miyagu, bari mu dubi Allah wajen tattaro mutanensa. Allah ya yi a baya, zai iya sake yi.

TAMBAYA:
Wane irin zalunci kuke fuskanta a wannan al’umma?

ADDU’A:
Ya Ubangiji kamar yadda ka kubutar da al’ummarka, ka tara jama’arka, muna bukatar magani daga gareka a kan halin da al'umma ke ciki, musamman masu zaluntar Masu Bi. Ya Ubangiji, ka cece mu daga wadanda suke kwace kasarmu. Amin.

TOPIC: DELIVERANCE AND REGATHERING FOR GOD'S PEOPLE

MICAH 2:12-13 (NIV)

12: "I will surely gather all of you, Jacob; I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture; the place will throng with people.

13: The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the LORD at their head."

DELIVERANCE AND REGATHERING FOR GOD'S PEOPLE

In contrast to false prophets who scattered God's people, there is a word of encouragement from God Himself to the remnants of sincere believers who are part of covenant Israel—those who heed His revelation of deliverance and regathering.

God assures us of His intentions: "I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob, the remnant of Israel..." (v. 12).

It is certain from this text that God is the deliverer of His people from jihadists, bandits, terrorists, and land grabbers. This is an uplifting revelation from Yahweh, far better than the empty promises of false prophets.

The remnant will return to Judah and will grow into a large multitude under the care of the divine shepherd.

I recognize that many of you have been displaced due to the actions of evil individuals in this nation.

You have faced persecution, moving from one IDP camp to another because of your faith. You have been exploited and oppressed.

As believers enduring violence, kidnapping, and the seizure of your land, let us turn to God for the regathering of His people. God has delivered in the past; He can do it again.

QUESTION:
What kind of injustice are you experiencing in this nation?

PRAYER:
Oh Lord, just as You delivered and gathered Your people in the past, we need Your intervention in our current situation. Save us, O Lord, from those who exploit and oppress believers and from those who seize our lands. Amen.

1: Taku ta ƙare, ku masu shirya mugunta, Masu tsara mugunta a gadajensu! Sa'ad da gari ya waye, sai su aikata ta, Domin ikon aikatawa yana hannunsu.

2: Sukan yi ƙyashin gonaki da gidaje, sai su ƙwace. Sukan zalunci mutum, su ƙwace gidansa da gādonsa.

3: Domin haka Ubangiji ya ce, Ga shi, yana shirya wa wannan jama'a masifa, Wadda ba za ku iya kuɓuta daga cikinta ba. Ba kuma za ku yi tafiyar alfarma ba, Gama mugun lokaci ne.

KAITO GA MASU CIN ZALIN TALAKAWA

An zalunce ku ne? Ku dubi Yesu, wanda yake da mafita ga matsalar ku.

TOPIC: WOE TO THE OPPRESSORS EXPLOITING THE POOR

MICAH 2:1-5 (NIV)

1: Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it.

2: They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud people of their homes, they rob them of their inheritance.

3: Therefore, the LORD says: "I am planning disaster against this people, from which you cannot save yourselves. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of calamity.

4: In that day people will ridicule you; they will taunt you with this mournful song: ’We are utterly ruined; my people’s possession is divided up. He takes it from me! He assigns our fields to traitors.’"

5: Therefore you will have no one in the assembly of the LORD to divide the land by lot.

WOE TO THE OPPRESSORS EXPLOITING THE POOR

In our previous study of Micah 1:8-16, we discussed the activities of land grabbers who exploit the poor and defenseless.

Today's text continues to address the actions of these wicked individuals. We see them coveting the land of the poor, much like Ahab desired Naboth's vineyard (1 Kings 21:1-24).

These oppressors are robbing the people of Israel of their ancestral land, which was given to them as an everlasting inheritance during the time of Joshua.

These exploiters have been operating for a long time, evading justice from human authorities, but God will ultimately bring calamity upon them.

We witness a similar situation in Nigeria, where oppressors are forcing people off their own land. However, for Israel and for believers in Nigeria, the Lord promises to fight for them. Those who oppress God's people and forcibly seize their lands will face punishment.

The people originally entrusted their land to these individuals for farming and cattle grazing, but now these wicked individuals have taken ownership of what rightfully belongs to others; they will be held accountable.

Just as God delivered His people Israel from exploitation and oppression, He is willing to do the same today.

QUESTION:
Are you experiencing exploitation or oppression? Look to Jesus, who has the solution to your predicament.

PRAYER:
Oh Lord, You are the only God who can help your people escape the exploitation and oppression of jihadists, terrorists, bandits, and land grabbers.

ROMAWA 13:1-7

1: Bari kowa yă yi biyayya ga mahukunta. Gama ba wani iko sai da yardar Allah. Mahukuntan da suke nan kuwa naɗin Allah ne.

2: Saboda haka duk wanda ya yi wa mahukunta tsayayya, ya yi wa umarnin Allah ke nan, masu yin tsayayyar nan kuwa za a yi musu hukunci.

3: Don kuwa mahukunta ba abin tsoro ba ne ga masu aiki nagari, sai dai ga masu mugun aiki. Kana so kada ka ji tsoron mahukunci? To, sai ka yi nagarta, sai kuwa ya yaba maka.

4: Domin shi bawan Allah ne, don kyautata zamanka. Amma in kai mai mugun aiki ne, to, ka ji tsoro, don ba a banza yake riƙe da takobi ba. Ai, shi bawa ne na Allah, mai sāka wa mugu da fushi.

