TOPIC: The Battle is not Yours but of God's
TEXT: 2 Chronicles 20:1-18
BIBLE REFS: 1 Samuel 17:45-47, Exodus 14:13-14, Exodus 15:1.
Beloved, the battle you are facing is not yours, it belongs to the Lord! When Jehoshaphat and Judah were surrounded by powerful enemies, they did not depend on their own strength. They sought the Lord, and God declared, “The battle is not yours, but God’s.”
Perhaps you are standing before a situation that looks impossible. Do not be afraid or discouraged. As Moses told Israel at the Red Sea, “Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you.” The same God who opened the Red Sea, and who gave David victory over Goliath, is still fighting for His people today.
Your victory will not come because of your human strength, connections, or ability. It will come because the Lord is with you. Lift your eyes from the size of the battle and fix them on the greatness of your God.
I declare: Every enemy rising against you shall be silenced. Every impossible situation shall become a testimony. God will make a way where there seems to be no way, and you will not fight this battle alone.
