APOLOGIZE WITHOUT A BUT!
1. Of the many things men are subject to, to err is one of them. Sometimes out of genuine ignorance and sometimes out of arrogance.
2. It will become our undoing to be positioned in a way that you want to admit your error and at the same time want to defend the arrogance that led to it.
3. If it is ignorance, apologise genuinely and humble yourself to seek knowledge. If it is arrogance, submit to the authority of God's Word and flog it out.
4. You will lose many loved ones and many will watch you crash if we keep a stance that makes it difficult to bring us to book over our errors.
5. A shepherd over a flock should not be without accountability. You must be accountable or else you are likely not going to have sound counsel.
