Topic: CONTROL THAT ANGER
Text: Genesis 49:5-7

‘’For in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they hamstrung an ox.’’ Gen. 49: 6b

Anger is a very destructive weapon used by Satan against mankind. Anger can shatter communication, tear apart relationships and can ruin both joy and health of many people. Although, the bible approves what is called righteous indignation, but our anger should not lead us into sin. (Eph 4: 26-27). Righteous anger is justly expressed when we are confronted with sin. Jesus got angry with the money-changers in the temple and the Pharisees who were exploiting the people through religious rites. Anger became sin when we begin to attack the wrong doer instead of attacking the problem at hand. The anger you fail to control will control you, and can ruin your life and destiny.

PRAYERS
1. Oh Lord, deliver me from the bo***ge of the spirit of anger in Jesus name.

2. Lord, give me the grace and power to manage and control my emotions in time of provocation.

3. Lord, heal those that have emotional problem of short temperament in Jesus name.

The scripture has identified the Christians who conform to the world: they are those Christians who fail to renew their mind with the scriptures. Such Christians will face the same challenges that worldly people face. For example, some Christians are complaining of economic hardship, which worldly people are also complaining of. The Christians who are renewing their mind will never complain but praise God because they live in God's economy, where there is an abundance of every good thing. Moreover, such Christians can detect the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Dearly beloved, have you found the will of God for your life?

PRAYER
1. Lord, open my spiritual understanding, do not let me carried away by the mundanes.

2. I declare " my life is Goshen Land" I'm not a candidate for affliction, hardship and sickness, in Jesus name.

3. Power of God as of old, protect the Elects from the peril of the end time.
