One of the most memorable highlights of AMOMYAโ€™s December camp was this session.

Having Dr. Folake J. Kofo Idowu (MD, MPH) with us at the AMOMYA December Camp was nothing short of a gift. In a room filled with young Muslims searching for clarity, strength, and direction, she spoke with honesty, compassion, and deep understanding.

She reminded us that mental health matters. That Iman and healing can coexist. That addiction is not a label but a struggle that deserves empathy. And that building a healthy future starts with self awareness, faith, and the courage to ask for help.

We are deeply grateful for the time, wisdom, and care she poured into our community. Thank you for believing in AMOMYA, for showing up fully, and for speaking to our hearts as well as our minds. This session will stay with us for a very long time.
