MAN MADE
It's overstatement and laughable to hear some people brag about the people they made or anointed for success.
This is excessively credulous, and one of the main heresies wreaking havoc even among the Christians.
The question is, Are you man made or God made?
The idea of self-made is to suppress the truth of deity of Christ as the author and finisher. It's alteration of the plan of God when we assert to have made someone becoming whatever.
"In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will. Ephesians 1:11.
We undermine the gift and work of grace in our individual life whenever we believe the political statement of godfatherism that vaunted to have made someone to attain a certain height in life.
Christ makes that which has been made. He brings into existence whatever exists. His name is Yahweh which He has chosen to be remembered forever throughout all generations. Exodus 3:13-15
Everything we need for physical and spiritual growth including our salvation is only found in Christ and have already been given fullness in Him because in Christ the mysteries and secret things of God are revealed. The mystery of grace for salvation by the will of God was made known what are the riches of the glory among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27.
This means there's no any other name or means one can be made or saved except through Jesus Christ. All things are done according to God's plan and decision. God had chosen to save us, and make us what we're in His Son Jesus Christ based on what he had purpose from the very beginning. The exclusive nature of the only path to salvation is expressed in “I am the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6.
We can never find the true way in a man, and such mortal man has no ability of making anyone.
Peter and Thomas speaking on behalf of the other disciples told Jesus to show them the way was an indication that nobody truly knows the way except Jesus. John 13:33, 36 & 14:1 - 5.
Jesus is the only path to heaven, the only true measure of righteousness, and the source of both physical and spiritual life. Every other ways are mischievous and destructive. Noone can make you without Christ.
`Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” Acts 4:12.
We understand from the Bible is only by the dwelling in Christ and His love do we have eternal significance and can reap eternal rewards. Without Christ, we can do nothing of eternal significance.
Paul says, "By the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1 Corinthians 15:10.
Christians must have Christ living in them in order to overcome sin and other life deficiencies. Christ is the vine and we're the branches. The branches cannot do anything without being connected to the vine. They would die from being cut off from their source of nourishment and strength. We're made and fulfilled in Christ not on those mortals playing godfatherism.
The context of making people is soul winning.
Jesus says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Mathew 28:19 - 20.
Leading people to Christ and feeding their famished souls with the bread of life which is the word of God is making people becoming the people God wants them to be. A wise man is a soul winner. Proverbs 11:30.
So, how can you win someone to Christ without grace? Without Christ you can do nothing!
We don't need to brag of having made someone, but rather rejoice in the grace of our salvation. You cannot make a man if yourself wasn't made. Man by nature is blind because of sin and doesn't know the way of life.
Jesus asks, "Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into the ditch? A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher. Luke 6:39 - 40.
Salvation is grace through faith in Christ.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10
It's boastful and a kind of motivational to assert that you made this and that persons. Perhaps you're trying to draw accolades and gain attention to strike a selfish gain.
Boasting is to glorify oneself, talk in vanity, bragging attitude, or to speak especially about personal deeds. Boasting is to talk with pride. Boastful people are starving for attention.
Whatever you have achieved wasn't by works, but by grace through faith in Christ. Your self-faith and self-righteousness cannot by any means bring you closer to any achievement.
Whatever success we might have had as we tried to help others should usually not be discussed, let alone bragged about it.
This is especially true when we have the opportunity to help, comfort, counsel or console anyone who is weary and troubled in heart.
"But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, Matthew 6:3.
Humble, quiet and compassionate service is soul rewarding. We can only fulfil our divine mandate through humility and knowing that all is by God's grace. It's only possible if we connect to God through Christ.
Life cannot flow through us if we are not connected to the source of life. It's obvious and quite clear that a branch cannot produce fruit if it is no longer attached to the vine. We can only be meaningful and fulfil God's purpose if we depend on Christ for strength. Without Christ we can do nothing.
When Jesus talk about fruit, He means something important, significant and matters. We must abide and depend on Him to have abundance life. It's not just life, but life that endures.
The goal of a good farmer is not just to plant any how life plants, but to plant a producing plants. He does that with the right balance of pruning which includes weeding and cutting off the excess growth. Having excessive leaves could reduce the strength of the plant, and compromise the fruit. John 15:1 - 16.
Christ will for us is to develop healthy life with great fruitfulness, but it's our personal responsibility to prune our lives. We may not like it but we need to do it to stay healthy.
Pruning is necessary for proper and abundant fruitfulness to take place in our lives.
Life is not built in the negativity. Life can only be found in the positivity. We can produce much fruit in love which is the fruit of the Spirit.
Loving one another and bearing abundant fruit shall we only be identified as the true followers of Christ.
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:35.
Remaining in Christ means abiding in His love, which goes out toward God and others. One cannot be a true Christian without passion to love God and others. We can win souls by first loving them.
Abiding in Christ breeds passion in our souls to love others as Christ commanded. The very nature of Christ is love, thus to be connected to Him will create a godly love in us. Those who love Him will keep His commandments. You will tend to do what pleases others when you love them.
Loving one another gives us joy, and there will be no joy without love. Being a Christian and serving in love is not tedious or a kind of activities involving effects. Rather it’s a life we live through Christ. The joy of the LORD will be experienced by those who love Him; the fulness of joy that Jesus promised. This joy and love will be so obvious for those who are saved that others will think that we are like Christ. Our love should be so like Christ's that people will know what Christ is like by observing us.
We should learn how to give credit to God and be content regardless of our qualifications, achievements and circumstances. Whether we made this and that persons, our content will not based on that circumstances, but rather on a person -Jesus Christ.
"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God. 2 Corinthians 3:5
Nobody is complete, we're works in progress. We're still in progressive sanctification by the Word and Spirit of God. We should give credit to whom credit is due. God's name is "Jealous" because He is a jealous God and He will not share His glory with another. Exodus 34:14.
God who determines our steps in life deserves all the credit. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philipians 4:13.
Some political gladiators, job seekers, the sicks and those who are facing one problem and another usually make a motivational remarks using the same to score some points or found succor. But this isn’t a promise that things will go favorably to your way. Actually, it’s quite the opposite of what some people are positing. "I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH THE STRENGTH OF CHRIST" is an affirmation of hope in the midst of your struggles and trials. We should learn how to give credit to God and be content regardless of our qualifications, achievements and circumstances. Whether we made this and that persons, our content will not based on that circumstances, but rather on a person Jesus Christ. Regardless of your circumstances, you can be content, be at peace and have joy. If you have Jesus without anything, you have more than enough. The power of Christ Jesus in you is enough.
This is a drastic win for those who are struggling and without hope. It’s a reminder, an encouragement, that though life may be tough and seemingly hopeless there is hope in Christ. God is with you and you will draw strength from Him by depending on God.
You can get through whatever life throws your way because God is with you.
"For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13.
We have the ability to endure the trials and hardships when we keep our eyes on Jesus. And by this others will see and turn their life to Christ. We're encouraged to abide and remain steadfast in Christ when life gets tough and good. Not because we are enough, but because we have God living in us and He is more than enough.