KOWA YANA KARKASHIN IKON ALLAH

TEXT: ROMANS 13:1-7
TOPIC: EVERYONE IS UNDER GOD'S AUTHORITY

ROMANS 13:1-7 (NIV)

1: Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

2: Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

3: For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended.

4: For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

5: Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

6: This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.

7: Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

EVERYONE IS UNDER GOD'S AUTHORITY

In both the Roman and Nigerian governments, laws and regulations are established. Believers are part of both societies; therefore, they are expected to acknowledge and accept that authority, especially concerning the payment of taxes (vs. 6-7).

Why should believers obey authority?

First, God instituted authority to fulfill His purpose of salvation and judgment (Psalm 75:2; Isaiah 40:21-26; Daniel 2:21). Additionally, obeying authority helps us avoid God's wrath and supports the believers' conscience.

God views authority as His servants, meant to carry out His will and impose consequences on wrongdoers (v. 4).

As followers, we should respect the authorities established by God, recognizing that they too are under His authority.

It is crucial for both believers to obey the governing authorities and for leaders to understand their accountability to God, regardless of where they serve.

QUESTION:
Why do we sometimes act contrary to the established authority?

PRAYER:
Lord, help us to recognize and obey the governing authorities, viewing them as Your ministers.

TOPIC: GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS

JONAH 2:1-10 (NIV)

1: From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD his God.

2: He said: "In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry.

3: You hurled me into the depths, into the very heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me; all your waves and breakers swept over me.

4: I said, ’I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’

5: The engulfing waters threatened me, the deep surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head.

6: To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, LORD my God, brought my life up from the pit.

7: "When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, LORD, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple.

8: "Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them.

9: But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ’Salvation comes from the LORD.’"

10: And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS

What better way to conclude our devotions in September than through prayer!

From focusing on matters of the end times in Revelation, we moved to matters of earthly politics in Esther, and we are ending with matters of mission in Jonah. We have it all wrapped up. We conclude with Jonah praying in an unusual place: the belly of a fish!

This is the last place you would suggest to hold your prayer meeting! But again, the Sovereignty of God confronts us. He does wonders in unexpected places.

The prophet's prayer is that of confession, adoration, and thanksgiving to God; yes, even the God he tried to run away from! In all these, na God win!

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8). Like the psalmist says in Psalms 113:3-5, "From the rising of the sun to its coming down, the name of the LORD is to be praised..."

As the Lord answered Jonah's prayer from the belly of the fish and made it vomit him onto shore, He will answer your prayers today. But remember that you have work to do for Him. Are you ready?

QUESTION:
Have you had a reason to pray in unusual places and circumstances?

PRAYER:
To you alone be all the glory, power, and dominion, forever and ever, Amen.

3: Ka jefa ni cikin zurfi, Can cikin tsakiyar teku, Inda igiyoyin ruwa s**a kewaye ni, Kumfa da raƙuman ruwanka s**a bi ta kaina.

4: Na ce, an kore ni daga wurinka, Duk da haka zan sāke ganin Haikalinka mai tsarki.

5: Ruwa ya sha kaina, Tekun ta rufe ni ɗungum. Tsire-tsiren teku s**a naɗe kaina.

8: Su waɗanda suke yin sujada ga gumaka marasa amfani Sun daina yi maka biyayya.

9: Amma ni zan raira yabbai gare ka, Zan miƙa maka sadaka, Zan cika wa'adin da na yi. Ceto daga wurin Ubangiji yake.”

10: Ubangiji kuwa ya umarci kifin, kifin kuwa ya amayar da Yunusa a gaɓar teku.

ALLAH YANA AMSA ADDU’A

Wace hanya ce mafi kyau don kammala jerin ayyukan bautar Allah a watan Satumba fiye da ta hanyar addu’a!

Daga mai da hankali ga al’amura na karshe a Wahyayin Yahaya, mun haura zuwa al’amura na siyasa ta duniya a Esta, kuma mun kare da batutuwan manufа a Yunusa. Muna da su duka a wuri daya ne.

Mun kammala da Yunusa yana addu’a a wani wuri da ba a saba gani ba: cikin cikin kifi! Wannan shine wuri na karshe da za ka bada shawarar gudanar da taron addu’ar ka! Amma kuma, Mulkin Allah yana fuskantarmu. Yana yin abubuwan al’ajabi a wuraren da ba a zata ba.

Addu’ar Annabi ita ce ta yabo, da sujada, da godiya ga Allah; i, har da Allahn da ya yi kokarin ya gujewa! A cikin wannan duka, Allah ya yi nasara!

Hakika ciyawa ta kan bushe, furanni kuma su yi yaushi, amma maganar Allah ba za ta taba faduwa ba (Ishaya 40:8). Muna tare da mai Zabura: Daga gabas zuwa yamma, a yabi sunan Ubangiji! Ubangiji yake mulkin dukan sauran al’ummai, daukakarsa tana bisa kan sammai, ba wani kamar Ubangiji Allahnmu. Yana zaune a can kwankolin Sama. (Zabura 113: 3-5).

Kamar yadda Ubangiji ya amsa addu’ar Yunusa daga cikin cikin kifin kuma ya sa ya amayar da shi a bakin teku, zai amsa addu’arka a yau. Amma ka tuna cewa kana da aikin da za ka yi masa. Ka shirya?

TAMBAYA:
Shin ka sami dalilin yin addu’a a wurare da yanayi da ba a saba gani ba?

ADDU’A:
Gare ka kai kadai dukan daukaka, da iko, da mulki sun tabbata har abada abadin. Amin.
