SERMON: TAKING GOD SERIOUS IN YOUR LIFE
Deuteronomy 10:12–13
SPEAKER: Brother Nsisong Ebong
MESSAGE BRIEF:
God is not looking for people who only remember Him in difficult times; He seeks men and women who will genuinely fear Him, love Him, obey Him, and serve Him wholeheartedly. Taking God seriously means giving Him first place in your life and living according to His word.
What Does It Mean To Take God Serious?
To take God seriously means to fear Him, walk in His ways, love Him wholeheartedly, and serve Him faithfully. It means living a life that reflects obedience, commitment, and genuine devotion to God in every area of life.
Promises That Follow Those Who Take God Serious
When we take God seriously, His promises become evident in our lives. He grants divine protection and keeps us safe under His covering. He directs our paths and gives wisdom for every decision we make. God blesses the works of our hands and releases favor upon our lives. Even in difficult times, He gives peace that surpasses understanding and fights battles we cannot fight ourselves. He also answers our prayers as we remain connected to Him, and above all, He gives us the hope and assurance of eternal life.
Conclusion
Taking God seriously is not a burden but the pathway to a victorious and fulfilled Christian life. When we genuinely obey, love, and serve God, we position ourselves to enjoy His promises and experience His faithfulness daily.
